I recently installed The Spirit Engine, which I believe is only the second, complete, entirely original freeware PC RPG I have ever come across. It's not too bad looking, either.

(Well, it is a Multimedia Fusion game, so I suppose it isn't entirely original, but it's quite an accomplishment, considering how many people release little demos of RPGs they are making and succeed in finishing them.)

Conflict Desert Storm (XBox).........

As many other games I've played after finishing this one & even playing Conflict Desert Storm II and finishing that..

This game doesn't seem so familiar..
I'm still going into a mission not remembering what I had did last time..
Walking around a corner and being surprised by an attack whereas the game feels new and things happen unexpected..

I suck at RPG's and I beat that game no problem. Awesome game, btw.

Anyways, I've been playin lots of the UT2k4 demo online. Actually doing pretty damn good. Finished off a round yesterday with a rampage to get the victory.

Also played some CvS2 online for the first time in a while. Got my ass kicked for the most part.

Fired up Mars Matrix on cps2 and died alot. :)

Mario RPG aside from DW1 is the only RPG I can get into. Must be the Mario theme. I plan on tackling Paper Mario and M&L soonafter.

Conflict Desert Storm (XBox).........

One of my favorite things is sneaking up to a tank and playing C4 near it,then sneaking away..

Boom!!!

The tank is actually trying to get me but I took out the top gunner with a Sniper before sneaking up to the tank..
It's having a hard time getting a shot but the turret keeps moving above me.

Sometimes I get caught and have to rescue the Demolitions soldier..
This makes it even more intense..

Sure I could blown the tanks up with a Rocket Launcher but that's too easy..
I like to attempt to do it the hard way..
It's even more fun to place a mine on the road..and wait as the tank comes driving up to you position..

I broke down and bought a Flame GameBoy Advance (Instead of importing the Famicom SP) and got SMB3.

I was just playing. I'm gonna have a hell of a lot of fun with this thing. :D

I've been sucked into the Natural Selection mod for Half Life again. MAN - that is one awesome game. I don't think there's a better team-based FPS / RTS out there.

Free Games of RAIDEN FIGHTERS...

Tonight I went to the Supermarket,while my wife grabbed a few things I hung out in the Massive frontal lobby area with my son where they have Arcade machines/Mini Kiddy rides Gum ball machines/Cranes etc..

They always have at least 5 Arcade machines in this area..They change them every few months..
Tonight as I walked in I didn't see any Arcade machines and was in wonder..and a bit disappointed.

What they did was move them now to the far side/around the corner of this big lobby.

The first machine I walked up to was a Generic Royal Blue Arcade machine with a Generic Marquee that said RAIDEN JET..
The plainest /nicely done machine I've ever seen..It was so simple and clean-neat..
The control panel was the same color as the cab,Royal Blue..plain..Just two Joysticks,One-Two player select buttons/and two fire buttons for each side..nothing else..& It only had one Coin slot.

The game however was RAIDEN FIGHTERS..
I'm staring at the screen thinking.."man no demo"..all it was showing was RAIDEN FIGHTERS on the screen with a flickering fiery background..

I almost walked away..but I wanted to see how the buttons and joys felt on this generic cab.
I press the 1 player game and the machine has credits in it and starts playing..Ha ha,,was I surprised..
So let me check this out..Free game what the hell..

This game ROCKS!!!

I never played RAIDEN FIGHTERS...I almost bought a whole cab a few weeks ago when I picked up the Neo Gold but I had to pass..I have no more room for anymore cabs.
I sort of wish I did though..It was offered to me at a cheap price.(kick myself)

Anyway..
What I'd like to know and buy if I can is a port of the game..or something very close.

Besides buying the PCB..
Are there any ports of this game available..

I thought Raiden Trad was a version of this game..

Been playing Yoshi's Island and SMB3 on my GBA all day. Looking for all the cool extras each game has. Plan on getting hopefully, Mario World and SMB2 tomorrow. I wonder how long it'll be before Lik-Sang ships my SMB. Can't wait to have all of the best Mario games at my fingertips.

Aside from the multitude of Raiden 1 ports and Raiden 2 being on Raiden Project, I don't know of any ports. Hell, last I checked only Raiden 1 was emulated on MAME.

After ending GTA III & Vice City, I totally got mega hooked on the Vigilante mode in both games. I think I'm up to about 112 bust so far in the Vice City version. The cop cars in this one tip over much easier than GTA III, but I'm used to it now.

I took a break from RotTK9 and played some Armor Battle on the Intellivision with a friend. Played a little bit of Space Battle and Tron Deadly Discs on the ol' Inty as well.

Now I know beyond any shadow of doubt that the version of Armor Battle on the Intellivision Lives PS2 disc is messed up.

I am trying to finish Hybrid Heaven, I got to the last boss and died, man do the end fights get cheap in that game. By the way that game has a great storyline and I recomend it. The game is getting hard and I'm losing track on what needs to be done to open certain Championship tracks...

I'm still having lots of fun with the game & I copied a bunch of CDs on the XBox Hardrive to listen to while playing the game..

The game lets you choose the background music from whateven you have copied to the Xbox..

It's Utterly Garbage..Not Horrible,but Garbage..
I like Terminator and I love FFS so I'm .."Trying" so hard to continue playing...Hoping to find some fun within this game.
I'm really trying to burn through the game and finish it..So I can get it over with..
I do think this game may be a bit more fun with an all weapons/Unlimited Ammo code.

The Intro Rocks...and after it played I was like "Ok this game I think is going to be Good"..
The infra Red view is different but not very useable.
The game is worth the $12.00 I spent on it...

Well..after hitting Blockbuster yesterday I still was thinking about a few other games I didn't get..

I went back tonight and spent $58.27..
I honestly just went back to get the Hulk(As I told my wife)and just kept picking up different games until I was happy with what I got.
If I get a few games for the price of one new game I'm very happy.
They have a lot of games I want but some of the prices are a bit high..So I wait..

Terminator 3 Rise Of The Machines a bit more using an All Future Weapons Code/Unlimited Ammo & Unlimited Continues..

Ok..I had a bit of fun with the game since I can still die and now can Blow Stuff Up...
Some of the weapons are cool..
I have to say peeking around a corner with a what I beleive to be a Rocket Launcher/Missile Launcher taking out all the flying vehicles is fun..
There are two types of a Rocket Launcher but one takes longer to load and will take down the large flying objects with one shot.
The Sniper Rifle isn't too bad either..

I'd say usuing the All Future Weapons Code/Unlimited Ammo is the only way to have any fun at this game...and manning the emplacement turrets as much as you can.
The game has a sort of Red Faction breakable wall similarity.
If you play with the Background Music up you will get the sense/reminder that your playing something Terminator.
Besides the few Arnold voiceovers..

Well,my Flea Market searches today wasn't as what I would of liked them to be..
My local flea market was packed with vendors but it was very windy and cold.
None of the vendors I know had anything in gaming for me..
Otherwise..
I picked up two New Sonic-Bath Bubbles handheld game look-a likes for $1.00 each..and a rare/vintage Coca Cola truck set for my wife.$8.00.
One vendor had a Commodore 64 boxed for $10.00..I passed,I don't need anymore of them.
Another vendor had a Boxed Genesis II for $20.00.Something else I passed on...I don't need anymore of them either.

Throughout the whole market I only found 1 NES cart..SMB/DH..nothing else...the place was dead for games.

So I took a ride over to the local Gamestop in the flea market area.and found they had a buy two get one free on used games etc..Sweet!
I needed another PS2 Memory card.(I have the Shark Port to store my memory card saves on my computer but it's a PAIN!!)
I was going to pick up Mafia for the Xbox,but it's new and didn't fall in the buy two get one free on used games deal.
So I bought

Fire Blade
XIII (Thirteen)
and got the PS2 Memory card for free..
I spent less than $40.00 and got all that,coming home happy..

The Gamestop Manager was extremely nice..(puts my faith back into Game stores a bit)
He had a BIG pile of computer games for a penny each..He told me they were a penny each...This guy was very nice to let me know what was cheap in the store.

Though they were all a penny each he was actually giving them away for free instead of trashing them..
He wouldn't let me take them all since he wanted to give other customers a chance...I can understand that.I would have to make a few trips anyway..but,
For a penny each I was willing to take everything he had.

Honestly..I lost interest in Terminator 3 Rise Of The Machines after playing for so long last night..
I do want to finish this game though..I have way to many unfinished games & to be played games.

Tonight I popped in SX Superstar ...
My Son laughs when I jump the motorcycle so I wanted to give him a laugh..
That lasted not long..
Ah..I'm not happy about the no-change of controller layout option..making the game a bit of a learning curve and no fun at start for a Dirt Bike game.
To the to be played pile it goes..

I played that game for about an hour then popped in

Lol..I started smashing things..and then shut the XBox off...
Eh....I'm not ready to get into this game yet..
