Played a game of Blitz the League before returning the purchase to Hollywood for another game due to an extremely beat up disc (it was part of a 3 for $15 preplayed sale and was pretty much just a throw in as a bonus to the 2 games I wanted so I could get the savings)

The Club(I like this but I think I'd grow bored of it once blew threw once..I did play the one prison level three times over so...I dunno..I'd like to snag this for $39 somewhere

Condemned 2: Bloodshot(this intersts me...I still have the first game.new sealed that I never played..I think it would be best to play the first one first before buying this.

Was going to put these on Ebay, the xbox rep looking famicom game player has no power supply so it's waste.
The PsOne looking rep looking famicom game player actually works and has 76-1 games in it.

On Sunday, I played a lot of simple arcade games on the PS2 with my 6 year old cousin. She wanted to play the Wii, but I was down for the weekend and didn't have it with me. We played Arabian Nights on Taito Legends 2, Ms. Pac-Man on Namco Museum Anniversary and Rampage, Paperboy, Bubbles, Marble Madness and Robotron on the first Midway Arcade Treasures. She liked Bubbles and Robotron the best!

Last night, I played Marvel: Rise of the Imperfects on PS2. I went straight through the Thing's chapters quickly, but I got stuck when Wolverine has to battle the first Imperfect who does the teleporting and barrel tossing. Good looking game.

recent games Ive been playing:

Wild Arms 3 - PS2 - about 3 hours into this game and surprisingly I like it more than I thought I would since Im not a big fan of Cel shaded games.

God of War 2 - I just got a used copy (to replace my stolen one) and it freezes up right after the battle with the sisters of fate, Ive "resurfaced" the damn disc a couple of times and it still wont read 2 saves at around that point and stops loading in the same area UGH:bad-words:

Resident Evil 4 - Gamecube - FINALLY got the hand cannon and now playing through with that.

Ghost Rider - PS2 - yea yea I know the critics blasted this game but a friend of mine practically GAVE me the game and its a decent God of War Rip off, either that or its just that I like Ghost Rider...yea thats probably it.

I still had a hankering for Gate of Thunder on my PC Engine Duo-RX, so I decided to give it a serious attempt on Hard. I was doing pretty well at first, but it really ramped up on the fourth stage and I started dying over and over. I decided to call it quits.

I finally pulled out my Game Boy Advance SP again, and I played a tiny bit of Centipede via Atari Anniversary Advance. Nothing too impressive in terms of score, but I was expecting to be slightly rusty anyway. I also popped in Boxxle, and I managed to beat one more stage of the final set of eight. That leaves me with five left to beat, but considering how tough they are, it may as well be 500. :P I hope I can finally finish this game over the summer, when I should have plenty of time to devote myself to figuring out the last few.

Since last time:

Endless Ocean - Wii
A couple of friends have started games on my copy too. On my game I found the abyss and some ruins and a sperm whale and a whale shark. Amazing.

Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved - Wii
Beat my high score: 570,000 on my first attempt since playing a lot of Galaxies, it must've done me well. Also tried for that xbox360 pacifism thing where you don't shoot at all. That was very very fun

Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved - DS
Downloaded it on to my DS to continue and broke the 1 million point barrier!

The Typing Of The Dead - Dreamcast
I forgot how amusing this was. Annoying to set up in front of the TV with your lap or a table though.

Ikaruga - Dreamcast
Set up the monitor TATE style. Great fun but my Dreamcast is prone to resetting. I've ordered a new shooter as I haven't had a new Dreamcast one in ages. Mostly died due to flying straight into walls, doh

Psyvariar 2 - Dreamcast
Tried it out with the arcade stick but got knackered trying to keep the spin going and lost the rumble pack of the pad. So played with the pad again. I've forgotten what I used to do and didn't get very far, especially because I turn continues off and always die by going headfirst into enemies.

South Park: Chef's Luv Shack (PS1) - A lot of people hated this game for whatever reason, but every so often I'll play through a few rounds of the game because I like the old-school rip-off challenges.
Space Invaders (PS1) - This is the Activision update, and it isn't half bad. I got further on this one than I have on other Invaders games. Who knew Z-Axis (the team behind Dave Mirra BMX) made a Space Invaders game?
Metal Slug Anthology (PSP) -I beat Metal Slug 6 with unlimited continues this morning and unlocked the creator interview.
Persona 2: Eternal Punishment (PS1) - I hadn't touched this game in a while, but I finally figured out how to negotiate with the Persona to get the tarot cards.

Arkanoid DS
Forgot that I played this over the weekend. Tried out the Uranoid levels. A lot better than the standard ones but a shame you need to grind through the standard levels to win points to unlock them.

Psyvariar 2 - Dreamcast
I could get hooked into this again. Its a shame my high scores got wiped back when I used to play this. I think I've still kept a lot of all my maximum buzz scores somewhere though.

Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved - Wii
Argh! Almost beat my high score, just got 20k less by scoring 550k. I could go for it again.

Endless Ocean - Wii
I seem to be playing this to go through the story rather than just enjoy the fish. But I needed something to calm me down before bed after all those shooting games. Maybe its because i can get the fish looking enjoyment from watching my flatmate play it.

Mr. Driller - Dreamcast
Didn't do well at all, only about 400metres.

WarioWare: Twisted! - Game Boy Micro
So, my new (well, replacement for one which was stolen just over a year ago) Game Boy Micro Famicom Edition turned up. To test it out I put this in. No dead pixels and everything works fine, woo! I also managed to get the last Mona minigame which means I have completed the spindex, it also came up with a nice completion screen to tell me this. I have loads more souvenirs to unlock though and played with a couple of those until the little charge in the batteries ran out...

TriggerHeart Exelica - Dreamcast
Played it because of someone on videogamecritic.net forums. Didn't like it much although with the stick spinning is easier than on the pad. I've no idea what to do on the later levels. Its just not very fun for me.

Dotstream - Game Boy Micro
I've reordered most of the bitGenerations games I had stolen (mostly ones I haven't played yet!) but strangely played one of the ones I still had. Its very good still and the music is amazing. I may start carrying the GB Micro around with me. The screen is teeny tiny though, espeically compared to my phone's screen!

Another bitGenerations game. No music but every move has a funky sound effect. Its a match-3 style puzzler. The colours become very close together which makes your eyes hurt, especially for someone a little colourblind like myself. The second last Basic level was extremely hard, maybe taking 45mins! Don't know if I want to try the hardest one. I hope the advanced levels aren't as tricky

My boyfriend's little sister recently picked up Super Smash Bros. Brawl, so I've joined the masses and have been playing that a bit. I only really find it fun when we got a full group of four people. I'm not that great at these games, so I've developed a fondness for using Captain Olimar and trying to find good perches to "snipe" people with my Pikmin. Even if I lose, it's just too funny hearing everybody bitch about being swarmed with my Pikmin, hehe.

Other than that, I've only had some time for a little gaming on my Game Boy Advance SP. Just popping in the same old stuff that's been kicking around in my case for months (if not years). Some more Centipede via Atari Anniversary Advance, and I've also been playing the little trivia game for the heck of it. It's actually helpful for increasing my knowledge of that era, since I'm a little lacking in that area compared to gaming of Japanese origins. I also beat another level in Boxxle, which is awesome. Now I'm half way through the last set, with only four more to go.

I had another night of Super Smash Bros. Brawl on Wii with some buddies, but I just wasn't feeling it much. I got into a few one-on-one battles (after two other players were eliminated), which just doesn't suit Captain Olimar, at least with my lacking ability. It gets frustrating (and embarrassing) when you have a strong advantage in lives, and you still manage to get defeated. :/

I finally recharged my PSP and loaded up Star Ocean 2: Second Evolution, just to give it a whirl. No matter what Square Enix may claim, it's still just a port, enhancements or not, so, considering I've already killed the game, I don't think I'll put some serious time into the PSP version any time soon. I guess it's kind of silly to buy it at launch then, but tri-Ace is the only company I support in that kind of way.

I also have been playing a small amount of my Game Boy Advance SP here and there. I took a stab at my remaining stages in Boxxle, but I didn't get anywhere in them. I did, however, somehow demolish my old Centipede record in Atari Anniversary Advance, despite that I'm not in practice much. I believe my old high score was just shy of 50,000, while my new one is 58,160. I guess about 8,000 isn't HUGE, but it's a pretty big jump as far as I'm concerned.

And finally, my boyfriend's little sister really wanted to play Super Mario Bros. 3 since she never beat it herself, so I took turns with her for most of it. I normally have Mario OCD, hehe, which forces me to do every last little bit of the game, but she wanted to skip a stage here and there. We skipped the 7th world all together. I did most everything in the 8th world myself, including the final stage. We were playing my Famicom version, actually, and the extra challenge is almost a necessity for me at this point after God knows how many times I played through the game as a kid. It's the first time I actually beat the Famicom version. The last time I seriously played it (years ago) I think I played either up to or including the 7th world before I got sick of playing and turned it off.

The achievements are a nice little bonus to playing this on the 360 because it's making me do/find things I never did on the PC.

Well after years of owning the game, I've finally beaten God of War after re-playing it the past couple of days. While I really did enjoy the game much more this time around, I still found it to be a frustrating button-mashing mess at times and the first phase of the battle with Aeries really hit a nerve a few times.

I picked up God of War 2 today, since it dropped down to $20 the past week and was really the whole reason why I decided to finish the first. So far I'm really enjoying the game much more than the first, the battle system seems much more improved and some of the added abilities really help the game move more fluidly.

I've also been playing Rock Band a lot, although I've cut back on it the past couple of days.
