Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars
Last Night playing ..I was soo deep into the game having taken over the enemy Nod base and building, learning their stuff..I held off from completing the mission to mess around.
Note; I keep all my systems on an ON and OFF switchboard and never leave it on overnight.
When I play I switch it on BUT the 360 has a clock that needs to be set everytime I do this OR my saves will be all messed up or missing.
My Son wants to play the Wii so he flips the wrong switch and BAM my 360 goes off,
I had not saved my progress so upon firing it back up I had to do it all again.
I save far in almost completing the mission then make a mistake,,I then go to load and my save is missing..I do it over again frustrated, save and go look for the save and it's gone.
Stupid me..I forgot to set the clock again as it resets to default upon shutting the power off to the power brick.
I do the whole thing over, now like 2:30 am to just get back to where I had progressed to.
I'm stuck here now.

"GDI has a forward operating base in Croatia, but it's been cut off from supply
lines and is under heavy attack by Nod forces. Their power is low, their
construction yard has been destroyed, and they don't have much in the way of
firepower. You need to take command of that base and hold out long enough for
us to send in a reinforcement convoy."

Since I got spare copies to sell, I tested out Super Mario All-Stars on SNES and Tecmo Super Bowl on NES. I played up to World 2 in each game on Super Mario All-Stars. It's probably be years since the last time I've played any of these games since I killed them so thoroughly in the past. I was just randomly messing around with Tecmo Super Bowl. Even though it may be unheard of to some people, I actually don't really know the rules of football. o_O I had fun with what little I could figure out, though. And, man, that intro song freakin' ROCKS HARD.
As for Brave Fencer Musashi on PlayStation, I'm still close to the beginning of Chapter 4. I accepted the role of mayor, and I fixed the well. Now I'm working on getting the gondola fixed.

Last Night our Wii Gaming Challenge was Fierce.
Having got the Wii Play Game with the second remote,it's opened a whole new door in the way we play the Wii now.
My Son has gotten real Good At Wii Bowling as My wife holds the highest score..She has the highest score in everything bowling in the game.
We bowl in the game the exact same way we bowl in real life..She throws a back-up ball-right handed but it curves to the right whereas I thrown right handed with a left normal curve.
In real life I have bowl better then my wife though It hasn't always been that way..In Gaming my wife is always tops though.
Before we took turns but now we play against each other-together...My wife won the first Bowling game but I went on to beat her every other game throughout the night. We were really going at it..
She still beat me in all the challenge bowling games though.

Pole Position on my (currently) cobbled together MAME conversion. I reworked the pedal as a digital input (no worries, all the analog pot setup is there and restored in case I want to use it with an A-Pac or need it for an otherwise working Pole Position in the future) and wired it up for a quick test. So the control panel (steering and shift) was on my workbench with the pedal on the floor and my archaic laptop to the side serving as my test machine. Worked pretty damn good - and it's all wired to the control board of an old PS/2 mouse. The more I work on this project the more viable it seems.

Doom collection with the Doomsday highres pack wich works like a dream on Vista if anyone is wondering as long as one has the patience to set it up wich really isnt very difficult at all.
Duke Nukem Atomic addition Highres pack but I just use the Atomic pack to play the original Duke 3D on Vista and again it works GREAT.
btw the high res Atomic pack improvements and upgrades that can be applied to Duke 3D works on Vista pretty well but my new PC has a weak videocard that causes it to crash sometimes when in Highres with improved character sprites etc but im sure anyone with a decent videocard could get it to work fine on Vista.

Nearing the end of the Sword of Mana, but unfortunatly I lost interest a while ago. I'm fairly new to the GBA scene, but as soon as I picked a DS up, I made it a point to find this game and Children of Mana. Both have been monumental letdowns. I haven't tried Dawn of Mana yet, but I don't think that any mana game will be able to hold a candle to Secret of Mana.

The past couple of days have given me a chance to explore some little-played systems from my collection.
On my recently reacquired Sega CD, I played Sewer Shark and Ecco the Dolphin. It was the first time I'd ever played that particular Ecco game before, as I hadn't played the cartridge version on the Genesis either.
Just tonight on my CD-i, I spun some Mad Dog McCree (more fun than I expected) and flipped through a bunch of the videos on the Compton's Interactive Encyclopedia.
I also continued a couple of my saved games in the NES version of Pirates.
Not a very sexy gaming session for some of the more highbrow folks here who enjoy current generation stuff but it was a series of good times on all three consoles.

I've been on a small Breakout clone spree lately and pulled out Atari Anniversary Redux for the PSX for some Super Breakout. I did pretty well for my skill in all playmodes. I also played Warlords and, for the first time, I beat all three opponents on the first stage. I got trounced in the next round though.
Then, I played a little Asteroids Deluxe and got hooked completely. I'm currently addicted to this and the original game. My highest score for AD is around 12000 which is good for me. I'm waiting for my wife to finish her anime so I can play some more tonight.
I would be playing Picross DS but Best Buy doesn't have any copies locally, at this time. I can only buy there as I'm using my BB credit card to get it.

So far I've tried out Skies of Arcadia Legends on GameCube, which I feel is a nice addition to my collection. I forgot to mention in my last post that I also played some Baseball Stars on NES. The computer was slaughtering me since I was having trouble pulling off anything. Seems more like a baseball game for people who really know and love baseball and play a ton of baseball video games. I prefer a more user-friendly Baseball Stars, like the one on Neo Geo Pocket Color.
Anyway, I've had some more time to get back into Brave Fencer Musashi on PlayStation. I spent some time going through just about every old area since I was stuck at the Island of Dragons. Eventually, though, I showed up at the right time of day and realized I was always showing up when the tide was high. After that I rescued the princess and started to go after the thieves. I spent a long time exploring the whole Frozen Palace, but now I'm stuck again because I can't figure out how to get through the main door. I have all three "eye" stones, which look like they should be placed in the door, but it's just not happening.

Probably my best game ever against the computer..
I chose not to use any power ups until later in the game..
Late in the innings I hit back to back homers scoring a quick 12 to 1 from 1 to 1..
The other team hit me twice in a row using two pitchers, the second pitcher their last that was beat up by being punched by my hitter.
That made it easy to hit the homers..The other team tried hard to win,it's like the computer goes on turbo..
End score 12 to 4

I just found Guitar Hero II on Wednesday used at the pawn shop ($30 including the guitar). I've been playing it almost religiously for 4 days now. I didn't bite when the first one came out, and I'm usually not a fan of rhythm games, but this game is a blast to play (so much that I ran out to Walmart and got GH1 and Encore). Medium can kick my ass as well, and easy is...well almost too easy. More practice is needed if I ever hope to complete a song on hard (damn orange notes get me every time).

Since I haven't picked up anything new in several days now, I've been able to put a lot of time into Brave Fencer Musashi on PlayStation. I'm not sure if I was in my last post, but now I'm in Chapter 5. I was stuck on a really stupid thing before (I didn't realize there was ice over the door), so I got past that and did a bunch of other stuff since. Going back to Steamwood again sure was a pain. It was an annoying part of the game to begin with, and then having to do it again but even harder was a chore. Kinda reeks of laziness that they would essentially reuse the same scenario twice. Anyway, now I'm down in a new section of the mine since a giant ant busted a hole down to it. I must be getting somewhat close to the end of the game since I believe there are only six chapters (and I think I heard that the last chapter is basically nothing but the final area).
Still going for a perfect game in my replay of FFXII. I'm currently 110+ hrs into it.

PS2 Manhunt - played most of the first scene; even though the game deservedly has a 'Mature' rating, I don't see how adding 'realistic' controls (compared to pressing a button) warrants an 'Adults Only' rating.

Well, I got up to the final boss in Brave Fencer Musashi on PlayStation, but I'm all out of healing items. I can beat the ugly green beast, but when he turns into the final humanoid thing, so far I've just died before figuring out how to damage him. I usually don't have more than 200 or so HP when I get to him. Luckily, if you die, you just restart on the previous form, but after trying a few times, I just turned off the system because I was getting a headache and my playing was only getting worse. Now I'm a little reluctant to try again because I have to redo so stinkin' much to get back there. It seems really stupid that they didn't put a save point before the first form. What's the point of allowing you to restart there if you die, but only if you keep the system powered on?

In the two and a half days it's been completely operational I've probably dropped about $30 in quarters in it. LOL

Oddworld: Munchs Oddysee for the Xbox, eight and a half hours straight. I'm stuck and it was driving me absolutely INSANE! So then I decided to play some Sonic 3D blast for the Sega Genesis.

Pocket Tennis Color - NGPC
just a quick game, it really does get boring.
WarioWare: Twisted! - GBA
Woo, never really got into this before but i must of played it for hours yesterday. I think i had issues with the motion detection before but lying down on my back seemed to solve them. Just as good as all the other WarioWares now, still a few more things to do :)
Frequency - PS2
Thought i'd give this a go as i have a big pile of ps2 games i've never played. Heard it was meant to be awesome but i've not really got into it. Didn't really get what i was doing and just cruised through until the last song on normal, which hurt, and took forever, and made my eyes water. I'll give this game a 2 star rating.
