I got a surprise package a couple days ago, so I've been playing Growlanser: Heritage of War and Soul Nomad for PlayStation 2, as well as Odama on GameCube. Maybe it's just me (and because I haven't read the manual yet, heh) but Odama seems really hard, but I'm having a blast screaming into the microphone. :P The PS2 games both seem like they'll be very satisfying RPG experiences too.

My French Coach (NDS)-I'm about done with 6 or 7 lessons and I'm just trying to keep things steady. I try to play about a half-hour every other day or so, so it can prepare me for University classes next semester.
Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)-I haven't played this much in the last few days, thanks to studying, etc. I did beat the main game the other day and am around 70 or 80 stars at this point.
We Love Katamari (PS2)-I finally got around to unlocking the Rose mission after finding all of the cousins. I probably won't be playing this much anytime soon after unlocking the Roses. I'm getting tired of playing this after 2 solid days of action. I've got around 40,000 roses and that is making things rather tedious.
My wife is currently playing My Sims (Wii), and I'm expecting Table Tennis (Wii) from gamefly. Now that MLB Power Pros (Wii) is on sale, I'm gonna pick that up and/or the Wii Zapper this week with my $25 Toys R Us Gift Card and some cash.

The kids (ages 7 & 4) and I have been playing Jak and Daxter: The Precusror Legacy and Grandia III. I dug out my copy of a Playstation game caller Arthur .... something something since she has been getting sick of Dog's Life. My son plays Burnout 3 quite a bit. Mainly the Single Event Road Rage levels.
I've been sticking with the PS2 lately and it will probably stay that way until either the Xbox 360 becomes a stable machine or the PS3 drops a bit more in price. I'm really pulling for the 360.
My friend got me NHL2K7 PS3 for my birthday so I'm playing a bit of that. My wife bought me Legend Of Dragoon (sealed) today for my PSX collection, so I'm naturally going to crack that open and enjoy it all over again......probably after I finish my WD Arc The Lad boxset....maybe.

COD3 with my Son for several hours after Cooking Dinner
He did very well, well enough that at the end of the game they were telling him that.
I finished my last game with a score of 109,top of the list..the enemy leader had 107
The outnumbered us two to one at times..We lost BAD..I scored the flag just once them 9 times.
I played the Darkness on the PS3 last night.
I like the game,I like the story and the nice looking envirments..Man this game looks and sounds sweet on the PS3..I love the real TV shows within..I actually sat down on the couch with the charactters girl and watched a whole old TV shown through..
I'm not fully used to the controls and using the thing on my back is still abit of mystery to me.
I may play it later tonight...I want to play this game through..
Though I don't know if I'll ever fix this,I just want to add..
Ok,with the PS3,I have it online disabled..if I enable it it shows up on my network map on the computer side..Both 360s showed up on that side then eventually moved over to the left/other devices.
I can see thier IPS and MAC address
If I don't try to sign in the PS3 everything stays ok,if I sign in it knocks off my Sons 360 and the router.(Wired or wireless)..Yet the PS3 fails to go online either way.
I originally thought the PS3 and Sons 360 were trying to use the same IP but they don't..
With the old router this all was fine and when the security was off on the router.Do I have to have the security off the add the PS3 in..
I use a Linksys WRT54G..I can only add a computer or device

Crazy Balloon for the PS2 (on Taito Legends 2). It's this quirky little game where you guide a balloon (natch) around a series of mazes, trying not to hit the edges. As the levels progress, the overall maze begins moving, and the individual parts that the maze is made out of begin moving as well. Weird little game. It seems super hard at first, but gets easier as you get used to the controls and strategies. It's also strangely addicting.

DS Spirits Volume 3: Block Kuzushi (DS)-I only played this for a tiny bit and I like what I see. You can tilt the paddle and make it go fast or slow horizontally. I only paid $15 for it and I think it's worth it as a Breakout clone.
Link's Crossbow Training (Wii)-Picked up the Wii Zapper yesterday and I'm enjoying this game a bit. I've almost gotten the game beaten but I'm going through older levels to beat my scores.
House of the Dead (Saturn)-Popped this in the other day and had a blast with it. I wish this had the option to save high scores but oh well. I had some problems with the calibration of my Sega gun but I got those solved.
I'm probably going to pick up either MLB Power Pros or Excite Truck, as they're both on sale in my area. Excite Truck is on clearance at my local Target for $25 and I'm not sure which game to get. Any advice is appreciated. I'm also going to buy Spy Games: Elevator Mission at Best Buy tomorrow for $10 and Ghost Squad when I get paid next week.

I finally got in my box of imports that I bought some time ago (actually, the shipment was exceptionally fast, it just took a long time because I was slowly adding more items to my order over the course of a few weeks), so I gave them all a try. I didn't get anything too remarkable, just cheap stuff. The main purpose of my order was to get Fuurai no Shiren 2 for N64. I've been wanting that game for years, but I didn't want to shell out 30 bucks like I usually saw. I finally landed a really good deal on it, and now that I've had a chance to play it, I think it actually would've been worth paying those previous prices. It's a really excellent game, and these rogue-type dungeon crawlers usually don't appeal to me much. I already have the first Fuurai no Shiren on Super Famicom, but that one just didn't capture me as much in the little bit of time I put into it. I don't have the time to seriously start the N64 game just yet, but I have played it a lot more than I usually do when testing out games. The dungeon exploring is pretty addictive, and the graphics are really beautiful for N64. It's got some excellent music by Dragon Quest's Koichi Sugiyama as well. I didn't even know he did this game until I saw his name on the title screen.
Also tried out Dark Half for the Super Famicom, another game I've been meaning to get for years. Pretty interesting concept how half the game you play as the hero and the other half you play a guy that's essentially Satan. It's so sadistic taking the Satan guy into villages and watching the townspeople scream and crumble into a pile of bones after you talk to them. :P The music and visuals so far leave a little to be desired, but it's definitely something I'll have to put more time into eventually. I also find it fascinating that it was created by Westone, the same developer responsible for the Wonder Boy series. Talk about a change of pace.
While I still had my modified SNES hooked up, I decided to play some Pop'n TwinBee. Even though I was out of practice, I played through the entire game and managed to beat the game on difficulty 3 for the first time. I know, I suck. :P Next up I'll have to try difficulty 4, the default "normal" setting.
Other than those, I picked up some random PC Engine stuff. Sol Bianca has to be the ugliest game I've ever seen on the system, possibly the ugliest RPG I've ever seen period, and to add insult to injury, it's an a freakin' DISC, not a hucard. Also picked up a couple simulations - Princess Maker and Sotsugyou II (AKA Graduation II). I barely did anything in Princess Maker, but I played all the way to the end in Sotsugyou II. Something is strangely addictive about those games, even if you don't know half of what you're doing. I was such a crummy teacher that two of my students dropped out permanently, but I seemed to do a decent job keeping the smarter, more reserved girls happy. I just wish I understood the game a bit better. Dating sims are a little more self-explanatory than teaching sims, I think.
Speaking of my PC Engine, I was having a strange problem with my Duo-RX. It kept thinking the tray lid was still open. I unhooked it and poked around, not really doing anything in particular, and I got it going again when I plugged it back in. *shrugs* I hope I don't have a serious problem with it down the road. I played a tiny bit of Super Star Soldier on hucard and Monster Lair on CD just to test things out before getting to my new stuff.
I also played an hour or two of Final Fantasy III on DS. I had to return a game at a GameStop, and since I've never done a return with that chain before, I didn't know if they were only going to give me store credit or what so I went in there expecting to buy a game. Turns out I didn't have to use the money as store credit, but I figured I get something anyway. I wanted to pick up Etrian Odyssey, but they only had the display copy left and I'm not about to buy those at the full MSRP. Final Fantasy III had been marked down 10 bucks, so $30 wasn't too bad. I figured my boyfriend and I could use something for our new DS other than Contra 4, and I'm interested in playing through FFIII at some point considering I beat Final Fantasy II via Final Fantasy Origins a couple summers ago and the first Final Fantasy on NES before that. I'm slowly working my way numerically through the series. I like what I've seen so far since it's still decidedly old-school. The graphics and music upgrades are very nice too, contrary to what I've heard from some people.

Test Drive Unlimited - PS2
Argh, so I bought a new game before I've gotten all the stars on Mario Galaxy. But its really good. The graphics are horrible but you can tell they would be excellent on the 360. This seems more of a driving game than a racing game but saying that, now I've put the race difficulty on hard and got further i've found some really nice tracks and you have to race them really really well in order to beat cars that are up to 3 classes better than your own. I started with a black Saturn Sky Roadster and now have a dark blue Nissan Skyline GTR and have put in about 10 hours in this game. Fantastic. I'm also up 2 levels to Pro and have stacks of cash and free cars i've never tried.
Yosumin DS

Haven't played this for ages because it frustrates me that he never creates new games for me (i'm only on screen 2 out of 6) so I changed the system clock and tried for a while and woo, finally a new game! Its pretty good, the ever-lovable Poke-Kun is sky-diving and you have to avoid the missiles and birds and collect the balloons. So, I got a PC Engine. Along with 16 games. I think it has an RGB mod. Anyway, my first annoyance was that it comes with a US-style plug (though still 220V) and wouldn't fit in my universal plug adaptor due to these stupid plastic bits meaning it wont sit flush. So i had to take the back off my plug adaptor to plug it in. Then it worked, and i was happy. I put in loads of the different hucards and watched the demo screens. The immediate thing which strikes me over modern systems is how you turn it on and its straight on the main menu, no going through lots of company logos, its very instant. The thing is so small as well, the size of 3 CD cases. Anyway, so I decided to give a game a go, one of many vertical shoot em ups i have, and i thought, oh, i can't move up the screen, only left and right. But when i died, i spawned in the centre of the screen and could move down. Oh dear, seems like my controller isn't working i thought. So i tried a football game as you can definitely move in all directions there and that wouldn't even let me start the game as it appeared one of the buttons wasn't working. After some slight initial panic/annoyance, i decided to open up the controller and it all looked fine, and then i blew on both ends of the pad connector, replugged it and off i went, and it worked fine! So the only game I actually played a game, just the one to test it was working:
Formation Soccer: Human Cup '90 - PC Engine
I did England vs East Germany and it seems like each game lasts 10mins. Got slaughtered 8-0 first half while i figured out what was going on. Then a nice little surprise came at half time when it shows you this TV screen and you can change channels and watch things like the news, the weather, a wrestling match and a live concert. A very nice surprise. Then it was time for the 2nd half and as i'd figured out a bit better how to play i only let in 2 goals, still didn't score any though. There was my first PC Engine experience as I really didn't feel like playing much, just wanted to make sure the system worked.
Super Mario Galaxy - Wii
So i played this instead. Only 3 stars. One very quick race level and 2 on the Dreadnaught galaxy which were felt most excellently 2D. I've still got 23 stars to go however, i dislike the whole idea of the purple coin challenges...

Fun and very humourous platformer. I suck though and didn't get very far.
F1 Circus - PC Engine
This seems to have all the elements of a real F1 sim, you race over a whole season, have to qualify, have the pits and wear on vehicle parts and can tweak your car, yet it is a top-down overhead racer. I initially thought it was really fast and impossible, then realised you have to slow down properly for corners. So i didn't finish the first race of the season and then in the second race, got on the podium, ace. Then i accidently found out what the soft-reset button combination was...

So, after level 40 you do 5 levels of climbing up the stairs at the top of the tower. Which were very fun and very easy. The final stage was a joy, requiring you to use one of the "wild card" pieces and then also to get a "Yosumin" (clear the whole screen in one). And then it was game complete! Not bad for a short train ride. I still have the "challenge" levels to go though. What this game needs is an endless mode and/or a timed mode like in Zoo Keeper.
Super Mario Galaxy - Wii
Just two stars but were they hard. I got a hidden one (which was the second in that type of game and I couldn't do the first one so don't know how I managed this one) and a rock solid purple coin mission which took me maybe up to 45mins or so. It was a good sense of achievement afterwards. It was also very very 2D.

See above... however, the dragon seems to move very sluggishly and I wish I had an auto-fire pad, or a stick, the position of the dpad and buttons on the PC Engine pad are too low down and make my hands feel funny.
Touch de Rakushou! Pachi-Slot Sengen: Rio de Carnival - DS
So, I thought I'd try out the minigames, which were blackjack, spot the difference, and a kind of scratch to reveal the image underneath. They were dissapointingly few levels in each of them. So i finished all those and unlocked all those images of the semi-naked anime girl. I then tried out the main part of the game - the slot machine. And there are 50 million option screens, one of which seemed to show you all the winning animations and there is also an autoplay option where you don't even need to hit any buttons. Anyway, somehow I got hooked on the slot machine for about half an hour, trying to manually hit the 3 "rio" symbols. I could never get the 3rd one to line up...

I got a long ways to go before I rank up in Burnout: Revenge, so I better get crackin'. I need to get back to Riviera: The Promised Land. Panzer Dragon II: Zwei also needs attention.
Pokemon Sapphire. Decided to restart and see how far I can get with maxing my starter before the first gym....

Let's see....
PlayStation-Final Fantasy Anthology, FFVI.
PSP-Castlevania, the Dracula X Chronicles. (If you don't own it, buy it or put it on your Christmas list. It is well worth the actual retail price of $29.99 US plus tax. And then some.)
DS-Castlevania, Portrait of Ruin.
