Today, its been the 6-game cartridge for the menacer! :-D That thing rocks! I sit on my couch and just shoot at crap all day, its the greatest thing ever!
Animal Crossing - Gamecube (Still putting in my hour or two a day.)
Atari Flashback Console - Been spending a lot of time with this.
Still playing the above.

Playstation 2 - GTA: San Andreas
PHEW. Finally finished all 19 of the races! Sitting at about 96.12%. Just sat down and started working on em, and blew right threw em. The plane checkpoint "races" were actually the most annoying because of the stunt plane. That airplane I'm horrible at controlling, but the rest of the aircraft were pretty easy, especially the helicopter.
Well, when I get home, I only got a few missions left (pimping, fire truck, taxi) so I'm sure I'll finish the game tonight. Right now I'm off to see Batman Begins with my sister.

Need For Speed Underground 2 (PC) How many stages are in this game?
I think 5 man. Because when I last played I was on Stage 5..Coal Harbour West and had all 3 of my cars at 10 star rating, was guessing I was almost done.
Why did you find another or are you on CHW?

Tecmo Super Bowl (SNES)
thought I'd give the NES version a rest before the season starts. Looking forward to getting an updated rom for the new season.
U.N. Squadron (SNES)
man this has been in my pile since it was new and i'm just coming back too it. wow, so many options in a shmup this has to be one of my favorite shmups of all time.
Tetris Attack (SNES) what i'm on snes kick latley
me and my girlfriend have been battling it out lately. she's dang good too. i'll get the best of her yet though
Steet Fighter Alpha 2 (SNES) you already know i'm on a snes kick so why are you looking at me funny
I found this in the stack. I don't even remember buying this game. This had to be one of the last snes games. Very playable but slighlty too easy since i was able to breeze through it and i'm not good at these types of games.
Star Fox (SNES)
Is it just me or did anyone else like it better when you're wingmen didn't actually speak. I like the funny sounds they make... maybe its just me.

..................................
Subject: Here kitty kitty.
A couple from Bellevue was dressed and ready to go out for the evening.
They turned on a night light, turned the phone answering machine on, covered their pet parakeet and put the cat in the backyard. They phoned the local cab company and requested a taxi. The taxi arrived and the couple opened the front door to leave their house. The cat they had put out into the yard scooted back into the house. They didn't want the cat shut in the house because she always tried to eat the bird. The wife got into the taxi while the husband went back inside to get the cat. The cat rans upstairs, the man in hot pursuit.
Waiting in the cab, the wife didn't want the driver to know the house would be empty for the night. She explained to the taxi driver that her husband would be out soon. "He's just going upstairs to say good-night to my mother."
A few minutes later, the husband got into the cab. "Sorry I took so long", he said as they drove away. "Stupid bitch was hiding under the bed. I had to poke her with a coat hanger to get her to come out! She tried to take off so I grabbed her by the neck. Then I had to wrap her in a blanket to keep her from scratching me. But it worked. I hauled her fat ass downstairs and threw her out into the back yard!"
The cabdriver hit a parked car...

Well I finished Dino Crisis 1 and 2 this morning, so I'm quite glad I got those out of the way again. Later I think I'll be continuing with something of a completely different nature, by doing Ace Combat 1, 2, or 3. Then perhaps a RPG I haven't touched for a while, that'd be nice, like Legend of Legalia.

Played Trivial Pursuit (PS2) at a friend's house with four other people last night. We ended the game on a tie (I was tied with a friend, both of us two wedges away from winning) because we had played for nearly two hours and everyone was bored to death.
So we decided to determine the winner by a game of rock paper scissors - best 3 out of 5. He won, 3-2.

Subject: I flunked.
During a visit to the mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what is
the criteria that defines a patient to be institutionalized.
"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub, we offer a teaspoon,
a teacup, and a bucket to the patient and ask the patient to empty
the bathtub"
Okay, here's your test:
(Those with an abnormal tendency will scroll to the bottom
to get the answer before even taking this test!)
1. Would you use the spoon?
or
2. Would you use the teacup?
or
3. Would you use the bucket?
"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would choose
the bucket as it is larger than the spoon or the cup."
f"Noooooo," answered the Director. "A normal person would pull the plug.

I really need to finish up Thief: Deadly Shadows.. .."Tonight"
I spend more time running around aimlessly in this game then anything..but for some reason it keeps me interested..
My games are really starting to pile up..I haven't played anything that I've bought in the last few weeks-months yet..
Shoot not even RE4..
Today:
I went to four stores looking for a used God of War PS2 and Ferrari F355 Challenge
Gamestop,EB,Software ETC and Funcoland.
Gamestop had 1 copy of God of War PS2 for $44.99 used but the box was trashed-insert etc..I passed.
None of the other stores had it used..only one store had it new..I'll pick it up somewhere at the end of the week..
Ferrari F355 Challenge PS2....forget about it...No one had this..They don't even remember ever having it.
Funcoland though..the female employee said that earlier in the day a young kid came in looking for the same game..
..Cold Winter PS2..None of the stores except EB had this either..
I didn't see it on the shelf in EB so I called them before I left the mall and the price is now $19.99 for it brand new..It was $49.99....I thought the guy was mistaken but it's $19.99
I picked that up and......... Commandos 2: Men Of Courage Xbox, that rang up at $8.99 (complete)
Notice anything about these two games..

Ehh..Sad to say I've given up....I had a good amount of time to try and finish this game today..It's was just dragging along ...I actually have a headache from all the traveling around in the game..
I reached the Cradle:
This seems right out of a Silent Hill Game..I wasn't expecting it.
The first ghost shadow scared the crap out of me..I ran around aimlessly and used up all my ammo etc. Then I found out I have to go get all these items that I've already passed to go back into the past.
I think I found them all and have went into the past..I have nothing, not even my dagger...As I learn if I get caught they take my toy/item away and it seems like that means starting all over again.(FK THAT!!)..whew,I'm not doing it all over again..Thos girl wants me to go find her Diary,..Naaaahhhhh..
I'm bored...I got bored of the game and I really wanted to finish it..
It's just to dragging,to much to do,to much running around.
I need some action..I have to check my list and see what I'll start later..
Someday I'll complete this game ,.from my save point Ill remember where I left off..

Right off the bat the music and sounds in the game are astounding...The game starts off great as I love war history..I sat back with my headphones on Smiling.
In the first mission I kept running back to the machine gut emplacement just because it sounds so great..
I played two missions then quit as I can easily burn through a game like this because I'll wind up playing all night..I do want to try and play the missions over on hard..
I like the no save points in this game..It makes it more of a fight to survive/be careful game..

A little girl went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jelly jar from its hiding place in the closet. She poured the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Three times, even. The total had to be exactly perfect. No chance here for mistakes. Carefully placing the coins back in the jar and twisting on the cap, she slipped out the back door and made her way 6 blocks to Rexall's Drug Store with the big red Indian Chief sign above the door.
She waited patiently for the pharmacist to give her some attention but he was too busy at this moment.
Tess twisted her feet to make a scuffing noise.
Nothing.
She cleared her throat with the most disgusting sound she could muster
No good.
Finally she took a quarter from her jar and banged it on the glass counter.
That did it!
"And what do you want?" the pharmacist asked in an annoyed tone of voice. "I'm talking to my brother from Chicago whom I haven't seen in ages," he said without waiting for a reply to his question.
"Well, I want to talk to you about my brother," Tess answered back in the same annoyed tone. "He's really, really sick ... and I want to buy a miracle."
''I beg your pardon?" said the pharmacist.
"His name is Andrew and he has something bad growing inside his head and my Daddy says only a miracle can save him now. So how much does a miracle cost?"
"We don't sell miracles here, little girl. I'm sorry but I can't help you," the pharmacist said, softening a little.
"Listen, I have the money to pay for it. If it isn't enough, I will get the rest. Just tell me how much it costs."
The pharmacist's brother was a well dressed man. He stooped down and asked the little girl, "What kind of a miracle does your brother need?"
I don't know," Tess replied with her eyes welling up. "I just know he's really sick and Mommy says he needs an operation. But my Daddy can't pay for it, so I want to use my money."
"How much do you have?" asked the man from Chicago.
"One dollar and eleven cents," Tess answered barely audibly. "And it's all the money I have, but I can get some more if I need to."
"Well, what a coincidence," smiled the man. "A dollar and eleven cents--the exact price of a miracle for little brothers."
He took her money in one hand and with the other hand he grasped her mitten and said "Take me to where you live. I want to see your brother and meet your parents. Let's see if I have the miracle you need."
That well dressed man was Dr. Carlton Armstrong, a surgeon, specializing in neuro-surgery. The operation was completed free of charge and it wasn't long until Andrew was home again and doing well.
Mom and Dad were happily talking about the chain of events that had led them to this place.
"That surgery," her Mom whispered. "was a real miracle. I wonder how much it would have cost?"
Tess smiled. She knew exactly how much a miracle cost: one dollar and eleven cents.....plus the faith of a little child.

That's a great game, I spent many hours with it back in the day. The Hovercraft is generally the best if I remember right, but I've beat the game using the Battletank maxed out.
The game got a sequel on the PSX called Red Asphalt, if you're interested. It's basically just an updated 3d version, but it's still alot of fun.

I'm still playing Xmen Legends with my son, he is really addicted to this game like no other.
I found a complete version of Full Throttle today and decided to give it a try this evening. It runs perfect using the ScummVM and it's a really good, I never got a chance to play it when it first came out. Kinda makes me wish the Adventure genre would make a comeback.
Other than that, I've just been playing short sessions of Burnout: Takedown.

Just picked up a Neo Geo Pocket Color. Been playing SNK vs Capcom Card Fighters Clash, Metal Slug First Mission and Shanghai Mini the most and am really enjoying it.
The only downside is having been spoiled by backlit screens like the GBA SP.
Cheers,
Ben

Medal of Honor: European Assault
Played a bit more last night until I could no longer see straight(need sleep)..On hard the enemies can be tough..I've found some great spots for taking out enemies from above windows/spots..
I mainly if I can use the M1 Garand/if I can find it or.....It's sort of like sniping..
I mainly like to pop out and get a bead on an enemy then fire..instead of just firing away with the machine gun..
I love going up against the enemy emplacement machine guns/trying to pick off the guy who's shooting it...Popping my head up taking a shot..
I'll spend a good amount of time doing this until I get him.Sometimes however it's manned again quickly so I may take out two or three enemies at that gun emplacement before making a dash for a closer position..
I have found ways to flank these gun emplacements but find it to easy this way..I'd rather do it the hard way and come in from the front for the full effect..It's pretty well done..

If I had one bad thing to say about the game is:
When you have no more heath kits and are very low on health you hear your heart beating real deep..It sounds just like a cars windshield wipers on slow on a rainy day.
This is reflected more when you are on a level with rain or storm sounds....Ohh,it drove me nuts and I'm playing with headphones on..
I had to go back and find a heath pack..I ran all over the place trying to find one..
Ohh..Before I started this game I went through the whole tutorial of Commandos 2 Men Of Courage.
The book in this game is thick..This game is intriguing to me as I wanted/want to play it..From all of what I need to know for the controls I figure this is best played via Computer-key board and mouse(?).
From the start I was killed..I just can't do the commands fast enough..So I gave up.
Trying this game again in the future..

Been a long time since I posted in this thread.
Yesterday I tried out The Typing Of The Dead for the Dreamcast. Was a fun game, pretty easy and I got as far as the Nightmare boss then died. I'll give it another go sometime and try to finish it. I can't wait to get my mate with a Dreamcast keyboard over to play it 2 player.
I got the new Star Wars game for the DS the other day when I had a long train ride and its quite fun. Thought there would be more flying levels. Its quite well done. The bosses normally take a while because you have to remember to block which I normally don't do.
Had a quick blast on Polarium which is the first time in a while, got through to level 7 really easily but again still stuck on the 700-800 level so I think I need to do that in practice mode. I really want to complete this game.
Showed my friend KuruKuru Kururin as well, he really enjoyed it but was missing an analogue stick because he's used to the Xbox so was annoyed at the 8-way movement. He loved the music though.

My Dad really wants to get into gaming, and that means I have a lot to do..He likes pinball.
I'll give him some stuff yet show him what to buy.
I want him to buy a new Xbox..So today since we were shooting the Airsoft Guns and using his Soft Air Thompson Military M1 Rifle I showed him Medal of Honor: European Assault because of the similarity in weapons he's buying with this airsoft stuff...Hoping he'll take a liking to the FPS games.
....I was showing him the hide/peek and aim-shot using a M1 tactic..
He's really never seen this before,at least paid much attention too..Doing this just shows how much fun I have playing these type games.
Playing Bowlatronic tabletop game..
I'm glad it had the instructions on the bottom because I couldn't figure out how to play it x_x
