I had a good session with Gals Fighters and Last Blade on the Neo Pocket whilst on the train for business trip.
The Yoko cab has been running Garou: MotW, Last Blade 2 and Street Fighter Zero 3 recently. In the Tate cab I've been playing Armed Police Batrider, Trigger Heart Exelica, Under Defeat, DoDonpachi and Dragon Blaze. I'm feeling a bit of Psyvariar 2 so I reckon I'll have a crack on that shortly as it's not been played in a very long time.
I've also been playing Resident Evil 0 on the Wii. And my little boy is getting on quite well with Sonic Chaos on the GameGear. My daughter will stand and watch for a couple of minutes, but she has better things to do like wheeling her dolls about in their pushchair.

Lately, I've been playing Space Invaders Extreme (DS). The game is like a combination of Rez and Lumines, combined with elements of Majestic 12 (Space Invaders '91) and the level-branching of Bust-A-Move.
Even with all of that inspiration, the game still manages to impress with the loads of technique needed to uncover everything within the game. Power-ups, bonus levels and all sorts of other things can be attained only with the most skillful of playing.

I've put about 14 hours into Final Fantasy IV Advance thus far. I played the SNES version once as a 12 year old, but couldn't defeat the Magus sisters. I didn't pick up on the fact you had to level up your characters to be successful. Ended up trading the game in for FIFA soccer on the SNES. Didn't know any better.

$3500 for south park? That's, well that's insane.... At least here in Chicago they regularly sell (100% working, sometime w/cartman top, sometimes w/o) for about $1600-1800. I'm a huge south park fan so i was going to buy one, but I really don't like the pin that much so... It is nice that a bar down the street from me has that and roller coaster tycoon though.
As for me, playing Counter Strike Source at home and Donkey Kong arcade at work. I'm stuck at 83K points (the 3rd time through the spring level is rough for me).

Just started up "Devil May Cry 3: SE" again... I've beaten the game numerous times already with countless hours logged in, but it doesn't matter. The game is a masterpiece. Yeah, so there is the "God of War" series and the "Ninja Gaiden" series, as well as "DMC 4", but in my opinion there is nothing out there that can touch the brilliance of this game.

I finally beat Final Fantasy III on DS, but, man, did this game HATE me. After my miserable defeat in my last post, I spent a whole bunch of time redoing everything I had lost, got a slight bit farther than I did before, and you know what happens? The game freakin' FREEZES on me. That's the only time it's done so, and it just had to be right then. :/ So, yeah, redid everything for a third time, and then I finally finished her off. I still have to power up my characters to defeat the insanely hard bonus boss, but that should be fun. The final dungeon was sure a disappointment. I'd still say it's my favorite of the Final Fantasy games I've beaten, but all that tedious garbage really took it down a few notches. It's a shame. Now to play Final Fantasy IV probably next summer. :P I'm surprised how long this one took me. I clocked in about 50 hours. Here I was expecting to finish it in early June, although some other stuff did get in the way for a few weeks.
Other than that, I played loads more obscure Neo Geo fighters via emulation: all four World Heroes games, both Last Blade games, Ninja Master's, Savage Reign, Kizuna Encounter, Waku Waku 7, Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer, Ragnagard, Rage of the Dragons, and Matrimelee. Mostly pretty good stuff, except for those last few, at least.
My boyfriend also made me play a few minutes of his Metal Gear Solid 3 file on PlayStation 2, but I don't know what the heck I'm doing in those games. :P
I'm around 60hrs into Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on the PS3.

Outrun 2006 (PSP)
Yes after nearly 50 hours of Pokemon, I'm officially tired of looking at my DS. Switched back to my luscious PSP screen... with it's incredibly poor battery life. Twinbee is a blast, but I had to switch off the full-screen mode on all games, it's just too stretched and blurry. Luckily that slick screen looks great even when the picture is reduced to GBA size for a proper aspect ratio.

It's taking longer than expected to power up my characters in Final Fantasy III on DS sufficiently to beat the bonus boss Iron Giant, despite that I was overleveled in the final dungeon. I'm nearly up to level 80, but I think I'm still too weak. I'm starting to get the feeling that this game has typical Final Fantasy bonus boss syndrome, in that the bonus boss is ridiculously more difficult than anything else in the game and that you basically have to stick to one dumb gimmick that takes advantage of some quirk in the gameplay to be successful, just like the Weapons in Final Fantasy VII. Personally, I think that's pretty dumb. I'd prefer to experiment and formulate my own way to victory, but I don't know if that's possible. At this point it's just a hunch, though, so I hope I'm wrong. In Final Fantasy VII, I beat all the optional Weapons, but I never really felt accomplished for doing so. It was just a matter of sticking to some rigid pattern. I was actually reading a magazine as summons were going during the Emerald Weapon fight.
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion on PS3. Just finished the Arena.

My original Xbox had been in its box since I moved here last October and I took it out last night and played it. It was like playing it again for the first time. After resetting the clock and listening to the custom soundtrack music I had saved, I just kind of picked a few games out of the disc album at random.
Outrun 2006: Coast 2 Coast - This was a previous Blockbuster rental copy I had never played before. I love this game and I can't stop playing it to unlock the extra cars. I just can't drift too well, so on the drift only mission I kept getting a C rating.
Tecmo Arcade - For a $4 used game, it is pretty decent, but the games don't hold my interest too long. I played Bomb Jack, Pinball, Pleiades and Star Fighter.
Mercenaries - I hadn't played this game since 2006. As soon as I started it, I completed one of the timed driving missions and won $5000. Then, I kept getting killed on the Chinese mission to kill the Russian mafia heads.
I might start Scarface and return to Prince of Persia sometime today...

I went back and played more Xbox today:
Mercenaries - I've been trying more of the lesser missions in order to gain intelligence that will lead me to the locations of the 52. My only complaint about this game is the backtracking and the driving over miles of terrain just to get from one territory to the next. Hopefully, the 360 sequel will have less of this tedium, but the game is fun. I like blowing up the enemy tanks and flying the helicopter.
Xyanide - Why no one had considered putting custom soundtrack support in 2D shooters before this game is beyond me. Pure genius.
I'm still staring at the sealed copy of Xbox Scarface here, but I've already started the PS2 version and it's another third-person shooter, so I might as well go back to Mercenaries.

I'm still focusing on Xbox:
Mercenaries - Man, this is perhaps the best sandbox game I've ever played. The only one I like better is Crackdown on 360. Anyway, the game starts to get pretty difficult the closer you get to the main boss. If only the enemies didn't start using missiles in numbers...
Final Fight Streetwise - This game is neat, but I prefer to not think of it as Fight Fight canon.
Ninja Gaiden - I went back to this game today and couldn't get any further than my last save from two years ago. I'm stuck at the part with the ninjas on horseback.
Thrillville - This one is just one to cleanse the palate. I don't think it's even possible to beat Thrillville, but it's an interesting take on the simulation genre. The rides aren't that exciting, though.

Gun Grave(PS2) and Dark Watch(Xbox). I'm going to beat them one of these days.
I've started to play System Shock 2 again, this time on Easy because the game is too damn hard for me on Normal. I've been enjoying the game thus far and I'm not too far into it, so I may just restart the game again since Easy seems a little too easy.
Funny thing is the game was a lot easier to get to work on Vista than XP, which was a bitch and a half to get to work.
I've also been playing Civilization Revolution and Fallout 2.
