Who has a complete US DS collection? User updated towards end of thread

Yeah, but the amount of shovelware just piling on the system is ridiculous throughout the rest of the year as well, and also, I'm sure it will surpass the PS1.

Either way, once I realized that my collection was "1 good game to 10 crap shovelware games", I decided I had enough and have started the wheels in motion to sell off everything. I loved collecting them, but when I won't play 95% of them and all they will do is decrease in value I had to make the right choice.

My collecting theory is pretty simple, I don't buy crap/shovelware, no matter if it's for the NES or DS. I base my collecting decisions on a few factors: game popularity, value, scarcity, or uniqueness. I find it makes for a smaller, better collection.

Below is the complete US release list (partially in alphabetical order but many are not since I added to this list after the fact) I've broken it down into games I own and games I do not own, but its the complete list so other users can take the list and divide the games in the same way with what they own and do not own.

According to our awesome script in #vbender (which pulls from IGN or something) says 9/16... So I say sell it!

Yeah, I dunno. Best Buy is stupid when it comes to stuff like that. I've brought stuff like this up before, and the response is always 'hold it until the date it says, regardless of who is selling it now.'

Not like it's going to be a huge seller or anything, heh.

Yeah, every game at GameStop is sellable when we receive it, unless it is street dated. any item that is street dated is notated in our computers so that we know to hold them. example: A game may say it should arrive on the 10th, but the game is street dated for the 14th, so it will say "S/D xx/14" at the end of the title.

Agetec sent out a press release on 09/02/08 claiming it was released, but they aren't selling it on their site (which almost never happens if a game is actually out) and I can't find a single retailer which is even listing it anymore. Similarly, not a single US copy on Ebay.

Since Joedick was nice enough to shoot me a copy of Touch Darts, I've noticed that its actually a -CAN release and though the US website lists it, they won't sell it. The -CAN spine also mirrors the PAL region games with the triangle in the corner. I'll email AgeTec and see what they say.

It seems that they've also pulled L.O.L. off the site as well, glad I snagged you a copy. **Edit** I found it in the store, but I had to go through all the titles to get it, when searching the site for LOL I got nothing. Either way, this one will be a rarity down the line.**

I picked up a copy of Touch Darts as well and I would agree that it appears to have been a Canada only release. The Walmarts here in the US didn't get it and the only three places I know of in Canada that have it are Walmart, EB/Gamestop and one independent distributor.
I'm also wondering if Ubisoft is ever going to release Curling which was supposed to be another Canada exclusive but is now several months late.
