Not much changes on a daily basis. I'm usually playing Garou or Last Blade 1 / 2 on the NeoGeo with a bit of Metal Slug and KoF thrown in for good measure. Aside from some shooting love I'm on Guilty Gear X, Marvel vs Capcom 2 or SNK vs Capcom on the Dreamcast. The NGPC is getting hammered on MotM, Last Blade and Card Fighters: SNK atm.
However, we did end up on a 4 hour long Flying Power Disk [Windjammers] mission the other night. We (current missus and I) had a mate and his missus over for dinner. The ladies got through a couple of bottles of wine, and we had a few Stellas and a smoke. They wanted to see the Neo running, so I showed them Garou and everyone was quite impressed. But they're not into fighting games at all so I got Windjammers on the go. It certainly livened the evening up. It's amazing how competitive drunken women can be too.

Well, I think it's time for me to retire Wario Land II. I beat the Mysterious Factory path, and after I had gotten all the treasure and picture panels, I opened up the ability to go straight to boss battles in stages that have them, the Flagman D.D. mini-game, and the "Really Final Chapter". That stage was really tough, but I got through it after 25 minutes and was rewarded with the final ending. There's no treasure in the stage, so the only reason I could want to replay it is to get a better time. However, everything I've read seems to indicate that there's no reward for improving your time, so I don't really care. :P Similarly, the Flagman game doesn't offer any rewards either besides saving your score so you can try to improve it (but not getting anything for doing so). This is my first experience with what is essentially a Game & Watch title, and I must say I was disappointed. I was hoping for a fun little repetitive action game, but this is just Simon Says. In fact, if I really wanted a high score, I could just write or type the pattern. So yeah... lame. I'm not planning on "playing" it more (I got a score of around 25, so that's good enough for me). I also see no point in fighting bosses over, so I'm done. Now to just remember to pop it into my Super Game Boy to see what the custom backgrounds are like. I don't mean to sound negative, though. Overall, it was a terrific game. :)
In Lufia & the Fortress of Doom on SNES, I got a Might Bow by giving the dragon 8 eggs, and then I found the purple newt in the cave near Herat. I took it to Lyden to have it turned into the Magic Flavor, so now I just need to do whatever I gotta do in the castle to please the king and finally get the last piece of Alumina.

Most reviews dissed this game for it's lack of multiplayer, which is a pretty big negative. However I always enjoyed it as a solid singleplayer game, and I find the 1-player quest to be much better then Bomberman 64's. Good stuff, I'm about half way through it. The game is pretty easy, but I am having a challenge finding some of the secret treasures.

After toying around with Wario Land II one last time on Super Game Boy, I had to pick out a new Game Boy game to play and pack to school (even if I only have finals left at this point), and I decided to go with Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge, partially at my boyfriend's suggestion. I was really getting frustrated with it at first and thought I was never going to make any progress, but my boyfriend told me that once you beat a boss then you just fly through everything. Turns out he was right. After a lot of practice, I beat Iceman, and very quickly after that I beat Fireman and Elecman. Then a bit later I polished off Cutman. Now I'm practicing the Wily stage, and I can get through it okay. I'm having trouble with the four bosses after that, though. I usually start with Quickman, and then I do Bubbleman and Heatman. I just can't seem to beat Flashman, though. None of those guys' weapons seem to be all that effective. Since I've never played Mega Man or Mega Man 2 on NES (besides part of a stage here or there when a controller is passed to me), I'm not familiar with what patterns and weapons to use like most everybody else is. :P
Oh, I also popped Mega Man 2 in my Game Boy Advance SP too. My boyfriend was telling me that it didn't control as well and I had read that it was much easier, so I wanted to see for myself. Sure enough, I was eating a ton of hits with little penalty, and I killed off one of the bosses pretty easily. I don't plan on playing through it now, but I probably will whenever I'm done with the first Game Boy game.
In Lufia & the Fortress of Doom on SNES, I got the last piece of Alumina and fixed up my ship so it go underwater, but I haven't done anything beyond that yet. I explained to my boyfriend what Try Again mode did after I looked it up (it multiplies experience and gold gained by 4), and he got so excited about it that he started a game. Oh, and he's already caught up to me, haha, both in levels AND in progress. :P He's had the game since around when it was new, so he knows exactly what to do and can blow through it fast. Surprising that he never learned what "Try Again" did all these years, though.

I've gotten up to Dr. Wily now in Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge on my Game Boy Advance SP, and I practically have the stages mastered now but I still want to pull out my hair because I can't for the life of me figure out how to damage Wily. I can destroy the mouth of his machine without too much trouble (by spamming the Quick Boomerang), although I do take a few hits while doing so since those damn spiky balls are so hard to doge. Once the machine opens up and reveals Wily, I'm just... stuck. I've tried every weapon, including the standard shot, I've tried shooting every different thing, I've tried messing around with Carry to see if I can get on top of him or something, but... nothing. :/ I'm sure I've tried this well over a dozen times now, and it's getting annoying repeating the stage over and over (and if I turn it off, I got TWO stages to repeat as well as FIVE bosses, ugh). I wouldn't mind so much if it was just hard because then I could still measure how my skill is improving, but I'm not dying because it's hard; I'm dying because it's a damn puzzle I can't figure out and I don't want to put up with puzzles in Mega Man. Sure, I was just playing Wario Land II and the Wario games always end up stumping me on several bosses on how to go about damaging them, but this is an entirely different kind of game here.

I guess you could say it is somewhat similar in the sense that it has a different take on the rail-shooter genre. The gameplay consists of using the DS touch screen and tapping where you want to shoot. The game does get challenging as the zombies are sometimes hard to hit and come at you in fairly large waves, you also have to drag an image of bullets from the bottom right of the touch screen over to an image of your gun's chamber on the bottom left side of the screen which does add to the challenge. Overall it is a fun game though short.

A lady about 8 months pregnant got on a bus. She noticed the man opposite her was smiling at her. She immediately moved to another seat. This time the smile turned into a grin, so she moved again. The man seemed more amused.
When on the fourth move, the man burst out laughing, she complained to the driver and he had the man arrested.
The case came up in court.
The judge asked the man (about 20 years old) what he had to say for himself.
The man replied, "Well your Honor, it was like this, when the lady got on the bus, I couldn't help but notice her condition. She sat down under a sign that said, 'The Double Mint Twins are coming' and I grinned. Then
she moved and sat under a sign that said, 'Logan's Liniment will reduce the swelling,' and I had to smile. Then she placed herself under a deodorant sign that said, "William's Big Stick Did the Trick," and I
>could hardly contain myself. But, Your Honor, when She moved the fourth time and sat under a sign that said, 'Goodyear Rubber could have prevented this Accident'... I just lost it."
