I have a couple of unfinished/abandoned arcade projects. This cabinet was originally a Tekken 5 cabinet and I was attempting to convert it to a game station. I installed a 24" Philips TV. This TV is exactly what you need for a project like this. It has multiple inputs for consoles as well as an S Video input for a computer. It also has the input memory that saves the last input in case of a power outage so you don't have to remove the bezel to change back to the desired input.


The bezel is removable and the unit itself is adustable (higher or lower). You will NOT find a cabinet like this anywhere. These things are super rare!! All you need to do is build a control panel (very easy to do) and you will have a killer mame cabinet! It is perfect for a four player setup. If I were to build the control panel and finish this project it would be worth of $1000 easy.

On eBay as of lately there's some BIN's that are between $30 and $50 for a lot of 10 and 20 SNES games... but all the games are sports games. Or the "rare lot" featuring Madden 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 00, 01, 02, etc.

Sometimes on CL you'll find good deals... but in my area they're few and far between. Everyone thinks their NES consoles, loose, are $80 or higher, and top loaders in my area go for $120 apparently. They of course, use the fleabay prices to justify their inflated prices.

Nope, that's a pocket, not a color. It's a black & white screen, tiny, and came in various colors. I believe the gameboy mini (or micro) was the GBC version of the pocket.

The problem with lots is that unless you actually want all of the items, the value of the lot to you will be lowered, since you have the hassle of selling/trading off the extras.

While it's true about the high population of recent immigrants in or near Toronto, I don't think that's what the deal is with these ads. Why did he post random pictures of bears with his Xbox stuff? You don't need to know English to not do random stuff like that for no reason.

In any case, he raised the price in one of his ads. I'm pretty sure these games are common as dirt, maybe worth $5-$10 each tops. Am I somehow wrong about the pricing with this stuff? I always pass on copies of these games whenever I come across them.

IIRC, the Atlantis II title was merely stickered over the top of a regular Atlantis cart...since this sticker came off rather easily, the only way you could tell if it is part II is to play it. The ad says it's Atlantis II....wouldn't hurt to ask him to double-check (that's if he has an Atari to try out it in)!
