I can appreciate that, which is why I never really even attempted to manually edit any of the links here to shorten them. With alll the things posted here regularly, trying to edit all of them would be like going up against a lion with a toothpick. Also, the long links are a pain only because they stretch out the width of the page which can make reading long posts or discussions annoying. None of that really happens here, so I just never bothered.

I don't know either. The Sony Dev stuff i've got isn't on this kinda media either. A year or 2 ago there was a seller on ebay who got 2 out of 4 50 disc spindles sold before he was NARU'd. I had a bid in on the third one and it would have been mine had the auction ended. I eventually got a bunch of the discs from a fellow DP'r.

Those discs were used for the final gold submissions only. When the game was ready to be sent to Sony for gold submission testing, they were burned on to those discs. They were incredably expensive, so they were rarely used for other purposes.

They are, I think it's just the light.

I'm colorblind anyway, but 95% should be green.

The other 5% are purple and are made to look like the retail model for use at E3 and other demos.

LOL I clicked on page one and saw all these prototypes and things that weren't there earlier today and was like WOW where did all this come from. so I clicked a bunch of new tabs open and waited untill I was done before I noticed they were all invalid. :roll: :P

That got me thinking NintenDK, so i was clicking through some of the first pages of this thread, and it seems a shame there's no pics?

What if we used a free site like geocities and posted a pic with the link as well, but we'd keep the pics the same size as a ebay pic? So once the auctions long gone (after 3 months) atleast people could still see the item, the link refered to?

It wouldn't have to be for every item that gets posted here, but some of the more rare and illusive items? just an idea. :embarrassed:

There are some rare and illusive items and indeed Its a good idea. I've been thinking of something the same. I've already saved a lot of these pics already and could do that easy enough. Around May sometime soon I'll have my computer up and running and should see where this goes. :bigmac:
