Hello everyone!! My name is Chris.
I am a long time gamer who for some reason never though of video games as collectable. Boy was I wrong. Now I am both, but will always be a gamer first.
After reading these boards for the better part of a few months there is certainly a lot for me to learn, but I am looking forward to it. Almost every post new or old is worth reading. Not many forums you can say that about.
My gaming interests: are RPGs (Action, Traditional, and Strategy), 2D Figthers, 2D/3D platformers, sports sims and stealth action games. Not necessarily in that order.
Anyway, I am glad to be here and looking forward to chatting it up with all of you.

Hello my name is Sarah and I'm 25 and currently live in West Virginia. Once upon a time I was a collector of fine vintage gaming systems until my love at the time left and left with the Intellivision, the Sega Master system, the Nintendo and N64.
I literally Stumbled Upon these forums (www.stumbleupon.com)
I enjoy first person shooters but I'm more of voyeur.
I'm currently trying to build up my 3DO and Sega collections and trying to get a handle on the Atari collection.
I'm an artist disguised as a Massage Therapist just starting my career and I plan on one day getting my degree in art education so I can one day teach.
I am now the proud owner of an Atari 2600 Jr, a 7800, a Sega (gen3 - the tiny one), a 3DO, XBOX, XBOX 360.
I have a sick sense of humor and a false sense of modesty will try to hold my tongue if nothing else.

Hi everyone!
I've been to this site many times over the years, but just decided to join the forums. I probably won't post much as there usually isn't anything I can add that hasn't been said before.
I've been a game player since the paddle game days. Back in '82 my brother bought a 5200 with his paper route money, and soon after lost interest in videogaming, so the system became mine. Somehow Miner 2049er, Pitfall 2, Star Raiders and Defender, among others continued to hold my interest right on through the NES days. Throughout that era other kids around the neighborhood had the Intellevision, ColecoVision, Vectrex, SMS, and NES, so I never missed out on any of the best games. The 5200 was sold at a garage sale sometime in the summer of '89, and I put that money towards a Sega Genesis. Most of my Genesis library was sold to purchase a SegaCD, and so on.
It wasn't until the late 90's that I became a true blooded collector. While living in Arizona without any videogame consoles, I played a demo of Panzer Dragoon Zwei at a department store and was hooked. On rails shooters have been a favorite of mine since Space Harrier, but nothing was of interest since StarFox. Anyhow, I found a Saturn lot in the newspaper for $200 (w/ like all the good games at the time) and gaming fever has been in full effect since then. I like to think at this point I have a rather robust library of worthwhile games for the following systems: Atari 5200 (multi cart + originals), Master System, PC-Engine (HuCard and CD), Genesis/Mega Drive, Sega CD, SNES/SFC, Saturn, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, PS2/PSX, Gamecube, Game Gear, Lynx, Game Boy Advance, and WonderSwan.
In just the past few years I've taken an interest in collecting different controllers that were released over the years. Paddle controllers, trackballs, joysticks, etc. That may be my one area of holding uncommon knowledge, if you've got a question about a controller hit me up, I'd be glad to track down the answer with you.
This has gotten rather long (will probably be my longest post ever!).
Cheers to all who enjoy a good game!

My name's Duane, I'm 35, and I live in Ohio. I'm a network admin/desktop support/all around computer guy by day. I've been a casual to intermediate gamer for most of my life, and a collector for the past few years.
First experience with video games goes back to the mid to late 70's...some pong/skeet shooting variants at friends' houses, and I had a cool uncle that had a 2600 and a weird Atari pong/pinball machine. Got a Sears Super Video Arcade (Intellivision) for xmas around 79 or 80, a NES Power Set in the mid 80's, and bought my own Genesis when it first came out. Also had a Radio Shack Color Computer II that was used for a lot of gaming. I think we had 4 cartridges for it lol.
As far as newer stuff, I have a PS2, a PS, and a GC with a handful of games for each. (No current gen systems yet...price point is just too ridiculous for me.) I play them every once in a while but I also have been more of a retro collector/scrounger lately. I've picked up a ton of classic systems just at Goodwill this year...a Dreamcast, at least two Genesises, a couple SNESes and NESes, an N64, a 2600, and on and on. Also dozens of cartridges, especially Genesis. Some stuff l've added to the collection (like the DC) while other stuff I've either sold, traded, given to friends, etc. That's actually how I found the forums, searching for information about some Genesis stuff I picked up at GW.
Interesting, or not so interesting note, I played in the Nintendo Campus Challenge when it stopped at my school in November or December 1990. I came in second, won 100 bucks, and I might have a couple T-shirts and plastic cups stashed away somewhere. Also got paid 8 bucks and hour for 2 hours for helping the Nintendo folks tear everything down and load it into the truck afterward.
But enough about me. Do you come here often? ;)

Hello everyone. Glad to be a part of these forums. I've been lurking for a couple of weeks, ever since my SNES started acting up. I've always enjoyed playing video games. I never had a console until Christmas of '99 when my parents got us a Nintendo 64. By then I was already a Sophomore in high school. I guess they always thought we would go brain dead. We had a computer when I was younger so I did enjoy PC games like Wolfenstein, which kept me entertained for hours upon hours. I've even downloaded an emulator (Little John Player) to my treo 680 for snes, gb, sega, sms, and nes.
At about March of 2007 my wife stumbled upon her SNES at her parent's house that had been sitting on the top shelf of her closet, under some blankets. It wasn't dusty at all, just yellow. She said she only played it about 2 times when she first got it because she didn't know how to hook it up. She assumed it was broken or it needed another cable. We took it down and I called up a cousin of mine to let me borrow some games. We got hoome and I showed her how to plug it in properly and popped in Super Mario World. It worked on first try. Fast forward to December, I had some cousins over for some gaming and pizza. We try out Top Gear and pass a couple of levels. I noticed that the graphics would slow down but the sound and gameplay would still go on. Also on Madden I can't see the score at all times and the time and number are incorrect at times. NBA Jam is impossible to play because you can't even shoot the ball. You just run around with it. This problem with the SNES brought me here and I'm kind of glad it did, but I want my SNES fixed. I'm sure someone on these forums is more than capable of diagnosing my problem. Thanks for the forum.
Hello, Richard, 26 and from England.

i'm into collecting games that are R8 and above, preferably unusual or unique titles. my first notable rarity was Chase the Chuck Wagon, which i turned into a medallion and still wear frequently. i hope to eventually amass a modest collection of holy grails to impress the ladies. oh and i design games in my spare time. i'll take that seriously some day.

Hi my names Mike. I'm from Ohio. I'm 34 years old. My first system was the Atari 5200. I currently own a ps1, ps2 and a wii. I want to get a ps3 but its to expensive. I enjoy playing JRPGs.
I would like to say hello, and introduce myself. My name is Rob, otherwise known online as MvM. I have been playing video games ever since I was able to hold a controller, and haven't stopped since.
I am a major Sega fan, and I am currently working on completing my collection of USA released Dreamcast games. I still have a long way to go.....lol
I am also a huge fan of old school NES, and I also have a PS1, PS2, XBOX, Game Cube, Gameboy Advance, SNES, and my Dreamcast.
I have recently dove more into collecting to go along with my gaming, and that's what brought me here to this site. I was looking up information on some of my PS1 games (SLUS numbers actually), and I stumbled across these forums. I have to say that this site is a treasure trove of information for gamers and collectors, and I am glad to be here. :)
I am also a hardworking single father of a terrific 5 year old, who is also trying his hand at video games. Whew!........lol
Sorry for the long post here. Anyways, thanks for letting me be here, and I look forward to getting into great conversations with all of you fellow gamers and collectors!

Hi Everybody! I'm Art and my situation is a little different. I've been collecting classic stuff casually for about 7 years. Got started once I realized I could buy tons of stuff for a fraction of what it cost when I was a kid. Ended up with dozens of consoles and accessories and hundreds of games. I was just collecting to gather stuff and not really playing.
Got hooked on World of Warcraft and finaly got a 360. I decided to sell-off all the stuff I hadn't played in the past year. I've always known about DP but was never a serious vintage collector. Now I'm just visiting your site to see what some of my stuff might be worth. I might be posting some stuff for sale once I pass my 10 day probationary period.
I grew up on RPG's, also enjoy RTS and racing games. Not much for sports games or shooters, which leaves me high and dry in most of today's gaming climate.

I'm new here (at least as a registered user) so an introduction is in order.
I'm a 27 year-old Dane working in a record store trying to rack up enough cash to feed my retro addiction. I have too many fond memories of many childhood years spent gaming to let it go.
So, what am I doing here? Basically just hanging out and enjoying the discussions but also looking for other people willing to trade/sell games and other retro goodness that I'm missing. Hey, any other Danes around? :D
My primary focus when looking for games and systems are NES, SNES, C64 and Amiga but hey, you're never too old to add another system to the collection! :D
Enough babbling already. I'm looking forward to taking part of the forums, thanks for letting me in ;)
The name's OTEM, from England. I am only a casual collector and hunt games that I want to play but somehow overlooked in the past (at the moment, X-BOX games). I also collect vinyl. I play on average one night a week for about 4 hours, or whenever I can - not often, but I can still hold my own when it comes to gaming chit-chat.
I am almost 20 and I am a student.

Ok, so I have been reading the posts on here for a couple of months and I finally decided to join. I met swlovinist from a craigslist ad and he told me about this forum. Commodore Amiga 500
Commodore Amiga cd32(with Sx-1)

hello all,
i thought i would join this forum, since i have only ONE person to play Nintendo with, and all we ever play together is RBI Baseball and Tecmo Super Bowl. As you may guess, I am primarily here for NES reasons, but I do enjoy SNES and Genesis as well. I have tried/still try to get into modern consoles, but I have accepted that I will never get my money's worth out of them...so I try not to buy them.
Anyhow, I am 26 and am interested in hearing about how people find NES games other than eBay and craigslist. A few pawn shops here in Chicago sell them, but they usually have a very poor selection. Anyways, since everyone else seems to do it, here's what I own:
Nintendo (~300 games. I used to have ~400 but I sold off a lot of the truly horrible ones)
Super Nintendo
Genesis
Sega CD
PSOne (that was a waste of fifty bucks)
PS2 (got it for free from my roommate)
GBA Micro
In the past, I owned the following at one point or another:
Virtual Boy
N64
Gamecube
Gameboy
Gameboy Pocket
Gameboy Color
Gameboy Advance SP
Game Gear
Sega Master System
32 X
Sega Saturn
Sega Dreamcast
Atari 2600

Hello All - while looking for some info about Sharp X68000 I have stumbled on this forum and decided to join in as it seems to be anice and lively community.
I am 35, living in Croatia. Have been collecting vintage computers for a while, which culminated in the opening of PEEK&POKE (http://www.peekpoke.hr) museum/club late last year. If you ever find youself in the vicinity make sure you stop by! :)
At the moment we are setting up a "game room" featuring a lot of old game consoles.
I'm Dennis from New Hampshire (Massachusetts, originally), and I'm 23. I found the forums a while back, though I'm not quite sure exactly where or when. Some of my favorite games include:
Asheron's Call
Castlevania (series)
Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy (series)
Ico
Legend of Zelda (series)
Metal Gear Solid (series)
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
Snatcher
Super Mario World
Suikoden (series)
I currently own a Super NES, Gameboy Color, Game Gear, Nintendo 64, Sega Saturn, PlayStation, Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, Gamecube, Xbox, DS Lite, Wii and PS3 (and a lot of emulation on the side ;)). My gaming collection began as a wee child with the Atari 2600 and NES, and grew steadily from there. I'm currently looking for a job so that I can proceed to buy more games for said systems, though it's slow going at the moment unfortunately.
I look forward to being part of the community, as it's a refreshing change from the system wars and fanboy drivel of the IGN boards which I usually frequent.

02-04-2008, 11:49 AM
My name is Joel, but you can call me Artican. ^_^
I live in Greenbrier, AR, which is just north of Conway.
I found these forums after checking out the publisher of the rarity guide I recieved with my Generation Nex.
I like so many games that listing just a few would be nearly impossible.
I am primarily an NES collector, though I buy for all my systems. I also am a system collector, and am about to branch out into some computer models (C64, Amiga, etc.)
In "real life", I am a 24 year-old secretary with a government agency.
I started collecting around '97, when $10 used NES games became more frequent, and I discovered some used gaming stores. The NES that started this renaissance was Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, which I paid $15 for at a video store. Since then, it's been onward and upward.

Hello, my name is Randy. I'm a 39 yr old truck driver residing in Colorado and have been playing video games since I was a kid. I discovered this site while searching for rarity guides online.
I had an extensive PS2 collection going when I happened upon an old Sega cartidge for Road Rash 2 in a bargain bin for 5 bucks about a year ago. Since then my quest to re-collect all my old systems and games quickly turned into an expensive (but fun) obsession.
I currently have 14 differant systems, most complete in the box, and over 450 games spread between them, most cib as well. I'm quickly running out of room for all this stuff, but am not letting that slow me down too much. There is so much more out there it is unreal.

Hi all, my name is Al and I live in the UK. I can't recall how I found the forums as it was some time ago. I've been playing and to a lesser extent collecting games for over 30 years now (I'm getting on a bit LOL).
My favorite games are rpgs or shoot em ups, I also like playing first person shooters on the Pc. Favorite systems are the Snes and the Pc Engine.
I've kept quite a lot of systems over the years such as Intellivision, NES, Mega Drive, Master System etc but I don't collect for them anymore. These days I concentrate on sealed games, mostly Playstation Rpgs which is rather an expensive hobby :)
Most weekends are spent going around a few car boot sales looking for games. As anyone here from the UK will know, you never know what you will find.
Cheers,
Al

Hey, my name is Brian and I reside in beautiful Minnesota, the Land of 10,000 Lakes. I found the forums in search of information on games on older systems. I currently own a Playstation 2, SNES, N64, Genesis, Mastersystem and an Atari 7800. I also have about a half dozen Plug-N-Plays and an old Pong system from the late 70's. Absolutely love classic gaming and hope to find out more about older systems and meet some cool people along the way. If I was to have a "videogame" dream come true, it would probably be owning an arcade cabinet. I love classic arcade games.

Hello, everybody. I'm 25 years old in Illinois. I've been playing video games since I got my Sega Genesis when I was about 9 or 10. One of the first games I got was Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and to this day I'm still a Sonic fan.
I currently own a Sega Genesis and Dreamcast, an NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube and Wii, Sony PlayStation 1 and 2, XBOX and XBOX 360, as well as Game Boy Advance, DS and PSP. I don't have many games for my older systems yet, but I plan on getting more.

Howdy, the name is Frank.
I live in Medford Lakes, NJ aka the town confined inside medford, but we have to be stubborn and have our own community because we are difficultvill USA.
DKtheArcadeRat (Dave Kushina) is a good friend of mine and he told me about this site.
I have so many favorite games it is hard to choose from so I'll tell you one from each of my systems:
NES-Strider
PSone-Tekken 3
Xbox-Time splitters future perfect
Gamecube-Marvel Nemesis Rise of the Imperfects
PS2-Shadow of the colossus
DS-Phoenix Wright
GBA-Fzero
GBC-Pokemon BLue
Wii-No More Heroes
Psp-Star wars battle front renegade squdren
My systems are all listed above
other things:
I'm a huge movie fanatic. I don't like to brag but if you are stumped on a movie tell me about a scene and an actor in the movie and I will tell you the title. My favorite movies are Boondock Saints and the Punisher w/ Tom Jane.
I love anime. It is a great media to watch. I'll watch any anime as long as it is not bobobo-bo-bobobo which just sucks.
I play any sport. I'm diverse. I'm a jack of all trades when it comes to playing sports, but I'm not saying that I'm always good. The two sports I devote time to are Soccer and Lacrosse.
I don't think I'm missing anything else, so I'll talk later and I usually show up at Next Level Video games in Blackwood in Today's Plaza on 1031 Little Glouster Town Rd. you can also go to NLVideogames.com
WAIT!
a few more things, sorry...
My favorite video game character is Captain Falcon as you can tell by my name and avatar. I am also a huge Oakland Raiders fan don't ask why.

Greets!
My name is Pete. I've lurked around DP for quite some time (mostly interested in the Easter Egg section) but I've found myself browsing the forums lately. So I felt I should make myself known to the community.
I'm a music teacher in Delaware. I teach music to elementary students, grade 1-5. Hence the nickname 'DEteacher'. I might have to change my nickname, though. My family is planning a move to NH, hopefully by the end of the summer.
My only hobby is my Atari 2600 collection. My collection is hovering around 200 loose carts. Other than my trusty heavy-sixer, the only other console I own (and have ever owned) is a Wii. I've never had the desire to own another console until the Wii came along. :) I also own a DS and a PSP, but I don't really count them as 'consoles.' ;)
Well, that's enough rambling from me. I look forward to chatting with you folks. Heck, hopefully I'll make it up to the DP store in the near future. :)

What's up guys?
I'm Mike, a 19-year old college student from Long Island. I've lurked around here for a while and I figured it was time to finally start posting. I wouldn't really say I'm a collector per se, but I have a ton of games (over 1000 at the moment, though I'm downsizing a bit) and an innate desire to own every game I feel is worth playing on a particular console. Of course, I don't have nearly enough time to play them all!
My favorite games include Earthbound, Mother 3, Chrono Trigger, the Phoenix Wright series, the Mega Man series, and far too many more to list here.
Looking forward to chatting with you folks. :)

Hi guys,
I am 41 years old and live in Hampshire, UK.
I am active in the BenHeck forum and a "Portablizer Extrordinaire" there. I stumbled on this forum when I noticed a fellow modder, Life of Brian, was here.
I like modding and hacking old console systems, you can see my work on the BenHeck forum.
I will be looking at this site in more detail when I get some time.

Hi everyone, My name is Steve, I'm 26 and live in Kearny, NJ. I found this place by stopping by the Digital Press store. I drove by it by accident on thursday. I saw video games on the sign and it wasn't gamestop or Eb games so i wanted to check it out ASAP. I made a quick U-turn, but it was only 9:30am so it wasn't open yet. I must have stared in throught the window for like 10 min. I could not wait to get out of work so that i could come back and get to go inside. This place is better then I thought. I have been starting to collect older games, mainly NES and SNES for a few months now, but now that I have a store very close to me with this and more I know i am going to be spending a lot of $$$ there. I spent $100 just on NES games and a price guide. As for a real job I work in Fairfield NJ at Raymour & Flanigan as the warehouse Mgr.

Hi everybody!
My name is Tony, I'm 29 and live in Oak Lawn IL, Found this site while looking for reviews of classic games. First game system was an Intellivision back in 1984. I was late jumping on the Nintendo Bandwagon, didn't get an NES till 1989, and since then I've been a die hard gamer. I just started collecting old games and systems that I missed out on when I was younger.

Long overdue, I know:
My name is Chris, I currently live in Fl. I was practically born with an NES controller in my hand. It started with the old Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt double cart for me and it doesn't look like it's ever going to stop. I'm hooked, what can I say. You'll find me mostly in Off-Topic & in Buying & Selling, which has gone pretty well for me so far. I have a fairly humble collection of PSOne & PS2 games, as well as a few Super Famicom, SNES, Genesis, Gameboy, Gameboy Advance, DS, Dreamcast, and Nintendo 64 games. I search for mostly obscure games or games that I never got to play for one reason or another. I also collect videogame related stuff; mostly action figures or soundtracks.
In the "real" world I'm an assistant manager of a high-end retail store who's name I will not mention for the sake of protecting the guilty...I mean innocent, tee hee hee. I also am persuing a music career which I will not shamelessy plug by telling you to click the following link http://www.myspace.com/embraceaudio and let me know what you think, maybe add me. Nope, not gonna do that! Other than that I'm mostly random and I will do things that will make you scratch your head, but I'm harmless. Like that old hobo that talks to himself on the corner of your block.
Some of my faves:
Streets Of Rage 2
Metal Gear Solid
Super Mario Bros.3
Metroid
Silent Hill
Resident Evil 2
MTV Music Generator
Final Fantasy VI
Street Fighter Alpha 3
Super Smash Bros.
Valis 3
Gitaroo Man
Parappa The Rapper
Amplitude
Frequency
I could go on, but it's your turn!

Hello folks. First of all I'd like to say that I'm happy to see such a lively retro-gaming focused forum to exist. Believe me, I've seen a plenty of those dead and long forgotten sites. It sure is strange how great sites like this are usually found by accident; I was looking some information about Edgeemu.com and stumbled upon... here. I felt instantly at home and got myself in the bandwagon.
Sooo... I guess I'd better tell you guys something about myself before you think I'm getting totally off topic and get my precious post deleted. I'm a student from Finland, and I just love those old SNES games, predominantly J-RPG's. Hmm, what else... I enjoy music in most of its forms and I play guitar in a band.
Time will tell what this community can offer for me, and more importantly what I can offer to you guys. ;)

Hello! My name is Anthony and I am from Chicago, IL USA. I found these forums through Sean Kelly's video game store (VIDEO GAMES ETC.) here in Norridge, IL. My first video game console was a SEARS TELEGAMES system. Although I lost that system in a flood years ago, I was lucky enough to find one recently at a flea market and purchase it. The working systems I own are as follows: Atari 2600/Sears Telegames, Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Nintendo DS, NES, SNES, N64, GameCube, Nintendo Wii, Sega Master System, Genesis, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, PSP, TurboGrafx-16/CD, Xbox, and Xbox 360.
I started seriously collecting games when I was searching for an old Sega Master System and carts. I had originally shunned the system when I was a kid (big NES fan) and now I wanted to play the games my neighbor (big SMS fan) had enjoyed back when we were young. After that I started collecting for all my retro systems (I never traded or sold any of my old stuff!).
My favorite genre is 2D fighters. My all time favorite fighting game is CAPCOM VS SNK 2. I do love RPGs as well but haven't had the time to really sit down with one. My largest collection is probably for my NES, of which I have hundreds (someday I'll count!). I hope to collect the entire US NES library! We shall see.
When I'm not playing video games I am a retail manager at TARGET. I also enjoy weight training and fitness. Avid gym rat here. Who says video gamers can't be well built looking guys? LOL!

hi I'm Drakon. I'm located in Toronto Canada. I've been a hardcore gamer since 1989. I'm 27 years old. I collect my favourite games as a hobby. My collection is more about quality than quantity (although usually I only care about having the carts and systems and not the boxes/manuels)

I'm John. I'm sick of gaming forums with biased fanboys and people that don't appreciate my sarcastic and off kilter sense of humor. That is to say nobody really wants to take time and think about what it is I'm trying to say.
I'm 26, From Rhode Island, I have an anxiety disorder (that's been diagnosed as like EVERYTHING BUT) and I loveith the Old School. I've been a gamer since before I could walk weaned on an Old Radio shack computer and then a Tandy before I got my first console a Sega Master System then an NES, then I actually bought my first console an SNES which I still have and Use to this day.
I'm a Sega Nut and love everything Sega's done before the Fall (IE the Sammy Merger) I'm also a Fighting game and Shmup nut.
Right now I'm playing,
Nights On PS2
Rock Band
Lost Oddessy
REZ HD
Trigger Heart

I had the old NES system for years until last one where the system finally just died :(
Right now I've got a PS3 and a Wii (which I lucked out on getting) and plan to get an X-Box :rocker:
Wonderful. The first time I've missed a welcome thread; I'm used to just posting in the general chat, whatever it may be.
Hiya. Name's Tep, and I've been messing with games and the words "Game Over" since I was about 3. This was very late to gaming, considering I started off with Super Mario Bros 3 in 1996. (!) I'm 14, by the way. Not sure if that makes me "hardcore".

Hello my name is Chris and I live in Brookfield, Wisconsin
I found the Room of Doom website a long time ago and I checked this part out a few days ago when I was able to get my hands on a copy of Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt for the NES. I know I'm late but I never really considered it.
My favorite games are the ones that remind me of my childhood (lack there of) So I decided to start and collect and go to almost any place I can in order to start in my mind a baby collection and grow from there.
I was getting games from only two really and that was a PSOne and PS2 but now I'm trying to get games and systems NES/SNES/Atari/N64/GB/GBC well just about every system before this new modern era.
I work at a market research company on the weekends (we don't sell you anything, people always ask me that)
I started a collection when I was growing up of Atari games and comic books (I was only 8 and I had boxes and boxes full of stuff that I could collect) but when my brother sold everything to buy whatever we wanted I lost faith. Not anymore, I'm more determined than ever before to start collecting. If anyone wants to see exactly what I have please check out my collection here:

Hi,
I am Frank, I live in the south of Germany. I am working as a product manager in pharmaceutical business and I collect homecomputers and videogames for years (OldBits homepage since 1998).
I own a lot of obscure retro systems ;) and I especially love original japanese units like X68000, FM-Towns, X1, NEC PC98 ... and the games as well.
http://www.oldbits.de/collection.htm
The collection consists of roundabout 600 different systems and "some" games from all over the world.
And I think this not the end ...

My favorite game of all time is Metroid Prime. I played it so many times and interesting fact: I got my name in Nintendo Power for one of the fastest speed runs (now it is no good at all, but I was pretty happy).

I love online gaming such as World of Warcraft (70 warrior black temple w00 w00t) My girlfriend Cyndi is a gamer just like me so its good to be with someone you can share the same interests in.
