Kind of put FFXII on hold for the time being.
Still playing WoW as a level 44 Orc Hunter

And me and my grifriend just started playing these together:
- Legend of Zelda: Link to the Past
- Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

She's still kind of new to gaming so I like to help her out....any game she'll actually play is worth my time.

Got bored with:
PS2 Army Men Air Attack 2

Started to Play
PS2
Shinobi
Ahh the game starts off nice...I was ready for what looks to be a great game.
But I can't invert the right stick nor lower the music..I can deal with the music but trying to play with the right stick backwards drove me nuts...

Was going to start:
PS2 Nightshade but I have a terrible feeling the control optiions are going to be the same since both games are made from the same company(Sega)(?)

So I popped in:
Xbox Red Ninja-End Of Honor..
This game looks great,it starts off great ..I really like the look and music in this game...Reminds me of Last Blade Neo Geo..
I can invert the right stick but I still need to reverse the pitch I guess...Or it may be that I tried so hard to play Shinobi that I screwed myself up..

The Tutoral is rough ..The Camera is crazy,it keeps moving by itself where I can't see where I'm going..Trying to walk over a blank of wood slowly is impossible like this.
I don't know what's going on..The game feels very jerky,it's hard to move the charater slow,,She jerks around too fast,,I wish i could slow her movement.
I gave up after failing the swimming-sneak part in the tutorial over and over..

....................
I really want to play this game,so I'm going to start it again ..with fresh mind.
.Red Ninja
Updaded:..Tried that and the camera is driving me nuts.

This game reminds me of something...Tenchu?

Playing Zelda OoT via emulation so that I can abuse save states in the dungeons and also snap high resolution screenshots. Since the game came out I've started from scratch multiple times and always quit before getting the the red sacred jewel thingy early on, but recently picking up Twilight Princess encouraged me to give it one more shot so that I can finally move on and play Wind Waker and Twilight Princess.

Right now I'm finally up to the Forest Temple, and I still have a large number of complaints about the game, but it is getting fairly better since Link got big. All the same, the control and the camera both blow in ways only Tomb Raider previously blew.

God, I can't wait to play Wind Waker

As predicted, finals week is hell, but I'm squeezing in a little bit of gaming to keep from going insane.

I've been playing Wii Sports practically everyday since it's nice non-commitment gameplay. I should be finishing up Valkyrie Profile 2, but that's WAY too much of a commitment since just reaching the next save point often takes me a good couple hours and the whole experience demands more devotion than I'm able to give right now.

I also got a small SNES lot on eBay mainly just to get the copy of E.V.O.: Search for Eden in it. My interest in that game has only been mild over the years, but when I recently learned that the same developers made my much-loved Wonder Project J series, I had to get it. I'm up to the end of the dinosaur era, and I just got the bird form and went to the secret levels. At first I thought the game was kind of repetitive, but it's really growing on me now. It's not especially like the Wonder Project J games, though, except a little bit in concept and in story. Also from the SNES lot, I played a little of Castlevania 4, Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, Mega Man X, Xardion, Contra 3, B.O.B. (ugh), and Warlock (double ugh).

Been playing Outrun2006:Coast 2 Coast and Psychonauts on Xbox.

Outrun2006 is really fun in short bursts, particularly the Coast 2 Coast mode. So far I give it a 4.5/5.

Psychonauts has the humor and the voice acting, but sometimes the graphics don't quite reach the ambition of the art direction. It's addicting though, and I can't wait to play more. The underwater level is brilliant BTW!

Also tried out Beatmania on PS2. It's interesting but now dated compared to Guitar Hero and the like. Maybe it will grow on me...

Cheers,
Ben

More E.V.O.: Search for Eden on SNES for me. I'm in chapter 4 now and close to moving on to chapter 5, I think, after I beat this pain in the ass mother yeti. I evolved into a human, but I'm kind of bitter about it. I actually found the other mammal forms easier to use, and the game doesn't give me an option to revert back at all. I also can't really use the evolving trick to gain back life since the only thing I can mess with now is my size, which costs 1500 EVO points instead of changing the other mammals' neck lengths for a mere 200 points.

I'm game bored..

The Getaway,Black Monday....
The control is just awful..I got sick of the game by the third mission.

Red Ninja..I like the story, the look etc...But the constant moving around, not locked camera I just can't deal with.(frustrating
After trying to play this game I have a headache.

Just popping misc games in to see if I like any of them..

Bad Boys Miami Takedown..( the control I can deal with,It's ok..but this game is too repetitive...I can't see myself playing through it.
Bards Tail..Hmm,..This looks to be humorous but not a game I'm looking to sink my teeth into right now.
Lets see what else I've never tried.

I should just pull something off the shelf that is known to be good and play it..I just like keeping games in reserve.

I played the crap out of Centipede today in it thinking I have her beat. But when I went to put my name in the high score screen I find that her score is triple mine.

The only games I can beat her at is games of chance..So today I put up whopping high score in Royal Quest.(card game)

I'm at the final boss of E.V.O.: Search for Eden on SNES, and I'm more grumpy than ever about being a human. The boss really gets tedious after dying so many times since it's one of those "beat a whole string of bosses at the end of the game" kind of things, which I've never had much tolerance for. There's eight different parts, although a couple are freebies. I'm only having trouble with 3 of them, but they all show up in random order so it's a real pain if all the hard ones are saved for last and I instantly die once I get to them. If I was a different mammal, I could just change my neck length over and over to get life back, but as a human I get maybe one chance to change into a smaller form and get my life back. I'm almost to the point where I'm going to have to save up mass quantities of EVO points so I can change at least a couple times, but then I'll have to reset the system every time I lose. :/

Been playing Metroid II on the GB for the past few days at work. Haven't gotten far and keep dying but it's fun. I'm still trying to beat death in Castlevania DoS but the game keeps saying I screw up on the seal and it's the correct one, just not doing it in the right speed and in straight lines... Oh well, one of these times. Then I just started on Syberia earlier this week and it's real fun and not that difficult. Nice adventure game and is working out well on the new laptop. Then there's a bunch of other games I'm going to be trying to finish up before new years and begin on others.

I've been playing a bunch of various stuff but nothing seriously, which I supposed is expected around Christmas with all the new games.

I played a little bit more of Wii Sports, and I tried out Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter. I'm a little late to the party I guess, but I picked up Donkey Konga 2 with a pair of bongos. I can't help but have a smile form on my face every time I play, even if the song selection is pretty nauseating. I also played Guitar Hero II, which was one of my presents to my boyfriend. PC - The X-Files Game (http://www.amazon.com/Fox-Interactive-4104870-Files-Game/dp/B00000DMAN). 7 discs of interactive story goodness! Makes me long for the late 90s. Plays pretty spiffy on XP, although the waiting for stuff to load gets a little old even while running on a fast compluter. It has only crashed on me once so far. The software box is cool with nice art and contains a disc box which is set up like little case files. :)

DS - Started my new Catz game. Behold the cuteness! It's definitely geared towards a younger audience, but it's enjoyable. I never played the original Catz and Dogz PC games, so I don't know how it compares and I would still rate Nintendogs a lot higher on the fun scale.

Man, just as I'm starting to seriously get back into some games, I get hit with the third cold in the last 2-3 months. :( Now I hardly have the stamina or ability to concentrate on a game for more than 10 minutes.

Before this cold, I played more of Bust-a-Move Pocket on Neo Geo Pocket Color, and I beat both the versus mode and the normal puzzle mode. I played a little of Chibi-Robo, Custom Robo, and Battalion Wars on GameCube since I got them at the GameStop after Christmas sale. They all seem fun, but I think I like Chibi-Robo best. This actually isn't my first exposure to Custom Robo like I imagine it was for most Americans, since I imported the original N64 game a few years back. I'm pleased that the gameplay is almost identical, but, man, does the story blow. All they needed to do was make an innocuous plot that wouldn't get in the way of the robot battling, but the dialogue is so mind-numbing and the sound effects to imitate voices have got to be some of the worst sound effects I've ever heard. They're so exceptionally grating, and I can't believe no one in the development or localization of the game ever thought "hey, these sound effects are awful; let's take them out".

Anyway, I decided to finish up some loose ends, so I went back to E.V.O.: Search for Eden on SNES, and after saving up a bunch of EVO points, I was finally able to beat the final boss. I kind of feel like I was cheating using the evolution trick to gain back HP, but the more I think about it, the more I believe the developers gave you the option for a reason and intended for it to be used in that way.

Then I started up Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria on PS2 again, but I was already sick at that point and only played for a little bit. I'm in the final dungeon, so hopefully I'll wrap it up soon.
