Why does he even think people would be willing to pay 10X what something is worth just b/c he wants the money to buy something that costs that amount? Am I missing something here? :? I somehow don't think real life is like that at all. I mean, if it was, I've got an old shoe I'd like to get $150 for so I can finally get a CIB copy of Panzer Dragoon Saga. PLEASE!!

I think the real question here is why he wants a boat to go ice-fishing. Isn't one of the main aspects of ice-fishing the fact that you're sitting on the ice while doing it?

At about $5 a game, it seems almost reasonable, though I still wouldn't pay that much. Plus he counts The Legend of Zelda four times:
...
Link
Link (gold)
...
The Legend of Zelda

That's just plain deceitful.

Plus he counts The Legend of Zelda four times:
He probably has a few copies of it.
There's a couple of rarer games too, I wouldn't buy the lot just to get them but it's really not a rip off. The games should be sold individually to get that much for them though.
Thunder & Lightning
Trolls on Treasure Island

I picked up that one for $2 a month or so ago. Didn't know it was a rarer title. Looks kind like Arkanoid.

It's listed as an R5 so it's a bit rare(not too much), I don't think I've come across a copy yet. It's not really valuable or anything, that's why I wouldn't have bought the bulk lot. It looks kind of neat though.

Factory Sealed Fox Hunt on Ebay! (http://cgi.ebay.com/Fox-Hunt-FACTORY-SEALED-EXTREMELY-RARE-PS1-NEW_W0QQitemZ230368973422QQcmdZViewItemQQptZVideo_ Games_Games?hash=item35a30f926e)
FOX HUNT Playstation 1
Up for grabs is a Brand New, Factory Sealed w/ the Official Playstation security seal on top! This game is one of the rarest Playstation games ever released. I've aquired this game several years ago from a seller here on ebay. It's sad to see this one go but maybe a collector would like to have this one of a kind gem.
I removed the plastic wrap because it was torn in different places and virtually impossible to store without tearing it more. It didnt look that great with it. I have it inside a protective cellophane cover ever since. Taking pictures of it was actually the most time i spent with it outside of the plastic, its kept in a drawer tucked away safely for many years. The security seal is still intact.
Wait, so you unwrapped it, then now your selling it as sealed? I don't think it's sealed. Sure it may still have the security sticker but would the PS2 games I had that still had a intact sticker be sealed? I still played them just never broke the tag...
Also this price of 1,499.98$ is pretty high..

$400 for an Xbox kiosk with a console, imo, is only slightly unreasonable. What makes this ad post-worthy is how much it hurt my head to read it *_*. It was bad enough to wade through the 3rd grade spelling ability rendered in ALL CAPS, but then having to turn my head sideways to see the pictures in the correct orientation because this idiot can't figure out how to do that himself was the real coup de grace.
He also seems awful proud of the fact that he's selling it "WITHOUT THE TV".

Nothing too out of the ordinary, really just a garden variety CL flipper sniffing for bargains. But I always get a laugh out of that self-defeating sales approach summed up as "I really, really want your stuff, but it's junk, so don't expect me to pay you a lot. In fact you're probably better off if you just give it it me for free." People like this not only deserve to be buried one day in a casket made of melted-down Madden `96 carts, but they should have no problem supplying the raw material for the possibility of such a funeral.
Also, when I read "old...broken video game counsels", am I the only one who thinks of Jack Thompson? :?

Dude wants someone to "modd" his PS3 and 360 with bigger hard drives but to do it in such a way so that he won't be banned from PSN or Live. :? There were one million consoles banned from Live last month and yet this twit thinks by waving some unspecified amount of cash in the air he can find someone who knows how to prevent his console from being another statistic.

I really don't find the appeal of collecting factory sealed games. It's not something I do intentionally.

Some titles, he's insane. Other titles, he's being fair. Since there is a VGA (yech) graded title in there, it's likely he won't let anything go for less than market value or higher.

He has some games I want for the NES for $20 apiece, which is around what it would go for in mint complete condition (mostly). Ergo, I would open them and play them. :)

The good thing about these people who do sell common crap for outrageous prices is they also offer rare crap for lower then Ebay prices.
I remember when I picked up my complete mint Rob the Robot with Gyro *WARNING TO NOT PUT IN MOUTH* cards for $20 the lady also had many other things out in the open that were crazy expensive. She had a common 2600 for $150 /no games and a couple of toasters for $60. This was back when my dad was still alive so Gamestop hadn't even started trading/selling retro. She also had a lot of SMS and TG16 games I needed that were not over where the price point would be for uncommon games.
If you EVER find someone selling at a Flea market or other swap-meet type market who has a boxed NES, c64, or 2600 for Ebay prices make sure to ask if they have anything else.
Many of these people have had very rare carts in the past and have no idea of there real worth. Sure they will Sell SNES-FF3 for $$$ but if the games suck and the people didn't put them on Ebay five years ago you'll get a deal. Anyone selling a boxed 2600 for over $100 locally will probably have carts priced higher and will have far more uncommon stock longer.

well, i just had a craiglist experence not to long ago i need to vent about.
so i have an apple IIGS but i've been looking for a matching RGB GS monitor for ages. of course ebay has them time to time for ridiculas prices plus shipping (which is obviously quite a bit for a monitor). anyways i check craislist and find a listing for a complete apple IIGS system + monitor for $25. so i get all excited and email the guy about it and he promptly emails me back thats its still avalible. i immediatly send him back an emailing telling him clearly that i can pick it up today (it was monday) or because i live 2 hours away and work if today was not good could i pick it up thursday. well a day goes by, then anouther and no reply. so i email him again and again and finally he replies
"sorry but the computer is already sold, you stated you lived several hours away and did not know when you could pick it up so i sold it to someone else"
BULLSHIT!, i told the guy i could pick it up that very day i first emailed him and very clearly stated that if that wasn't ok i could pick it up in 3 days which i really don't think is that long a time. acually i've had craigslist people hold things 2 weeks for me with no problem. now thats not acually what i'm upset about since hes the sellar and i understand its his perogitive if hes willing to hold something even for a short period of time. anyways...thats not the kicker. guess what shows up a week later on craigslist a short distance away from where the origional was sold...coincidence?

It must be because it's closer to Christmas that all the prices are higher than usual, normally I don't find so many listings like this. I won't quote this one because you need to see the picture too, but this person is selling a Genesis model 2 with a Sega CD model 2 for $150. It's not a CDX or an X'Eye, just the most common version you can find for this setup.

Old School Nintendo - NES - $90
"I have the original Nintendo NES system. The system is in perfect working shape. It does not have a crack or scratch on the whole system and plays games perfect every time. It comes with the NES system and the cord to hook it to the TV. Power Cord. Two regular controllers. Gun for Duck Hunt. And one game, Super Mario Bros/Duck Hunt game. I bought this 2 years ago for $100. I thought I could get into again, but PS3 has ruined me, I just can't justify playing this often. So I have used it maybe 5 times in the last 2 years. This comes in perfect time for Christmas, I can meet you anywhere on the east side of Madison. I will email photos if you want, but really they aren't necessary. If you have a greatly compelling story behind why you should get money off, I could consider it, but it has to be good.
Thanks, happy holidays."
