Today I had a go at the original Dance Dance Revolution for ps1 at my friend's house. After playing In the Groove on normal and hard mode, DDR was riduciously easy, even on the "expert" diffuculty. @_@

More Beyond Good and Evil
Some games I want to finish:
-Second Sight
I just finished the game about a week ago, and it was a truley great game. The ending ties up all the questions you might have about the flashbacks and the missions in the game. A true sleeper, even though reviewers gave this game a decent review, it never really seem to grab the attention of the gaming community. The Free Radical logo is quickly becoming a seal of quality IMO. I highly recommend you play this one through until the end.

I suppose I could post what I'm currently playing as well:
Punisher (PS2) - Pure sadistic/uber-violent fun. Only on the second mission, but so far I'm loving every second of it. The story and action stay true to Ennis's comic version and shows off his ability to turn comic books into an adult graphic novel.
Super Mario Bros (NES) - After reading several posts about people who shamefully admitted they had never beaten this game, I too decided to join the quest to conquer and complete this game from my youth. So far, only gotten to level 6-4 (without using the level warps).
Madden 2006 (Gamecube) - My son picked this one up with his birthday money, but hasn't gotten much play time due to the fact that I can't stand the controller setup for the Cube.

Currently I am now playing Madden 06. I don't like it as much as ESPN NFL 2k5, but I like the updated rosters. And hey, football is football. The features are great in this game. If only it had 2k5's awesome gameplay.

Played a bit of Meteos on the train then at home I tried out most of the MegaDrive games I bought. Most didn't grip me or were dissapointed (although Thunderforce IV seems good) until i played Sonic 2. After trying loads of different games after thunderforce i thought well Sonic will get me back into things, but i didn't enjoy Sonic 1 much, too slow, no spin dash. The music and graphics were nice though. I put in Sonic 2 and was loving it. I can see why people say its the best Sonic, Sonic 3 just seems a rehash of these levels. The special stages are the best also. I think I'll tackle Sonic2 and Thunderforce out of the MegaDrive games i bought

Currently playing:
PC - Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn
Excellent game! It's got such insane amounts of depth it's crazy. It took me probably about an hour just to figure out what kind of character to go with. After all that time I just ended up going with the Kensai Fighter Kit / Mage dual class. It's supposed to be extremely overpowered, but we'll find out soon enough.
PC - Curse of Monkey Island
This game is quite amazing. The graphics are very pretty and it has all the wit and charm of the previous monkey island games. I only played the game for about an hour when I first got it almost 10 years ago. Guess it's probably finally time to finish it. The dialouge is hilarious, especially from Murray the skull.

Bought 3 games for my Xbox yesterday. Star Wars Battlefront, which I had on PS2 but got rid of when I dumped that system. The Hobbit which I was told is very Zelda-ish. I was in the mood for a new "lite" game. I also FINALLY got around to buying Burnout 3. I'm a big fan of racers, but the idea of purposefully wiping out in a race never made much sense to me, so I avoided it. NOW I see why it sold a trillion copies and made just about everyone's favorites list. My replies to this thread will contain Burnout 3 for a VERY long time!!! :D

Galaxy Force II
Thunder Force IV
Sonic 2 (I love the casino level)
And then did the 2nd and 3rd championships in Le Mans 24 Hours on the Dreamcast. Working my way through them although now the tournaments are getting longer its going to be harder to get through them, especially as you can't save in the middle of them.
playing a little bit of Meteos finally (I got it weeks ago). Pretty cool game, but tough...

Man oh man. If you guys haven't played this game yet then you NEED to, especially if you want something "Ocarina-ish". They rarely make games this tight anymore. Everything...and I mean EVERYTHING is perfectly polished. Graphics, sound, story, control, camera, difficulty and fun factor are all 10 out of 10. It's one of those games where it's fun to switch into first person and just look around at stuff. It reminds me of the stuff that Rare produces.
I played it for 6 hours last night and never noticed the time.

I have just moved my tivo setup to the "fun" room with the PC in it, so I pretty much had to rewire everything that ran to my amp. So after doing a little moving around, I freed up some space and gave my DC a permanent home :D
