Anyone got anything on this game? I just placed my order for Biker Mice thru J&R like an hour before I found that.... and i'm not seeing anything online mentioning any US releases.

Wow good catch! That definitely could've slipped through the cracks. It's tough to find info on: IGN has it listed as 'unreleased' for the US and a European release date of July 2), and gamespot isn't even listing it.

I'd never heard of that labyrnth game. Wow I''m starting to think the DS is gonna be even more chocked full of obscure releases than even the GBA was as far as handhelds go. As for biker mice from mars, I ordered it last week and it arrived todayl, so it's definetly a US release. It actually looks pretty decent (though I admit I had very low expectations) Sorta looks like an early ps one motorcycle game graphically.

They also had a Sim City with a sticker on the outside of the Cellophane mentioning something about an exclusive Jefferson Memorial building or something like that. Yep, slip of paper. Best Buy also has an "Exclusive" monument. If anyone knows of other retailers advertising monuments, it'd be cool to know.

First of all, this is a really awesome price for these games. Second, this bundle seems to be more than just a random walmart creation. They're labeled UFO family packs, and the sticker has UFO's logo.

Most of those have a GS sell date of 8/2 or 8/3 and haven't rolled over to being available yet.

The DS is a relatively new system, so rarity hasn't really been fully established. If you want a specific title, It'll pop up on ebay pretty easily. As for games that are selling at or above retail, look for

1. Advance Wars DS

(it's OOP with alot of demand, not really rare. Recently the price has been dropping since there is such a large supply.)

2. Monopoly/ Boggle/ Yahtzee / Battleship DS

(published by Atari shortly before they sold the rights to produce video games based on these popular board games. There is a high demand and low supply for this game, and finding a complete copy in the wild is tough since many copies were bought for children and non-hardcore gamers.)

3. Electroplankton

(probably the most desired game as of now. It was supposedly only for sale though Nintendo's online store, although new copies popped up in EB/GS and other locations. A new copy can easily go for double retail price.)

4. Nintendogs: Best Friends Edition

(bundled with the long OOP Nintendogs DS bundle. At one time this was the most valuable retail game for the DS. Recently the price has been dropping as the popularity of Nintendogs fades.)

Honorable Mention: all releases by Summitsoft

(Most of the releases by this company are some of the hardest DS games to find in the wild. Particular mention goes to Texas Hold'em Poker Pack (not to be confused with the common "Texas Hold'em Poker" released by Majesco). Despite how hard they are to find, Summitsoft games don't bring much on Ebay. Your best shot to find Summitsoft games in the wild is your local Military Bx/Px, as AAFES seems to be the only company to stock these games with regularity)

I'm trying to figure what the deal is with this game. I'm sure that it hasn't ever come out. To be sure, I e-mailed Codemasters, and they me told it has been released. They even sent me a list of six retailers that I could buy the game from. Three of those said the game wasn't available. I ordered from one of the others and had my order cancelled. I've ordered from a second retailer, and my order is pending. I still don't think the has been released, it's just odd that the publisher is telling me otherwise.


The trickle of good games keeps coming, but no word of an offical DS lite bundle yet. I promised myself I'd wait for a bundle to come out before I picked one up, like I did for the fat DS, but I'm not sure one will ever come out now.

It's looking like there will be a bundle when Brain Age 2 comes out.

I saw this at GameStop tonight when I got my Dynasty Warriors. Actually picked it up and said bad words about Telegames.... damn them for not releasing those PlayStation games...

We could have the first DS grail on our hands. I'd send them another email and ask for confirmation that it was released in North America. I bet they will probably say yes, but it's worth asking. Tell them you and your insane friend with every DS game have never seen it, and the retailers they suggested don't sell it.

Game Quest Direct told me Rafa Nadal was held back indefinitely by the manufacturer. It certainly seems like this one never made it out, no matter what Codemasters says.

I can also confirm that Drake and Josh is out, saw it last night in K-Mart when i was looking for the CAG listed DS clearance stuff. Which I am having little luck gathering, haven't seen about half the titles yet, but the ones i have picked up were real cheap(around and under $3 each), and some are decent at $10.50. So I am hoping this will be a good cheap way to jumpstart my DS collection. (am at about 40 or so games right now, hah, small amount compared to you guys I know. lol)

Unfortunately They only send the cart, not a fixed cover. I'd be interested if anyone finds a copy of card fighters DS in the wild with a -1 added to the product code on the cover.

Yep, it took about 3-4 weeks from the time I sent out the broken cart to get the fixed one. The package contained a pack of KoF 06-07 cards and the loose fixed cart wrapped in a apology letter.

I put an order in with them, and had my credit card charged up front. After not hearing anything for a couple of weeks, I e-mailed them asking about the staus of my order. After getting no response, I started calling them. It was hard to get in touch with them because it's their home number and they work full time jobs outside of the site. I finally got in touch with them and was told their distributor was sold out. They said if I gave them two more days, they would try to search for it through other means. Five days later, I'm trying to get ahold of them for a refund.

Anyways, the list is up to date on the previous page! It has everything up to and including last week's releases. Except for Operation Vietnam, which I don't think is out yet.

This week we should see Brain Age 2, I Spy: Funhouse, Turn it Around, and The Settlers (another EB/GS exclusive). Post if ya find em!

Operation Vietnam is out. I saw it at Best Buy.

The only place I was able to find it was Gamestop as their lone gutted copy :( (bought it anyway because I'm a whore)

Was it supposed to include any bonus items or anything? Heard a rumor about the inclusion of a POW/MIA tag, but I couldn't confirm (being a gutted copy and all, I'm fortunate they didn't carve up the case's artwork or saw the cart in half).

Just an update on Card Fighers DS: Fixed copies are starting to show up at Amazon and Toys R' Us. I'm not sure if the insert is any different from the original printing.

Cool, I didn't know if the fixed copies would ever make it in to stores. Does anybody know if fixed copies of Bubble Bobble were made available? Or were they only acquired from Codemasters via the cartridge swap?

Demo is probably the wrong word, I'll make sure I change that. It is a DS cartridge with the Twilight Princess trailer that was shown at (I think) E3 2005. The cart was given to everyone (along with its own cardboard sleeve) who attended Nintendo's conference that year. That gives it a run of, what, maybe 5000?

It pops up on ebay every now and again. If you find one, it'll probably run you about $150.

Yeah all that DS Twilight Pricess cart is just a video of the inital Zelda trailer. I think 5k is high, it was probably closer to 1 or 2 K, and it was at E3 05.


Most of this weeks releases are out on the shelves. I saw Jam Session, Worms Armageddon 2, Drawn to Life at GS today.

I don't know if you want to add it to the list, but looking at IGN TGS preview of Professor Layton (http://uk.ds.ign.com/articles/821/821958p1.html) they mention about a demo cartridge being handed out. I'm guessing that these were kept & might appear on eBay one day. :)

Well if its being handed out at TGS it'll be a Japanese labeled demo not a -USA demo so keep that in mind if your going after them.

Just checked TRU's website. They're gonna have a special Pokemon download next Saturday from 12-3 PM. They're also giving $5 off DS games with the download.

I guess this means that there is gonna be another special kiosk cart out there. Has a Animal Crossing DS download cart made it's way to collector's hands yet?

Not that i've seen and i've been looking for DS demo carts pretty hard for the last 3 or 4 months.

I did get a lovely email from WalMart yesterday about ChibiRobo for the DS. Remember kiddies that Chibi Robo is a WalMart exclusive now. Aparently it's been pushed back (site says 10/2) and that correlates to the fact that they are going to try and fufill my order within the next 10 days, and if they can't then they will cancel it (10/2 is day 10). I don't know what to make of the email personally.

Interesting. You should try to find out if it is a different ROM, has a paper slip with a code included, or has a save preloaded.

In the wild? For sure, very much so. On Ebay? There is almost always at least one in an ebay store. There may not be many copies of this title, but the supply is beating out demand for now.
