I had planned yesterday to go to a(EB-Gamestop)..It's been a long time since I've been to either...I just didn't have the time yesterday so I took a quick poke in Blockbuster...
Blockbuster didn't have anything worthwhile on the shelves, just cheap games that if bought they'd sit unplayed on my shelf.
Then I found a small display with some better titles on it at cheap prices.
So I picked up:
The Warrriors(with book) for $14.99
Full Spectrum Warrior 10 Hammers(with book) $9.99
Played Full Spectrum Warrior 10 Hammers for Hours..

I've made it a bit further in the Palace of the Venerated Dragon in Valkyrie Profile 2 on PS2, and I've also been gaining a lot of levels. I'm close to having everyone at 19, and I think once I hit 20 I should be in much better shape (even if that's still considerably less than most people would recommend).
I've still been haphazardly playing the same games on my SP at school that I've been toying around with for months. I guess I'm kind of sick of all of them, but I'd really like to get them beaten. And since I have considerably less Game Boy time than I did the last couple semesters, I'm probably better off not getting really wrapped up in anything anyway. It's funny, a couple days ago I was so desperate for entertainment that I played through TwinBee Da! nearly three times in one day. :P Never twice in one sitting, though, so I still haven't beaten the hard mode. Not that it seems much harder, since the only difference I notice is that enemies all shoot out a single bullet when they get killed. What I'm really trying to make progress in, however, is Bikers and Boxxle, but I still haven't beaten 4C in Bikers. And Boxxle... well, I'm totally out of the groove I was in last semester, so I don't know what the heck I'm doing. o_O I have about three stages in the ninth area I need to beat before I can move on to the tenth area, and they have me thoroughly stumped. I don't know if I'll EVER beat these stages. x_x

I beat the Palace of the Venerated Dragon in Valkyrie Profile 2 on PS2, which now places me at the beginning of chapter 4. A path opened up that leads back to the section of the map with Solde and Dipan (the latter is my next destination, I believe). The game is finally starting to feel more like a Valkyrie Profile game - that is, the story is starting to feel more connected to the original's.

Whoa..!!
90% of the stores are closed...It's Sad..
Gamestop is this place is IMO one of the most, best set up stores(intelligent employees-Manager) in my area but it's surrounded inside this mall by closed stores...........
.... It felt like if I was in some sort of bombed out warzone....there were no more then 10 people in the foodcourt(On a Saturday Night) and my favorite places were gone.
I felt like if I was in a shelter, people were dressed bundled up for the cold scrounging to get what was left of the food court to eat.
I got a Gyro..I live Gyros and have bought Gyros from the place for the longest...It was fresh..
As I see it,it's signs of the times..All these stores got swallowed up by the nearby Wall Mart.......I can only take so much of Wal-Mart..

I got frustrated with Baten Kaitos. The card system was awesome at first, but it really gets annoying just waiting and waiting for the card you need. So I pretty stopped stopped playing it. Looks like I won't be picking up Origins after all.
I just got my complete copy of Goldeneye (N64) in the mail and I'm really enjoyint it. It's amazing to see how well teh game held up. I get tired of the flood of first person shooters nowadays so I didn't think I would enjoy it that much. But it really is something special and fun.
I also believe it was a great way to kick off my complete N64 collection.

Subject: November NAVA: Wii WEEkend
> You PROBABLY noticed that we skipped the October NAVA. The store had a tournament that night and we're also gearing up for an unforgettable Halloween, so one more event wasn't in the cards.
>
> That means we've all had an extra few weeks to recharge our tradeboxes and game faces! So here we go, on a slightly different weekend of the month so as not to conflict with the Black Friday/Black Saturday/Thanksgiving weekend.
>
> It IS, however, PS3/Wii weekend. So if any of you happen to own one of these on NAVA day, please bring it along for show and tell! I don't know if I'll have the Wii on Saturday and I don't know if I'll have a PS3 at ALL before the holidays so let's play YOURS!
>
> WHEN: Saturday, November 18th, noon to midnight
> WHERE: Digital Press Videogames store - see http://www.digitpress.com/store for travel and lodging details
> WHAT: We trade, we play lots of games. The store has six PC's hooked up to the 'net and LAN. We've got six arcade machines, and we have at least two more game systems hooked up to monitors. So bring your trade stuff and your game face.

I'm up to Yggdrasil in Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria on PS2 now. I've decided to keep my three most powerful characters in my party and just swap around the fourth spot.
Also played through Dragon Spirit on NES just for the heck of it. Man, what a freakin' awesome game. I swear it's one of the greatest shooters ever made, even if the hardcore shmup fans out there will never give it any attention at all.
And finally, I got *three* packages today (quite a lot for me to get all on one day), so I was drowing in Virtual Boy goodness. :) I added five more games to my Virtual Boy collection, so now I'm already over half of the way towards a complete library. :P I tried out Wario Land, Nester's Funky Bowling, Galactic Pinball, Panic Bomber, and Red Alarm (and also played Teleroboxer again). Wario Land is definitely the coolest Virtual Boy game I've played by far, and I have a feeling that even when I get to try the whole US library, it'll still remain the best. Man, what a loss. Just as the system really got great they canned it. Who knows how great Bound High, Dragon Hopper, and Zero Racers could've been. I hope protos show up someday, but even if it happened, emulated Virtual Boy isn't anything like playing a real system.

I just got my Sega Saturn recently. The only game I've really been playing for it is Darius Gaiden. I also got Virtua Cop 2 and NBA Jam T.E. But Virtual Cop 2 isn't really all that great without the light gun, which I don't have, and I'm not into basketball games. I'm hoping to start getting a good bit of Saturn and Atari 2600 games in the future.
I've also been spending a lot of time with my Atari 2600. Mostly playing Enduro, River Raid, and Jungle Hunt.

Its been a while since my last post so here goes
all for PS2:
Castlevania : Curse of Darkness =the first good 3-D Castlevania cant wait to play as Belmont if I can ever beat the last boss.
Black - I really like this game no matter what anyone else says.
especially the critics and jaded Halo players.
I luv that its a shoot it all to hell single player FPS thats actually FUN and a rush at times.
I think Criterion is one of the best developers out there and they are one of the few developers that finally got the PS2 hardware dialed in to the max along with square/enix,Konami and Capcom. Im sure Criterion will amaze on the PS3 and Xbox360 with games specifically made for those new systems.
Soul Calibur 3 -sweet game but havent had much playtime with it yet.
SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS = amazing and intense. too bad I have a POS TV thats about 5 years out of date thats keeps me from enjoying the sheer beauty of this game.
Matrix path of Neo -better than ETM but still has wonky controls and troublesome camera too bad though since it could have been a solid game fun game nonetheless.
God of War - finally finished the game on hard mode wich I never thought I would be able to do.
