I started a similar topic at another site and it's very interesting to hear what everyone is playing everyday./daily weekly etc..etc..

What games are you deep into at the moment..?

I've been playing Rainbox Six 3 on the XBox but,
I needed a break and started playing these old (never played/on shelf)games today..

It's kinda funny, but I went to the local comic book store and bought a bunch of old "Sgt. Rock" comics. (used to read my uncle's when I was a kid). Well, I got kinda excited about the whole WWII thing, that I went out and bought Medal of Honor, MOH: Underground, and MOH: Frontline. Playing them all, then I'm gonna go out and pick up the new MOH: Rising Sun.

And, to make it even more fun, I'm screaming out Sgt. Rock phrases as I play!

"Eat dirt, Easy Compnay! Kraut potato masher coming over the hill! BUDDA BUDDA BUDDA!"

Drives my wife nuts.

MAME: sudden crazy addictions to Roc 'n Rope and Elevator Action. I don't know. I think the beer triggers off certain impulses that "stick" when I sober up.

PS2: Black & Bruised. I haven't gotten this much use out of a $6.99 game in a long time. I really enjoy it.

Xbox: SSX 3. I'm gonna unlock everything, goddamn it. And I was truly inspired at PhillyClassic last year when I watched Cassidy Nolen's wife play this game - I had never seen such expertise in SSX and have been practicing regularly ever since. I plan on challenging her next time we meet!

DC: not as much as I'd like but have been dabbling with I-Spy... I didn't really "get it" when I first acquired the game but now given more time I'm starting to get into it.

GC:
- Zelda 2! I got the GC bonus disc a couple of days ago, and I don't know what happened....I found myself suddenly in the Midoro Palace with lil Link. :) I played it the last time in 1990.
- SSX. I bought the game (together with NFL2K3 and Tony Hawk 3) for the 10yr old son of a good friend who will get a GC for Christmas. The first snowboarding game I played...not bad at all. :) The tricks you can learn, unlock items, races...I'll certainly buy SSX3 when it drops in price.

PS2: Devil May Cry 2 which finally is available for $20. Yep, it lacks the immersing atmosphere of the first one, but I have to play it in order to honor the fantastic prequel. :)

I'd really like to play the new Crimson Skies for the XBox, but like always...I'll wait until I can get it cheap. :)...additionally, I'll go back to Germany right after Christmas for three weeks, that means a three week non-gaming streak for me.

I've been dropping hours upon hours on Cardfighter's Clash Capcom for quite a while now, up to 44 hours of play so far. On my Pocket PC I've played a lot of emulated Sim City and even Kirby's Adventure. And every once in a while, my favorite Atari VCS game emulated: Bowling.

This reminds me, I need to boot up Animal Crossing again, haven't so far this week.

Mainly Castle Crisis (Atari 8bit computers) right now. It's an excellent pick-up-and-play game when you don't have much time. Of course, it's also one of those, "Oh. . .just one more round. . ." type games. So it eats up more time than you might expect. :)

Pinball of the Dead - GBA SP

Are you referring to the spelling.."everyday"..."every day" :D

I only ask because if it's wrong I'll fix it...But I run everything I write through a spell checker and it says it's spelled "everyday"

I recently discovered Crystalis for the first time, and it's great! Where has this game been hiding all my life? Another new found 8-bit treasure is a game called Milk and Nuts (or is it Nuts and Milk?) that is contained on my 42 in 1. It's an early era famicom game and it's really fun and addictive.

Shadowrun (SNES)

Nice, so I'm not the only one on a Shadowrun kick

Mine are
Shadowrun (SNES, scary how I've been flying through the story after 10 years)
Escape from Monkey Island (PC, didnt know there was a game patch, before it was impossible to get one of the steps to work, I HATE that)
Gran Turismo 2 (PS1 because it has my car in it and I found out the cougar was going to be in 4, getting real pumped)
StarFox (SNES)
Earthbound (SNES, owned this for a year now but hadnt played it since it was released)

Recent rentals:
Manhunt (PS2, awsome)
Monster Ranchers 4 (PS2, sat up till 6am last night playing this one, big fan of the series)

Gamecube: Dragon's Lair 3D

I like it, first of all just because it's Dragon's Lair. I'm not much on the fighting system (regardless of what attacks me, they get the first swing on me), but I like the puzzles. As I've said before, I don't mind figuring out puzzles as long as I know what the puzzle IS! I also like the inclusion of some of the original sound effects and the familiar skull-to-Dirk animation.

PC: bit of Counter-Strike now and then, with the warcraft 3 mod :P

Genesis: Phantasy Star 2. I'm able to go to Dezolis now; but I can't talk to the Dezos. Interestingly, I found a clone lab with a normal human attendant and cloned somebody there...so in theory I can keep playing indefinitely (have people clone there and work from the HP and TP I get back), but it doesn't work that way in practice :P Lots of fun otherwise, and I discovered I like the original overworld music there better than this silly OC Remix (Dezoris Winter by GrayLightning) I've been listening to :)

Do Gameboys ever just 'die' after a while? I have a second-hand Gameboy pocket -- the screen is dimmer than it used to be, and the volume seems low. I tried replacing the batteries, and that helped some, but not as much as I'd expected it to.

Tetris is a very good reason for the Gameboy to exist, but to me it's also the only reason. So putting down the Gameboy, I discovered the joys of Puzzle Bobble Mini on my Neo Geo Pocket Color, and have been playing it a ton over the last few days.

Then we played Spongebob Squarepants and the Flying Duchman (PS2 also). By "play" I mean he made Spongebob walk in a circle for 15 minutes, occasionally jumping.
