THPS2(PS1), Man this sucks compared to the DC version. LOL It's still alot of fun though, I just started my file and I'm working on getting 100% with Tony Hawk.
Twisted Metal 4(PS1), Ever have those games you used to love and now you realise how much they suck? Yeah this is one of those, I just messed around playing deathmatch on the Freeway level with some of the cheats on. And I realised how badly the controls, sound, gameplay, graphics have aged. TM2 is still the king. ;)
GTA:SA(PS2), Homie Roadtrips...
Silent Hill 3(PS2), This game is pretty good/scary so far, my only problem is the controls take some getting used to. Overall it seems to have the makings of a great horror game though.
Thief fun game I need more practice at being stealthy
Hitman 2 see above.

Well, we finally beat Super Bomberman today. Started playing Super Bomberman 2, but it doesn't have a 2 player co-operative mode, that was a disappointment for me.
I think it was Cracked8 ball who is playing Super Ghouls and ghost, nice choice, I have been thinking about that one lately, or else something from the Castlevania series.

WARNING ... New Credit Card Scam.
>>
>>Note, the callers do not ask for your card number; they already have it..
This information is worth reading. By understanding how the VISA &
MasterCard Telephone Credit Card Scam works, you'll be better prepared to protect yourself . . . My husband was called on Wednesday from "VISA", and I was called on Thursday from "MasterCard".
>>
>>The scam works like this:
>>
>>Person calling says, "This is (name), and I'm calling from the Security
and Fraud Department at VISA. My Badge Number is 12460. Your card has been flagged for an unusual purchase pattern, and I'm calling to
verify. This would be on your VISA card which was issued by (name of
bank). Did you purchase an Anti-Telemarketing Device for $497.99 from a marketing company based in Arizona?"
>>
>>When you say "No", the caller continues with, "Then we will be issuing a
credit to your account. This is a company we have been watching and the
charges range from $297 to $497, just under the $500 purchase pattern
that flags most cards. Before your next statement, the credit will be
sent to (gives you your address), is that correct?"
>>
>>You say "yes". The caller continues - "I will be starting a Fraud
investigation. If you have any questions, you should call the "800"
number listed on the back of your card (1-800-VISA) and ask for
Security. You will need to refer to this Control Number. The caller
then gives you a 6 digit number. "Do you need me to read it again?"
>>
>>Here's the IMPORTANT part on how the scam works. The caller then says,
"I need to verify you are in possession of your card". He'll ask you to
"turn your card over and look for some numbers". There are 7 numbers;
the first 4 are part of your card number, the next 3 are security
numbers that verify you are the possessor of the card. These are the
numbers you sometimes use to make Internet purchases to prove you have
the card.
>>
>>The caller will ask you to read the 3 numbers to him. After you tell the
caller the 3 numbers, he'll say, "That is correct, I just needed to
verify that the card has not been lost or stolen, and that you still
have your card. Do you have any other questions?"
>>
>>After you say No, the caller then thanks you and states, "Don't hesitate
to call back if you do", and hangs up.
>>
>>You actually say very little, and they never ask for or tell you the
Card number. But after we were called on Wednesday, we called back
within 20 minutes to ask a question. Are we glad we did! The REAL VISA
Security Department told us it was a scam and in the last 15 minutes a
new purchase of $497.99 was charged to our card.
>>
>>Long story made short - we made a real fraud report and closed the VISA account. VISA is reissuing us a new number. What the scammers want is the 3-digit PIN number on the back of the card. Don't give it to them.
Instead, tell them you'll call VISA or MasterCard directly for verification of their conversation. The real VISA told us that they will
never ask for anything on the card as they already know the information
since they issued the card!
>>
>>If you give the scammers your 3 Digit PIN Number, you think you're
receiving a credit. However, by the time you get your statement you'll
see charges for purchases you didn't make, and by then it's almost too
late and/or more difficult to actually file a fraud report.
>>
>>What makes this more remarkable is that on Thursday, I got a call from a
"Jason Richardson of MasterCard" with a word-for-word repeat of the VISA scam. This time I didn't let him finish. I hung up!
>>
We filed a Police report, as instructed by VISA. The police said they
are taking several of these reports daily! They also urged us to tell
everybody we know that this scam is happening. Please pass this on to
all your family and friends.

.................................................. ...............
THIS IS WHAT LOVE IS ALL ABOUT
It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30 am, when an elderly gentleman in his 80's, arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appointment at 9:00 am. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would to able to see him. I saw him looking at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound. On exam it was well healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his sutures and redress his wound. While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation I asked him if he had a doctor's appointment this morning, as he was in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife. I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she had been there for a while and that she was a victim of Alzheimer Disease. As we talked, and I finished dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him in five years now. I was surprised, and asked him. "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?" He smiled as he patted my hand and said. "She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is." I had to hold back tears as he left, I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought, "That is the kind of love I want in my life." True love is neither physical, nor romantic. True love is an acceptance> > of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be. With all the jokes and fun that are in e-mails, sometimes there are some that come along that have an important message, and this is one of those kind. Just had to share it with you all.
Oh, by the way, peace is seeing a sunset and knowing who to thank.
"The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything that comes along their way."
Please share this with someone you care about.

I've probably got around 25 floppys FULL of games from when we originally had the system years ago. I don't know how my Dad and half brother's copied games to disks back then but it's left me with quite a nice set ;D.
I also just finished up Arcanum for the pc. Really fun Fallout style RPG! Was worth the 15 or so hours I put in. You can beat the game extrememly fast using magic, but it's still worth playing.

GHOST RECON 2: XBOX
Awhile back I downloaded some new maps from an OXM demo disc for GHOST RECON 2.
To this day I still can't seem to figure out what they are....So tonight I deleted that saved download and downloaded it again..
Yet upon looking on the game menu I can't find these new maps and I've completed the game before this download.
I'm hoping I can find info in the magazine itself ....
Cold Winter:..I played a few more missions in this game tonight..I think the story is interesting and the look of it is nice..
What sucks in there is no adjustment for the vertical & horizontal movement speed.....I just can't get used to the lag feeling when moving the sticks...Shooting is more of a lift the gun toward and enemy, fire and drag/swipe it hoping to hit him/them plus there is no lean..
You can't lean around corners to pick off enemies...
Man does stupid simple things left out in games piss me off as this game could be so much better...Well the Enemy AI sucks but that's another story.
.......................................
Subject: True story!!
Do you like to read a good murder mystery?
Not even Law and Order would attempt to capture this mess. This is an unbelievable twist of fate!!!! At the 1994 annual awards dinner given for Forensic Science, AAFS President DR Don Harper Mills astounded his audience with the legal complications of a bizarre death.
Here is the story:
--------
On March 23, 1994...... the medical examiner viewed the body
of Ronald Opus, and concluded that he died from a shotgun wound to
the head. Mr. Opus had jumped from the top of a ten-story building intending to commit suicide..
----
He left a note to the effect indicating his despondency. As he fell
past the ninth floor, his life was interrupted by a shotgun blast passing through a window, which killed him instantly. Neither the shooter nor the deceased was aware that a safety net had been installed just below the eighth floor level to protect some building workers and that Ronald Opus would not have been able to complete his suicide the way he had planned.
-----
"Ordinarily," DR Mills continued, "Someone who sets out to commit suicide and ultimately succeeds, even though the mechanism might not be what he intended, is still defined as committing suicide." That Mr. Opus was shot on the way to certain death, but probably would not have been successful because of the safety net, caused the medical examiner to feel that he had a homicide on his hands.
-------
The room on the ninth floor, where the shotgun blast emanated, was occupied by an elderly man and his wife. They were arguing vigorously, and he was threatening her with a shotgun! The man was so upset that when he pulled the trigger, he completely missed his wife, and the pellets went through the window, striking Mr. Opus.
When one intends to kill subject "A" but kills subject "B" in the attempt, one is guilty of the murder of subject "B."
-------
When confronted with the murder charge, the old man and his wife were both adamant, and both said that they thought the shotgun was not loaded. The old man said it was a long-standing habit to threaten his wife with the unloaded shotgun. He had no intention to murder her.
Therefore the killing of Mr. Opus appeared to be an accident; that is,
assuming the gun had been accidentally loaded.
----
The continuing investigation turned up a witness who saw the old couple's son loading the shotgun about six weeks prior to the fatal accident..
----
It transpired that the old lady had cut off her son's financial support and the son, knowing the propensity of his father to use the shotgun threateningly, loaded the gun with the expectation that his father would shoot his mother
----
Since the loader of the gun was aware of this, he was guilty of the
murder even though he didn't actually pull the trigger. The case now becomes one of murder on the part of the son for the death of Ronald Opus.
-------
Now comes the exquisite twist... Further investigation revealed that the son was, in fact, Ronald Opus. He had
become increasingly despondent over the failure of his attempt to engineer his mother's murder. This led him to jump off the ten-story building on March 23rd, only to be killed by a shotgun blast passing through the ninth story window
-------
The son, Ronald Opus, had actually murdered himself. So the medical
examiner closed the case as a suicide..

Happy Me..
Last night my wife sits in front of the Pachinko machine and says to me "How do you play this" with an intriguing look in her eyes..
Ahh,that makes me so happy that she showed an interest in it..As she hasn't even really looked at it yet.
I get out the balls from the back and rattle on an explanation of gameplay & what she is to do..(from what I know)
My wife was very interested in the learning of how to play this and she sat there for over an hour playing the machine..
What understanding I need to know is what do you actually go up to the machine with...100 balls or less..?
I gave her about 100 balls and she did so well that she almost emptied the top of the machine(reserve),then she lost them..A win-lose situation.
Reminded me totally of putting credits/tokens in a slot machine and then getting a bunch back or just losing them all.
My wife was hitting the bonus spits making more balls come out explaining to me what she did...more knowledge.
What I need to do is go find some info on the general gameplay of a Pachinko machine so that I can get a better understanding yet be able to fully explain it to her ...from what we don't know so far.
How many balls you start with is the main question and..then what do you do with them if you win more ?

I have been playing Super Metroid on the Super Nintendo.
I am quite impressed with the game.
I have also been playing Final Fantasy III (Mystic Quest) for the SNES whenever I get stumped or frustrated by Metroid.

I haven't posted on this forum in a LONG time...
My older brother and I have been playing Soul Calibur and Capcom vs. SNK Millenium Fight 2000 Pro (both for the DC, both imports) a lot.
I have also been playing Sonic R (Saturn, import) a whole bunch. I am trying to unlock all the hidden characters on hard.
Lastly, I just started Evangelion: Koutetsu no Girlfriend (Saturn, import). So far it is pretty fun, especially since I am a pretty big Eva fan.
