I just took a look at your Daily proto-dev-grail-interest finds for today. Which I check daily. And you have posted an auction that I am in desperate need of. It was pointed out to me yesterday night.

Nintendo 64 - 64DD N64 Dev - KMC Development Kit

This isn't just because I want it. I actually need it. I'm trying to boot my 64dd blue disks labelled M3. From what Assembler has told me I need the Partner64 cartridge that is in the auction. I also need the floppy disks for the IPL4rom program that is on them. And I may need the standard black Partner 64.

So I kindly ask that you remove that one listing from your list until after the auction has finished. This may be my only chance within the year to buy such a kit. I've asked many people if they know where to find one and nobody does.

You have probably noticed my topics on here and at Assembler about this project. Many people that may have interest in this auction already are aware of my project. And I get the impression that many of them will back off to give me a chance. Not everyone will be so kind. I'm a college student and this project is very costly. I would rather not have to get a couple more credit cards to finance this project. Some people from Starmen.net have been kind enough to donate money for this purchase. A lot of people check your list daily. Which would bring a lot of unwanted attention to this item. So please if you could remove it from your list temporarily I and many others would GREATLY appreciate it.

Okay I have made a deal with the current high bidder the.locust. He is bidding to a certain point, if he wins he is going to lend me what I need for a little while. I don't want to discuss with you, today it's the birthday of this topic and I have to do a super-search, but you may recognise that this is a special event. This may lead to a new discovery: Mother 3 for 64DD.
And this is not for a collector, but for the community.
You're right about asking not to bid, I don't like it too but I didn't think about the possibility of lending the kit, that's why I've edited a little bit my original post (check it).

I don't want to generate a trend and I will always post all my finds.

I just want everybody to know that this kit may be used for a good cause. I don't think that Stadium Events might bring back to life a sought after unreleased title.


Now to the "educate flee market finders on what they have so they get top dollar when we don't care who gets it". I read it this way: "educate Jollerancher on what he had...". Well, yes, I told him to come to our forums because I thought it would be great for us to know more and to see more.

The seller says you can unlock this phone to be used as a normal cell, this isn't true. Store display models have different hardware/firmware, if you try to flash new firmware to use it as a phone, you'll brick it. If you buy this one, make sure you're getting it to play the games because you'll never be able to make calls from it.
