My finds were so dismal today I decided not to post a pic for the first time in years. All I got at my local flea market was Little League Baseball (NES) with a dust sleeve for $2. That's it.
This place used to be a goldmine for me but now it's just the same common sun baked NES carts I've been sifting through for the past 5 years and a whole lot of overpriced PS2/Xbox/current gen junk vendors.

Baby Pac-Man Marquee - $2 (IAP)
Super Bust-A-Move (PS2, Complete) - $2.50
Super Bust-A-Move was marked $4 and I also had a CD that was marked .50. I offered $3 for both which was taken so I'm figuring the discount into the PS2 game.

Hit a craigslist rummage during lunch today that advertised a PS2 and “MANY video games”. Didn’t look like much when I pulled up, but as I walked over, I saw a PS2 slim system sitting on top of a small table. They wanted 50 bucks for it, so I really didn’t give it a second look. What caught my eye instead was the clear plastic tub under the table with stacks of PS2 games in it, and especially the game on top…
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner - $4.00
That’s nice for a change, I thought as I bent down to go through the bin, the good game on top of all the sports titles. It was complete and in great shape, so I put it aside to start a keep pile next to the bin. Only thing was, the next title in the stack wasn’t a sports game either…it was Disgaea 2, then Grandia III, and Tales of the Abyss, plus Odin Sphere, and MANY, MANY more!
Almost everything in the bin was a quality RPG, complete and well-cared for, ranging from $1 to $5! A few were a bit more, but they came with guides, and there were also some quality Gamecube titles. I left behind a few common RPGs I already had in my collection, but pretty much just took up the entire bin and didn’t even try to haggle. Final damage was $121.00 for 32 games and 3 guides (but I did get him to throw in the bin for free ;) ). I’m pretty sure that this is the most I have ever spent at a rummage sale on video games, but think I came out okay…
Baten Kaitos Origins (Gamecube)
Beyond Good and Evil
Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories
Escape From Monkey Island
Final Fantasy X
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (Gamecube)
Grandia III
Kya Dark Lineage

Makai Kingdom
Metal Arms: Glitch in the System

Here's what I found over the past week or so:
http://i707.photobucket.com/albums/ww75/evanwink42/Finds/finds222.jpg
Pokemon red was $2 at a garage sale. The kid selling had a bunch of other DS, GBA, and PS2 games, but they were all overpriced. NES games were at a sale advertising lots of video games. He had 'em, too. Mostly eBay or higher prices ($75 for a CIB SNES, NES, $25 for Mario Kart 64, etc). I picked out the NES games I didn't have and made a deal with him at $25 for all. Turns out I had Venice Beach, and I should have just left Pyramid given its condition, but oh well, nice to add a few games to the collection I didn't have.
Pocket Simon was $1 from 2 at a garage sale and the fold up 'tape' measure was 5 cents (I paid 25). I like these; for some things they are just easier. The rest were from thrifts: 3.95 for the N64, 1.95 for the SNES a/v, 1.80 for Interplay's 10 yr collection (CIB I believe), 4.99 for Office: Mac Student/teacher, 2.99 for the DS accessories, 2.99 for XP home.

I hate you, Cornelius. :p
I didn't have many finds today, the two booths at the flea market that usually bring good stuff... didn't set up shop. And I hadn't been able to go there since Friday, so I figure I missed out on some good stuff.
But anyway, I bought:
Filemaker Pro 6 Upgrade (Mac, CIB) - $5
I definitely overpaid. But full versions of this can sell for more than $150 so I guess it was worth it. :p
And in other finds, something that surprised the hell outta me. Three books on CPU programming!
Programming The Z80 by Rodnay Zaks
6502 Applications by Rodnay Zaks
6502 Assembly Language Programming by Lance A. Leventhal
Now you're probably thinking "What are those?" Well, variations of the 6502 were used in the NES, Apple II, Atari 2600, and Vic 20. The Z80 was used on the Genesis.
Now that I'm reading up on those, I should've probably picked up that book on the 68000 CPU too. Eh, hope it's still there tomorrow.

There were discussions last month about the PSP release of Patapon 2 and having it show up in UMD format rather than voucher. Since then I've been looking everywhere for a UMD version and have struck out until today. Found one at a Gamestop new for $9.99. They only had one, and of course, it wasn't sealed but that's okay as I would have opened it anyway.
Don't know if it's a find, but since many here are looking for it and it's difficult to locate, thought I'd post in the finds section.

Here is the Junk...
SNES Games

I was hoping for some neat flea market finds yesterday. All I found was a minty boxed copy of American McGee's Alice for $7 (small box, ice wand version). Seller had that price and I offered $5, but he gave me this "Are you some sort of alien!?" look and said no so I gave him his full offering price. It's in terribly nice shape, the discs and papers are mint. Am I correct in believing that this is an easy $30-40?
Anyway, that was all I found. I was set up selling stuff with my dad most of the day so I made a lot, I just didn't get a chance to look until late. Also, it was incredibly hot yesterday, at least 100 (It was 104 Saturday and it felt about that hot.) so I'm not suprised that there wasn't much to find at the market.
EDIT: Ah, if it matters (Err... I guess for those who like to know what music people are currently buying >_>) I picked up Eve of Destruction (http://www.amazon.com/Eve-Destruction-Turtles/dp/B000001VAD/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1277175284&sr=8-2) by the Turtles for a buck. I saw "It Was a Very Good Year" on the track listing and figured it was worth it. For some reason this album doesn't have "Happy Together" on it, which I think is odd O_o. I remember hearing a little snippet of them playing live when I was at Disney World in 2006, and I've been meaning to hear some of their stuff.

Six complete Dreamcast games for $1 each today at my church's thrift...
NFL2K
Test Drive 6
Xtreme Sports
World Series Baseball 2K1
Magforce Racing
Monaco Grand Prix
All needed for my DC collection, which I haven't been focusing on for a while.
I passed on a Dreamcast for $6, which looked a bit worn and not worth flipping. I also passed on something I don't see every day. There were five PS2 Slims, priced at $30 each. Each included a controller, power brick, and RF adapter (no composite...). I told a friend and we went back to get one for him, then spent a bit of the afternoon cleaning the velcro off of it. The bottom of the console and BOTH sides of the power brick had 3x5" pieces of velcro stuck on, right where the heat baked them on. Thankfully, it cleaned up well in the end.
There were no memory cards, and the only game I noticed was a copy of Socom, which we borrowed to test the one my friend wanted to buy. Judging by the Dreamcast games I picked up, everything probably came from an after-school center or a dentist or some place where "pick up and play" games are preferable.

I'm sure each GS got in like 1/2 copies. I don't think that BB will get more back in stock especially if they are still sitting on DLC copies.

I highly doubt that WM/BB/Target/TRU/Blockbuster or the smaller game chains would be getting them. They just don't move the PSP stock to care.

My store had 9 when I got the copies that I did. I'm guessing that they had 10 to start (unless the master boxes were in 6's, then it would have been 12).

A TRU that has a high amount of sales in their electronics department will have received two copies with the standard COKeM value replenishment. Stores that don't move the value titles fast enough will either miss this key value shipment or shove it into the stockroom until more of the value assortment sells down. You are correct though, most stores won't receive any unless they burn through their value games, and from what I've heard there won't be any other shipments of the game to TRU.

I saw some N-Gage games in a local Half Price Books the other day. I already owned them so I didn't pick them up but I thought it was interesting to find them there.
I stopped by a GS that's near my work but of of the way of my house and they too had their delisted PC games marked down to 75% off. I snagged Heroes of Might and Magic V: Tribes of the East and Age of Empires III: The War Chiefs expansions for $5 each. At the HPB I saw the N-Gage games in, I found Loki: Heroes of Mythology Collector's Edition for $6 and a compilation pack called Wizard's War Chest which includes the games Etherlords, Etherlords II, and Evil Islands. It was only $4 and had the Cinemaware logo on it so I caved. :p

Last place I remember seeing N-Gage games was about four years ago in a Gamestop, selling for $3 brand new. Around the same time I last saw N64 games there...
For selling 2 million units, its popularity sure didn't translate into finding games years down the line, at least here.

It did have a cool display, though. I don't think any of the ones around here actually had fully functional systems in the displays, just ones that showed demo footage.
I don't remember the taco model being sold for very long, I think Gamestop got really mad when it didn't turn out like it was supposed to. Had the QD been the original model, it would have done better.

Picked this up yesterday locally for FREE!!. It's a Williams Pit Stop (1968). It's an old EM machine, that's a bit scuffed up, but in overall solid shape. It is missing the backglass.
In case anyone is interested, here's a detailed photoset of the machine, and it will contain additional photos as I begin to restore it.

I've been having a very bad week, to say the least. :\
So I found this yesterday.
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2010-06-22a.jpg
It was all taped up but it was heavy so I paid $4 (asking price). I had to leave for most of the day due to an emergency hospital visit. When I got home, I opened it... and it didn't have the stuff inside. It had this.
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2010-06-22b.jpg
Diablo Battle Chest (missing LOD disc), an extra copy of Diablo, most of the Diablo D&D playset pieces. Not bad for $4, Battle Chest will make me like $20.
Today... well.
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j238/foxhack/DP/dp-2010-06-23.jpg
There was one guy who told me he'd bring a bunch of Japanese games this week. So he did. He said he sold most games in Los Angeles but I got a couple anyway: Getsu Fuuma Den and Nekketsu Kouha Kunio Kun, $3 each. He had around 30 games and said I could have them all for $30. I would've accepted on a good day... but this wasn't a good day.
Diablo II Lord of Destruction was $2.
Final Fight Guy was... uh, a rather strange find. The booth owner really dislikes me and gives me super high prices, but he was in a good mood (I suppose lecturing people about Jesus gets him in a good mood or something). I picked it up for relatively cheap. It'll be for sale soon enough.

Frankly, asking for money for this would be pretty bad. :p
Just pay the shipping and it's yours. Just... expect to pay a lot. I can't use media mail and it's expensive to send stuff to your area. :(

This was found at a Goodwill for 5 bucks. I'm really happy with it as its the only AES game I've ever found in the wild.

This awesome POG game came with a bunch of pogs and even some Nintendo and Sega Saturn ones, 2 bucks.
Also found this past month: a laserdisc player with Toy Story and Star Wars for 10 bucks, Mario RPG for 2 bucks, Kid Kleets for 4, and many other Genesis, NES, PS1, N64, and SNES games for cheap.
Keep checking goodwill, they might get more neo geo stuff in!

Big, big haul today (especially for me, I haven't gotten much lately, aside from work)
From work today I got:
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a341/LIUKANGFIGHTER/DSCF3593.jpg
Sonic & Knuckles T-Shirt from Hot Topic (My boss bought it for me, I paid for it) - $9
Rest was all bought with store credit.
Mega Man V Game Boy - $40
Starfox and Super Mario Kart (box and manuals only, no games) - $4
Mario Power Tennis - $13
Shinobi II Game Gear - $8
Eternal Champions poster (folded up in picture) - Free
And my brother found this for me at the thrift store (WOW):
http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a341/LIUKANGFIGHTER/DSCF3592.jpg
All the Sega CDX games and stuff in one package for $25. The loose games were all shoved in the Surgical Strike box. For some reason also instead of the Sega Classics 5-in-1 there was a second copy of Sewer Shark, the not for resale kind.
Talespin Game Boy - .95 cents
Penguin Wars Game Boy - .95
Good haul if I do say so myself.

Damnit Baloo. I need a copy of Penguin Wars. That game is AWESOME. Almost as good as the arcade game. ALSO. Great deal on the Talespin....I could never pay $40 for Mega Man V loose. Even though I love 5.

Ah, I decided that it was worth pictures today. The PSX games are mint & complete, $2.00 each, $1.50 on Morpheus, $0.10 on the empty Pokemon Pearl case (although it has the manual and everything else), and $0.50 on Bambino Boxing. The silver Game Boy Pocket was $1 and even though I have too much of this crap I couldn't resist, it's in nice shape and has the battery cover.
http://i880.photobucket.com/albums/ac5/Ryaan2000/Finds062410-2.jpg
I think I may start a "Ryaan1234's restoration thread" in the repair sub-forum. Anyone interested in me doing this? It'd be a thread documenting the cleaning/fixing up of video game stuff, and it may be a good reference for others. This Bambino handheld game is filthy and has some light rust on it's battery terminals. I'm going to clean it up and get it in good working condition to sit on my shelf with my Coleco and Nintendo tabletops.
Not pictured: A pair of brown 1970s Pong system paddle controllers, by Atari I think for $1.
I found Soundproof: Sound of Tomorrow Today (http://www.amazon.com/Soundproof-Sound-Tomorrow-Ferrante-Teicher/dp/B000VT2N82) in vinyl format, as well as this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rock_Machine_Turns_You_On) album. All I can say is wow, the former of the two albums' sleeve is in 2 pieces. I like it and may be framing it soon.

I did a thread like that, then izarate came in and blew me away you should see what he has fixed / restored. Link :D (http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=136118) I haven’t bumped it because I haven’t been fixing things as of late but I got a pile that I need to get to soon.

This doesn't happen often but sometimes upon giving the rejects/damaged/too old of games back to a trade-in customer they will say they don't want them....to give them to someone else...or to throw them away. So, today I reap the benfits!

A few of these are beat up which is to be expected but that ones I cared about I lucked out on: Lunar Silver Star, Arc Collection (w/all 6 discs), Doom 3 all in good shape, all keepers!

Nice SMS haul. :) The Power Strike alone makes up for the price you paid plus you got some other gems like Phantasy Star, Ys, and Wonder Boy in Monster Land.
I haven't really been on the lookout for any finds because I'm trying to save up to get my cat fixed and my car possibly needs a front end alignment (the steering wheel wobbles and veers to the left). Until I get some disposable income again, I'll just have to live vicariously through other member for a while. ;)

GBC With Some Sort of Light/Magnify (sp?) Thing & Donkey Kong Country In The System - $1
Unadvertised sale on the main street about a block from where I live. Turned on and worked great, IAP was a buck.
2x Xbox, Playstation 2 With Network Adaptor, N64 With 4 Meg Ram Expansion & 9 Games - $5
The games are all pictured in the bottom right, top 3 complete, Gran Turismo 4 is missing the game, Manhunt no manual, inside Mortal Kombat DA was Chrono Cross Disc 1 and the disc only games are Crazy Taxi 3 (Xbox) & Digimon World (PS1). This stuff wasen't treated well as it was in a damp basement near a river to make it worse. Was $5 a system or .50 a game and the guy took $5 for what I picked out.
Sega Genesis Model 1 With Hookups & 2 Controllers - $1 (IAP)
Sonic CD & Sonic Collection (Both PC & Disc Only) - .50
3Xtreme (PS1, No Manual) - .25 (IAP)
Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc - $3 (IAP)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Battle Nexus (GBA) - .50 (IAP)
Silent Hill Origins (PS2, Complete)
Resident Evil 2 (PS1, Disc 1, Demo & Manual)
Resident Evil 3 (PS1, Missing Manual Cover Only)
Team Buddies (PS1 Complete)
$3
Sonic games I think these were .50 each but took .50 for both. The Playstation games I saw at an unadvertised sale as I was going down a main street late in the day that was one of my last sales. No prices so I offered $3 and it was taken.

Hit a yard sale at the local high school and grabbed a few things. I got a the Ys Book One anime disk and the Blazblue Calamity Trigger bonus soundtrack disc for $2 each. I also picked up a production animation cel from one of the animated Ghostbusters episodes for $4. They had a couple Star Wars Ewoks ones for the same price, but they weren't that visually appealing.

I've been out of state for the past week, and I used that opportunity to thrift store shop. Didn't find much, sadly. I can't even remember how many thrifts, flea markets, and resale/consignment shops I've hit in the past week, but only found something worthwhile in a few places. Actraiser ($1.99), Joe & Mac ($4), Super Battleship ($4), Super Mario All-Stars ($1.99), AD&D: Eye of the Beholder ($4), and Dragon Spirit ($1.99) were from various stores in South Louisiana. The Nuon Logitech controllers ($4.95 each), Tron Solar Sailer (free) and Zombie Dinos ($7.95) were picked up from a GameXchange in Longview, TX. The Tron cart didn't have a price, so he just let me have it for nothing, which was pretty damn nice.
http://i414.photobucket.com/albums/pp222/StevePW/travelthriftfinds.jpg
I also picked up a pile of games that my nephew found for me in a Goodwill in Monroe, LA. I told him to pick up all the SNES games but don't bother with sports games. What do I find, but a bunch of NES games and two sports titles. I think the kid's learned his lesson. He'll keep an eye out for me for anything video game related in his town.

Relatively ok day, despite the rain
Bought the MS flight stick and flight sim games for $3 total at a yardsale (I have FSX and have been looking for a decent USB stick)
Then I found the much nicer Wireless Logitech one at a thrift for $6. Ah well. I still needed the expansion pack.
Stack of PC Games $5 all (nothing terribly exciting)
Stack of Xbox Games $1 each
360 Games $3 for the pair
Retrogame Challenge $5 used from EB Games
Mac OSX $4 (this useful anymore? I took a chance on it) Says it's the "family pack" - 5 licences
