Finished the rest of FF1 fairly quickly. I'm going to start Ninja Gaiden 2 now, but previously started out the translated version of Dragon Quest 3 for the SNES.
Now there is one thing that made me quit the SNES version of DQ3 and it's not that it sucked. The patch seems to have an enemy placement error. The first battle I fought after stepping outside was a few slimes, which obviously at the beginning, that should be correct. The second battle was against two Baramos, the first who used Explodet and killed every party member in a single hit. So I walked outside, walked around, tried it out again. Same thing but this time the first battle was against two Baramos'. This is specifically a mid game boss battle so that shouldn't happen.

I hate playing games using a keyboard. Playing Ninja Gaiden 2 through emulator on PC to record a no continue playthrough. I did actually complete the game all the way through on one run, but both parts on the last stage looked so ugly that I'm not going to post it. I ended up dying four times and then on Jacquou. Maybe one time per boss is fine, but yeah, four times before the first form. The reason I still finished the game is because there are three extra lives on that stage(meaning each boss you kill you can get them again when you inevitably die on the next form or if you die you can get the one in the room you died at.)
If only there was a PS3 Six Axis driver for Vista 64bit I'd actually be able to use a controller. It sucks when you can't press more than two buttons at once on a keyboard because the third button press isn't there when more than two are pressed at once. *edit* Oh yeah. And cramped hands because using a pos keyboard ftw!

-NCAA Football 2005 (XBox): my Boston College cornerback is on pace to win the Heisman trophy due to his extremely prolific punt return stats LOL
-NFL 2K3 (GameCube): the AI in this GC port of NFL 2K3 is actually better than the PS2 and XBox versions. Why, I don't know? This is without checking the release dates, because I assume this version came third of the three ports and VC probably decided to tinker with the AI and make it a little more difficult.
-NFL Quarterback Club 96 (Genesis)
-F1 Race (Gameboy): played just long enough to permanently imprint my initials on a bunch of tracks in the Time Trial mode. In case some of you have never played this before, Gameboy F1 Race "saves" your best track times with some sort of backup system (battery?).

I've been playing MLB Power Pros 2008 on my PS2 again. I want to finish up this season so I can move onto other games. I just finished my team's regular season and there's a minor flaw in here...on August 31, any players not on your major roster is ineligible for post-season play so I can't use Zach Duke, one of my better pitchers, because he was on the DL at that time. So he can't play, despite the fact that he was on the main roster most of the season up to that point. His record actually wound up being 19-0...my one 20-game winner was Paul Maholm at 20-4. Now I'm ready to dominate in the post-season, win the World Series and then put it away for awhile so I can concentrate on other games once that is done.

Chrono Trigger. Something happened to Crono, went to a mountain, Crono is back. From this point on I can either go straight to fighting Lavos which you can do as soon as you reach the end of time or partake in one of the many sidequests, in which I will complete them all and then go defeat Lavos. Since I'm playing it on my PSP, I patched the game with the Coliseum patch made by the same people who made Prophet's Guile and Crimson Echoes in which I'll attempt to fully complete that as well.
Also FF3. With this game however, I might go through maybe one area every few days. I hate FF3. It makes you wonder how they managed to make battles move at a much slower pace than both FF1 and 2. Isn't it enough that the pacing of the game itself has sucked, so make the battle system go incredibly slow even on the highest response rate? There's a reason why I've beaten it only one time and it's been out such a long time. Got a ways into the game on the DS game but I can't even play it any longer on that so I haven't even beaten the DS version.

The Champions of Norrath looks interesting. I might check that one out when I'm done with Darkstone. I don't have a problem with the monsters respawning since I'm always in need of gold and level up. Right now I'm at this part where I reach a new land and I get these archer woman shooting me arrows. They kill me every time and it doesn't help that I'm a wizard.

Castlevania: Symthony of the Night on Saturn.
For that matter, try Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance1 &/or 2. 2 is pricier & a bit harder to find & something about it didnt feel quite right to me.
Champions also has a sequel, Return to Arms. There are 2 additional races to play as, or you can use your existing Champions character!
Personally, once I kill a monster dead I prefer it stays dead. ;)

Man this game is amazing. The attention to detail throughout the game makes it good. Great level design(though most is from Chrono Trigger regularly and not that much is new.) The game is a little hard though, not too hard, but I have almost died each dungeon area I've went through.

SMT Devil Summoner 2-PS2
This is my first entry into the SMT series, and I'm hooked. It's a shame a majority of the games are so expensive >.<.
Got back into Wii Endless Ocean as promised- hooked up my mp3 plyr & used a custom playlist. The game's really easy to get back into, havent played it for months & it seemed like I didnt miss a beat. I always feel like I accomplish something whenever I play it- whether it's 20 min or 2 hrs.
Also picked up PS2 TimeSplitters ($3) today. I got it on Launch Day w/ my PS2 & yrs later the PS2 began DREing. I thought it was the game so I passed it on to my nephew. I'd gotten thru it anyway, but now I think it'll be fun after a rough day at work or something.

Chrono Trigger Prophet's Guile and Chrono Trigger Crimson Echoes.
Got to a part on Prophet's Guile where the game blacks out when played on my PSP. I'm going to play the game on my PC to get past that part but for the time being, I'm having alot of fun with Crimson Echoes.
I haven't really noticed any bugs during Crimson Echoes. The game itself really isn't as good as Prophet's Guile, but perhaps it's because PG fits so well from where you fight Magus to where you acquire Magus over CE being a new story and trying to link it to Chrono Cross(which they do pretty well, so far atleast.)

Sounds like you really enjoy it. Reccommended? I always was interested, but never really knew what you did.
It's definitely NOT for the fast-action gamer. It's slow, long, even educational in that you take photos & catalog species that you find. There's always something to do/tasks to complete (find a certain fish, take someone diving, etc.) If you like exploration, oceanography, or nature in any capacity w/ NO danger of dying, it's awesome.
A Ps2 equivalent is Everblue 2 by Arika, the same company that did Endless Ocean.
