I play the game on full setting with my p4 3.40Ghz, ati x1800xt, 3gb ram.

Yes it's a bit extreme but I run it on high and it plays like a charm

Son showing my dad how he plays HALO

Dad Says,"hey Daryll I want to buy a Pinball Machine..And you buy one too..Lets go next week and see what we can get".....different type.. x_x

Son starts playing NFL Fever after checking out the NFL Fever demo on Halo.
First off he was playing the Fusion Frenzy demo and I've never played this game myself.
I'm looking to buy this game,I figure I can get it for $10.00 used..

Me:I'm playing Total Overdose

As I write this my wife says."hey look a Neo Geo Arcade machine on TV"..WHAT!!..I run over to the TV and she is watching a Lifetime movie called On the line..
Yep,in the background of an Arcade there was a 1 slot Neo Geo MVS conversion.
Good eyes hun,I say to her...

Played Blazing Lazers of T16 for the first time. At first it just seemed solid but just okay. The graphics seem like a tricked out NES title at first and it seemed way too easy. It picks up around level 4 though both graphically and in difficulty. I made it to level 5...

Gave Somer Assault (T16) a play through and while it's a little rough around the edges, I'm really digging the unique play mechanics. Made it to level 3...

Also did my EyeToy Kinetic workout and played a little bit of Dragon Quest 8.

Cheers,
Ben

Well I played more Goldeneye today. That game is much easier then it used to be. I think its from playing Halo, Halo 2 and Call of Duty 2 all on the hardest difficulty.

Well He only got to play outrun 2 ..

I plated Total Overdose for awhile..I though I was at the end of the game and was b..chen that the game was short.
Nope, not at the end yet..though I gltched the game once then had to start over/load.

Had a quick game of that really purty level in Ouendan before I went to bed last night.
Just had a few rounds of the Drill demo on Dreamcast again, looking forward to the full game release

edit: Played a couple of races of LeMans24Hours. Beat the Suzuka Grand Prix 3 lap quick race and then did the 10mins LeMans mode but horribly out of practice so did badly in the dark, somehow made it to 2nd place though. I think i'm too good at intermediate level but the handling is different at expert level so can't be bothered taking the step up.

I've been playing lots of Darius Gaiden (Saturn), only three more paths through the zones to complete until I've beaten them all - some were pretty brutal even for a Darius game. After I get through it on my own then I can use the Action Replay cart, set up infinite ships, and sit back and relax with the trippy music and artwork.

Spent awhile playing an obscure PC fighting game called Tough Guy that only ever had a Chinese release. More fighting games need a female Romanian gymnast. LOL

Haven't touched Gran Turismo 4 much this week but I really should get back to playing it. I've also been playing some games in review for upcoming February issue of RTM -

Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - Unlicensed (NES)
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom - Licensed (NES)
Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (Arcade / MAME) - I haven't come across an upright of this in an arcade in years so MAME will have to do.
Ski Or Die (NES)

I would also like to be playing / reviewing Alpine Racer but the nearest machine dissapeared two months ago and from what I can gather is while it runs in MAME right now it is unplayable. Can anyone confirm / deny this? I've played the game a zillion times but would need to play it recently to flesh out an accurate review of game features.

Tried to play a 360 in Gamestop and Walmart..Both systems were messed up/but on..

My Day..

My day..
Honda dealer
Went to check out the full leather racing suits for my Pocket Bike Racing...These thing run from $400.00-$800.00 and up..
They didn't have anything that fit me and otherwise would have to order me one..I like trying on something that I'm going to pay that much money for as they are not returnable.
I really wanted to buy this nice white -blue leather YAMAHA racing jacket but it had a #1 on it..A nice $500.00 ICON leather but it was to plain..
The Corona Racing jackets were nice but we have junior racing classes(kids) at the track so..

So I got this GERICKE Racing jacket for $200.00 /marked down ..I jumped on this as I wanted blue and it was much better then many I was trying on.
It's thick leather and heavy as hell, full padded with removable lining..Has this big Spine-neck protector bump on the back neck area...I feel like I'm in some sort of Mad Max movie with it on..
It has reflective material on it that's catching the flash on the camera.

Picked up some Blue YAMAHA YZF R1 swing arm sliders that are a direct bolt fit to my Pocket bike faring side(had to figure this out by eye looking through package(-being a machinist once pays off sometimes)
But I'm using them as Frame sliders because they are a direct fit and serve the same purpose...(because the size of my bike)$50.00

My GRC Pocket bike/Mini Moto was painted to replicate a YAMAHA YZF R1 so these are perfect.(lots of parts out there for the BIG bike)

Yes, it is unplayable with the keyboard to my knowledge.
You would need to have a USB version of the skis

You wouldn't necessarily need the skis just like you don't need an analog steering wheel, pedals and shifter for driving games. All the ski unit is really is just a pair of sticks that measure roll (left foot and right foot) and then a left/right stick that measures left/right movement. In other words the controls can be hacked to use with, for instance, a PS1/PS2 analog controller - setting up the left ski to the left analog stick and the right ski to the right analog stick. Then setting left body swing to the L1 button and right body swing to the R1 button - set up as variable motion (the longer you squeeze the more you'd lean). If the game does in fact run but has no controls then either the board for the control apparatus hasn't been dumped or an interpreter to remap such to a standard control method hasn't been written yet. Ahh hell, I'll just go download it and try myself. LOL It's not like I need to play it, just map out the features and get some snaps.

Still plugging away at Darius Gaiden, only one more path to complete and I've went through them all. Then I think I should play some VirtualOn... it's a shame to let my TwinStick collect dust - the reason it took me so long to buy one. :/

I'm on disc 2 of Valkyrie Profile now. I just recruited Lucian and Mystina, and the next up I have Arkdain Ruins. My Seal Value is at 4 now, I believe, so everything is set up well for the best ending. Once I finish up with the stuff in Chapter 5, I'll send Lucian up as required for the ending. I don't think I've ever sent him up before, so it'll be interesting to these those parts of the story I've missed.

I've had more than a few games on my mind as of late, but the games I've been spending alot of time on have been:

Car Battler Joe (GBA) it's really addictive, especially building your own cars after you get enough supplies

Adventure Island 3 (NES) I finally got a copy of this game without having to pay an arm and a leg for it, now it barely leaves my NES

Civilization (SNES) still to me one of the simplistic golden strategy games ever made, I can play this game for days on end.

Got this game yesterday and sat and played through it all. That last boss was incredibly frustrating and took a hell of a long time, and then it was like, oh, it didn't seem that hard that time. Well, the title of the thread is still "what game/s are you playing". It makes more sense for people to post whatever they are playing, especially here at dp where i think most people don't differentiate as much between retro and new, its all just gaming.

Anyway, as for me, only played some dp forums shanghai (its so addictive) but watched my flatmate play Metal Gear Solid for a good few hours, I've only ever played the first hour and a half so it was really good seeing lots of amazing bits I never got to see before.

I'm in Chapter 6 in Valkyrie Profile now, and I just finished the Sunken Shrine and recruited Badrach. Boy, the Sunken Shrine is by far the hardest dungeon I've done so far in this game, harder than any in Normal mode. It really pissed me off that I had to do so, but I got help with the puzzles twice from my boyfriend. I would've been happy to take my time and try to figure them out completely on my own, but when they only give me a save point at the end of the dungeon and I've already spent SO long trying to figure them out AND the enemies are so tough that I don't know if they're going to kill me off, I just needed to get to that save point as quickly as possible before my PlayStation would overheat or something, haha. Those crab enemies sure were a pain, even my high level Valkyrie only didn't 1 HP of damage with each attack, so I had to spend forever whittling away their HP with magic. And those eyeball guys, they're even worse. They were even harder than the boss of the dungeon, but at least I got some good experience out of them.

Still addicted to Mahjong on the forums
then went I couldn't sleep in the middle of the night I reached over for my DS and played:
Metal Slug Advance (hate the bosses)
Sonic Pinball Party (still brilliant and I tried out the Chao garden finally, it has a couple of mini-games in it, one of those memorizing things which i didn't want to tax my brain with before i slept and some wierd shoot the bubbles puzzle game which i didn't quite understand...)
