Gameboy Color - Top Gear Pocket 2
Amazing little racer for the GBC, heaps better than the original Top Gear Pocket which was gimmicky mainly due to it being one of the first GBC vibration cartridges. The sequel is beautiful though, it's like Rad Racer meets Final Lap. In fact it plays a lot like the Final Lap games, maybe that's why I enjoy it so much. The graphics are quite impressive as is the entire package.
Also been spending time with my pachinko machine since after almost two years her restoration is finally complete. Well, as complete as is possible, she's at 98% functionality and that's as good as things are going to get.

Working my way through GCN Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem for the third time. Just finished the Guardian battle at the end of the World War I chapter. I nearly lost a life when my character froze near some zombies. I thought it was a cheap 'insanity effect' until I noticed the power light on my Wavebird had gone out. @_@ By the time I changed batteries and killed the attacking zombies, I was down to a minute sliver of red on the life meter.
It also pays to read the manual. I didn't discover the 'run' button (by accident) until I had died nearly a dozen times fighting Pious the first time through the game. :embarrassed:

Since buying my DS lite just this weekend I have been hammering away on it and almost nothing else.
- Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin
have about 5-6 hours on it and have been through the City, Desert, and Circus paintings...found the 4th one and am about to enter it.
- Final Fantasy III
played for about 3-4 hours; removed the curse from villagers, hiked up the mountain, ran from Bahamut, mini-ed into the gnome village, and am now saved outside the Viking cave.
- Cooking Mama
Funny little experinece with this game....being new to the DS I had no idea it's actual capbility. Everytime I would try to stew something I would fail when I got to the "blow" step. Tried tapping and moving absolutely everything. I became frustrated and finally said to hell with it and blew on the screen...little did I know that my act of frustration was the answer to my problem....
Outside of that my brother came over last night and we played a couple 150cc Grand Prix' on Mario Kart Double Dash (GCN). I owned him in points the first Prix and we tied in the second one, even had a race in which I finished 0.004 seconds behind him on Bowser's Castle.

LaserDisc arcade games on my computer!
Using Daphne Loader v2.1.46, it comes with the emulator and a torrent file so you can download a good number of Laserdisc games.
I was playing these three the most:
Badlands
Cobra Command (My favorite Laserdisc game, owns Dragon Lair anyday)
Road Blaster (Road Avenger on the Sega CD)
I also played:
Bega's Battle (This game sucks so bad you can't feel my pain).
Astron Belt (Ok I guess)
Esh's Aurumillia (hate Dragon Lair type randomness)
GP World (terrible)
Interstellar (good game from Funai I guess).
M.A.C.H. 3 (not that great)
That's it for now, time to find and download Cliff hanger if it's possible.

True Crime: New York City
Cleaned up a couple more precincts.
Here are the cars I own thus far:
-The undercover cop car you start with. Looks like a Crown Victoria.
-The Lamborghini Gallardo lookalike, black. One of the fastest cars in the game.
-The Ford GT lookalike, black with grey stripes. I think this is the fastest car in the game. You can buy it once you reach Detective 2nd Grade. The promotion bonus I got paid for it too. Heh.
-The Nissan Skyline lookalike, black. I gave this a street upgrade (which unfortunately doesn't improve the car's performance) and a undercover police car upgrade.
-The early 70's Camaro lookalike, again in black. I had to look up an FAQ to find a dealership that wasn't selling the beater version of the car. I'm thinking of getting another muscle car and giving it a police upgrade.

I haven't posted in this topic in awhile, but unlike other times where it's because I'm not playing much, this time I've actually been doing a lot of gaming since then. I've been extremely busy between school, gaming, writing (which was part of the reason I've been playing a lot, because I need to assist my writing), and just having a rough time with a recent death in my family.
Most of my gaming time has been with Chulip, where I did just about everything that could be done in the game. I expected it to be a pretty short game, but it actually took a lot of time to get all 50 kisses.
At school I've played a little TwinBee Da! via the Konami GB Collection Vol. 3 on my Game Boy Advance SP, and I also played Boxxle but got absolutely nowhere with it because I still can't figure out stage 10-1.
I played a tiny bit of Wetrix on N64 during a stint in which my boyfriend's brother wanted me to prove to him that N64 actually has more than a couple good games. I didn't bring Wetrix up myself, but him and a buddy saw it and wanted to try it. Now they can't stop making fun of the voice acting in the game. :P
Let's see, I also have been trying out a whole ton of games. Since I was borrowing a PS2 to play Chulip, I also gave a spin to a few PS2 games I've had sitting around: La Pucelle Tactics, Disgaea, and Tsugunai. For the original PlayStation, I tried out Fever 2: Sankyo Official Pachinko Simulation on my Japanese PS2, and on my PS1, I tried King's Field, Bottom of the 9th, Power Soccer 98, and Psychic Detective. What's funny is that I didn't do anything in Psychic Detective whatsoever, I just sat and watched the video play, and after about 10 minutes, it was already asking me for disc 2. Finally, I was also toying around with the PlayStation Interactive Vol. 1 demo CD, but most of the games on it stink. I played the demos for Mortal Kombat 3, Twisted Metal, and Wipeout.
I think that covers everything. I'm not sure what to play now that I'm done with Chulip, but I do have more games to test and more on the way.

I've been bad at keeping this log, and also have hardly played any games apart from sunday and yesterday when i played:
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - DS
I was always so close to the end but got stuck on the detective parts as it was so long since i played so i caved in and looked at a walkthrough and finished off the game on a long train journey and at home afterwards. Some good twists at the end and now i'm looking forward to starting a new adventure game.
Super Monkey Ball Deluxe - PS2
I didn't know what to play and eventually played this which annoyed me because it wasn't quite like...
Kororinpa - Wii
Another game completed! Did the last 4 levels. The last one was fun, the penultimate one ridiculously easy and the one before that really really tough. I stupidly played some more afterwards and got annoyed.
WarioWare: Smooth Moves - Wii
Did the elephant levels, this game is fun, sudden death was a hard one to complete, now on a set where it doesn't tell you the form before hand so often you lose because you're holding it completely wrong to do what you are meant to do. This game is great fun still and i hope there is still more to unlock!
