Spent some time playing Dracula X (SNES) in preparation for the PC Engine version, which I should be receiving later this week. I know that they're not quite the same game, but the SNES version is still pretty fun and definitely worth playing.

I got my copy of the PC Engine game last year and I haven't regretted it since. It's legendary for a reason. Hope you enjoy it :)

I actually found it at a closing video store back in the day! It was in fantastic condition with all of the inserts and the plastic cart bag (except for the rental sticker), but I had to buy a manual off of ebay. I've never seen a copy in the wild since. I've thought about getting rid of it every now and then...who knows, maybe for the right price I will ;)

Yeah, it can be a goddamn difficult game at times, but that's how I like them!

Red Dead Redemption and Sacred 2 on the PS3. I'm not really enjoying Red Dead Redemption as much as I liked GTA4 though I thought I'd enjoy it much more. It's a great game, easily, but there's a lot not to like. The world is beautiful and being western themed, it's obvious that there's not much going on outside towns, but that sort of desolation does tend to be boring when you're riding back and forth repeatedly. The extra stuff you can do is no different than the extra stuff on GTA, but to a much smaller extent. Busting bronco's, doing night watch, playing cars, definitely isn't as fun as competing in races, going to gang shootouts, etc. Great game using an updated version of the same engine, just not as good in my opinion. I've yet to play online though so this is only based off single player and I've played 20-25 hours.

Final Fantasy 12 is currently on hold until I beat Red Dead Redemption, but when my best friend is available I'm playing Sacred 2 because I got him to pick it up.

Took FFTactics War of the Lions out and replaced it with Yggdra Union. Playing it when I'm out or not wanting to put any time into Red Dead Redemption.

HAHAHA, I thought it sounded a bit like ol' Marty Funkhauser as well. If only....

Lately I've been playing a ton of Sunset Riders, but ATM I'm in a TOTAL limbo as to what to play. Suggestions? (PS3/Wii/NES/SNES/Genesis) - my collection's pretty elementary, but I've got some good'uns.

Decided to go old school in playing Dolphin, Chopper Command, Atlantis, Dodge 'Em and Megamania on the 2600, Venture and Congo Bongo on the CV and Armor Attack and Berzerk on the PARAJIVE Vectrex emulator.

I also played MLB '10: The Show and 3D Dot Game Heroes on the PS3.

One thing I hate are trophies/achievements for doing something bad. I earned "The Choker" trophy for blowing a 2 run lead in the 9th and losing the game. You shouldn't be rewarded for incompetence.

I'm going through three of the contenders for GOTY 2010: Red Dead Redemption (PS3), God Of War 3 (PS3) and Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii). At this point, I'd have to give the very slight edge to SMG2. The N64 version of Bangai-O took me a little while to get used to control-wise, but now I rather like it. It's one of my favorite N64 games. Harvest Moon I picked up a few weeks back but haven't had the time to pop it in. I may have to try this one soon as well!

Also, I plan on opening my copy of Super Mario Galaxy 2 very soon (finally!), and also starting Morrowind for the first time.

I've been playing Pursuit Force on the PSP. Game is part racing, third person shooter, and rail shooter. When driving and chasing opponents, it's also similar to Just Cause where you take jump from your vehicle to theirs and take control.

The game is fairly difficult on some of the later stages in the game. I've finished every stage and I've only got one that I can play in order to proceed to any later stages. It's the final stage of a specific gang and I can't even get the boss down to half health before he escapes the area. So far I've got A rank on every other stage in the game.

Good game. The main problem it has are the initial load times between stages which is 10-15 seconds. It loads once though and doesn't load again even between different check points(changing to a different section like driving to shooter.) If you restart a stage it's pretty much instant, so only when you load each stage takes any amount of time.

So far put a little over 10 hours into Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. Other than the first hour or more that I put in the training section after I opened the game, this is really the first time I've actually put in some real time and played a Monster Hunter game. Great game if you ask me.. The weapons are very different, where each has its weaknesses and strengths so they're all pretty much just as useful as the next. There's a lot of different traps and items to use depending on how you want to play.

I haven't killed any of the harder monsters in the game, however I have done quite a few of the boss hunts. When you forget to throw a paint ball at them it's like, awww da**, but you find them again and then you get back into it and try to kill them. Finishing off a boss hunt is an great feeling as well because when you beat a boss in Monster Hunter it's because of skill, not because you had to go and get experience points and then come back later.

One thing about Monster Hunter Freedom Unite. The camera sucks balls.
