I've been playing Tiger Woods 2003 on the GAMECUBE as of late. The game is very addictive. I've also been playing Ys: Book I & 2 on the Turbo Grafx; Prince of persia on the PC, Ys VI on PC(Its in japanese) and Return to Castle Wolfenstein in multiplayer.

Ok..I'm stuck on a Shooting level in Maximum Chase...

I can't get past the Helicopter..
My car gets too banged up before I reach that boss..
(I need codes)

So I've resorted to playing the first level over and over with the Camaro..

Basically there is no time limit..you just have to keep your car intact and keep moving..
I go all the way to the jump that starts an ending sequence and I turn around and drive all the way back to the beginning,sometimes taking other streets to the left or right creating accidents over and over..
This must something that can be done because the enemy cars just keep coming and they chase you both ways..

It fun as heck to fly through the streets and make them crash into things causing explosings etc..

When my figers started hurting from doing that I started playing Crimson Skies again..

I have tapped up a vein and stabbed into it Zelda: WindWaker, also dabbling in Majora's Mask on my GC promo disc (Only one I haven't played in the whole series) and it's really kind of a) annoying and b) prone to crashing. Gr.
Zelda: WW is awesomely awesome and full of rocketsauce.

Just finished the original Legend of Zelda courtesy the GC bonus disc. Will probably start Zelda II sometime soon.

I'm slowly but surely working on Metroid Prime. Occasionally playing Ikaruga and Viewtiful Joe. I just got a WaveBird and *man* is it freaking amazing - all controllers need to be wireless!

And LOTR: Two Towers on my PS2 (which is connected to the TV in my bedroom - man, nothing is finer than never having to leave bed).

I got a pair of SNES games in the mail today, Yoshi's Cookie and Cacoma Knight in Bizyland (weird game) and I've been playing both of those the last hour or two to check them out...Yoshi's Cookie is a Tetris-like game...it's also one of those "I'm just gonna play one more round" kind of games...and the next thing you know it's an hour or two later.

I played Crimson Skies through the new year ball drop..

Well I was using the Brigand plane and I just let it fly around by pressing the X to use the rear turret..(while the ball fell etc)
It's sort of like the plane is on auto pilot..
You could leave it like that for the longest..


I'm at the Lost City level and with all the air brake holding it really made my thumb hurt..

Finished Crimson Skies..

I started playing Rainbox Six 3 again...I think I'm on the last level..

Tomorrow night I'm going to EB to get something new..time to use up some of the Christmas Gift certificates. :P
While,the"to be played" pile collects more dust.. :-P

The major gaming acomplishment I made today was this project I was working on....


I finally went through with linking up an US Neo Geo AES system to a Neo Geo MVS arcade machine..
"AES to MVS link up"
I used a US AES Riding Hero Cart & a Japanese MVS Cart..

My US MVS Riding Hero Cart is dead,(old Neo Geo.com topic)I Tested in the new Candy cab and it doesn't work.

I put the Link cable that comes in with the AES Riding Hero Game in the inner input socket on top of the MVS Riding Hero Cart,and in the only whole that the AES cart has..

NOTE: I set the Uni Bios settings in the Candy Cab to US Console Mode..I didn't try it any other way..yet..

I'm using a 4 slot board with an UNI BIOS chip..The MVS Riding Hero Cart was in slot one of the 4 slot board.
I used my older/used AES system...

I turned on the Cab and AES system together..
I selected Multiplayer game in the Riding Hero selection screen on the cab and it said (Just a Moment)
Then I did the same on the AES system...Nothing happened..It didn't recognize the AES.. though the screen on the AES said (Just a Moment)and I pressed start on both games..

So I started the Game on the AES first choosing Multiplayer and then on the cab and to my amazement it worked..

I don't know why it didn't work the other way around..It only would work if I started the game through the AES first.
Maybe I need to switch the Link Cable into the outer port of the MVS cart..?or my timing was off.
I didn't have someone here to actually try it with me so I just let the Bikes run by themselves running off the road etc..
I'll set this up again and see how fun it is to play against someone else and update.
The next game I do this with will be League Bowling..

I want to try MVS to MVS to AES soon..then MVS,MVS,MVS -AES..I can't do MVS,MVS,AES-AES like I would like to because the AES Riding Hero carts don't have two holes in them.

The only thing I need is more carts and link cables,but I have to see first if it'll work without the UNI BIOS being set in the cab to US Console mode before I proceed with buying extra carts etc..

I finally found all the hidden packages, thats right all 100 of them. It was a great felling.

I played Neo Geo Riding Hero tonight with my wife,linking up the MVS to AES ..
It was a lot more fun playing this way..I had the lead and she passed me using Turbo and beat my ass at the finish line :angry:

Medal Of Honor/Rising Sun..

I'm a big fan of the Medal Of Honor games/series..and a War History buff...+ I love FFS..
My Grandfather was at Pearl Harbor during the attach and told me many stories before he past away..
His stories fueled my interest in War history..

But this game has just sucked butt for me,not because of the War history thing..it just sucks as a game.
I hate stupid AI and I can't stand when I'm standing right in front of an enemy shooting him and nothing happens..
I get clear head shots and it doesn't even touch them..

Otherwise I played through the whole "demo" of SpongeBob Squarepants in Battle for Bikini Bottom (XBox Magazine)and I had more fun play this then MOH.RS

Just finished Paper Mario, what a great game. Playing a Franchise on ESPN 2K4. Wario ware, SWAT: Global Strike Team, Eye Toy, and misc roms on emus. I'm sure there are several more I'm not thinking about. I have a stack of about 30 games that are half completed that I need to finish. I work on them a little at a time as I get time.

When I got home, I finally cracked open Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter (PS2) and Quantum Redshift (XB), two good titles for $5 each. BOF was probably the first RPG that didn't completely bore me to death, and Quantum Redshift was like "the little Wipeout that could." Good for a few minutes of winding down after work...

Also, I finally got into Deathrow (XB) after owning it for a whole year and never playing it. After I got the controls down, it became addictive. I like the swearing, gratuitous violence, and custom soundtrack support. I'd play more, but it's late...

Zork, HHGTTG, and Leather Goddesses on my Visor (got an 8mb Flash Springboard module for it last week at OfficeMax for $5!!!!!) .

I expect my DVD-ROM to be delivered today. Once it is, I can put it and a new 80g drive into my system, and load up 5 DVDs worth of MAME-meat onto the system and have fun! A game mentioned elsewhere in these forums (80's game ID - something rumble - speed rumble?) looked fun, as do most of the games being selected by the MAME club.
