Just finished Doom 3 Resurrection Of Evil (Xbox) this morning.
Awesome game.....super short, but it's only an expansion pack. You could probably do it in one long sitting. The end boss is MUCH simpler than the first installment was, which was a pleasant surprise. One note.......THIS time when you return to hell there are NO health pickups. N-o-n-e.
Save your rockets and your plasma rifle for the end boss. You'll be tempted to use them often but try to use them as little as possible until the last fight. They WILL be your best friends.
I'm playing MediEvil on the PSP tonight.

This game is quite damn entertaining. I love the mass amounts of enemies they throw at you, and the enviornments are really cool. I must say through, it's pretty damn hard. Seems a lot harder than the first one. The enemies just swarm you on every single side destroying your health bar...
Seems like it would be just as awesome as the first one to LAN. Hope I get the oppurtunity some day to LAN up with a few friends.

The Lone Ranger (NES) - This game is great and mixes up elements of platforming, 360 degree shooters, and an Operation Wolf style part that you can use the zapper on.
Super Mario Bros. (NES)Still trying to finish my personal quest to beat this game, however, still stuck on castle 6 as I don't have the patience to NOT use the warps and usually get their with 3 lives.

Skirmish Objective
Team America..1-5 done...5 was rough but GREAT!!
Mission 4-5 Team German...4 is impossible as I tried to do it 6 times..I get to the 4 the wave of Americans trying to take the hill and get killed.
Sometimes my men are stupid and if I lose them it's harder...i will do it though..You get a great feel of acomplishment when you finish a mission in this game..
I love the smart enemy AI in this game..They will react to where I go..If I try to flank them they will run/move to a better position instead of standing like zombies and getting killed...makes for a good strategic fight.
Mission 5 Team German is easier ..I got all the way to the end and got killed..I was not hit once and made a bad mistake/ran right into the line of enemy fire..

I haven't posted here in the last couple weeks, but then again I haven't been playing half as much as I was back then. Since then, I beat Gradius 3 on easy and played through most of normal difficulty until I had my fill of the game. I kind of gave up on beating more in F-Zero too since I got sick of it. :P
Then I started a game of Super Mario World and beat it (for the very first time ever, believe it or not o_o ). I did every stage, but my file still reads 94. I must've missed a normal exit somewhere or something. I'll try to figure it out.
And today, I beat Wario Land and completed it 100%. Now I'm just collecting a little bit more gold so I can max out the money counter. I didn't originally care, but after beating the game and seeing my money and treasures add up to just BARELY less than the max, I want to do it. :)

Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood..
Skirmish Objective
Mission 4 Team German..
Finally,I passed it..
I got killed a few times..... once in a fierce face to face battle with rushing enemy soldiers...I didn't run up the hill fast enough before the next wave and the American enemy soldiers overran me..I didn't go out without a fight and it was seriously awesome"what a game"..Best enemy AI ever..
.This Skirmish hold the hill must be the longest of all...I went through waves and waves of soldiers before the game had it's first save point...(no saving in this game,it's the game that saves after a certain point and usually that's deep in)
I was worn out after that save but it was a "sigh" of relief as I kept getting killed right before this save....I figured I didn't have much left to do but they threw even more enemy soldiers at me..More aggressive enemies that forced me-us all the way to the top of the hill.
I was hiding in a second floor of a barn trying to snipe the running toward us enemies(this rocks)..The best spot as anywhere else the surrounding enemy soldiers would overtake me..they are now coming from all sides not just up the hill..
.Me trying to not get shot in this barn and trying to save my men is hard as they don't last long during the onslaught..
It's one of those heart pounding moments in a game..It's very intense...Best thing about the game is Not being able to save ..This way you play harder..You play not to get shot, you are careful of your movements.........no run and gun....
I dump any of my machine guns as soon as I can..I pick up the long range rifles from dead enemy soldiers and use them..
I do much better when I lie in wait and pick off enemies one by one..When they pop their heads out BAM!!
I was playing much smarter today......Using my FIRE team to pin the enemy then the ATTACK team to flank..The AI gets smart though and that always doesn't work..The enemy in this game does not go out easily..They will run, hide for a better position...I love the challenge,it's almost like playing against human opponents.(that must rock)

The one funny thing about the game is that most of the dungeon monsters are super weak, and aren't nearly strong enough to level you to the bosses. Because when you get to them they kick your butt. Or at least mine.

Zelda: Four Swords Adventures.
It's really awesome so far. It reminds me of a Link to the past. It uses alot of the same graphics and music, but incorporates newer ideas, like stuff from the Minish Cap, Windwaker, and at the same time it's reminiscent of the original Legend of Zelda, and Zelda II.

Doh, I'm an idiot. I didn't know there was an ending in Wario Land better than the castle, so it turns out I didn't beat it 100% a couple days ago. But then I collected around 10,000 coins, beat the game, and got the planet and the "Perfect Game!" message. :)
Now that I'm done with that, I decided to go with Tail Gator as my next Game Boy game to beat. I completed the first area, but I'm saving the rest for school.
I played a very tiny bit of Super Mario World and got the secret exit in the Valley ghost house, so now I'm at 95. I have NO IDEA where the last exit is. I've gone over a checklist of every goal, and as best as I can tell, I've done every single one. :/
My small PlayStation lot from eBay arrived yesterday, and I played Einhander for quite awhile. Great game, I love the fruity angles you fight bosses at.
I gave Battle Stations a try, and that's seriously gotta be the worst PlayStation FMV I've ever seen. o_O The game seems pretty crappy too. Then I popped in Akuji the Heartless, which was better, but still not particularly enjoyable. The way they go straight to the demos suggests to me that the game existed more as an advertisement of their bigger, upcoming games (Tomb Raider 3, Gex 3, and Soul Reaver) than as a stand-alone title that sells on its own merits. I gave the two demos a try (Gex 3 is just a video), even though I already own both games. I was surprised at just how short and pathetic the Soul Reaver demo is. o_O I got killed in the Tomb Raider 3 demo, so I don't know how long that one is. I've never played any of the Tomb Raider games long enough to get used to the crappy controls.

Yay, I found the last exit in Super Mario World. :) I decided to give the Forest ghost house another go, and that's where I was missing one. It's no SMB3, but I'm still very glad I finally played through SMW.
Today at school I played some Tail Gator and got up to area 3 with two parts beaten. The difficulty sure ramps up for area 3. It's not the greatest game ever, but it's enjoyable enough.
Oh, and I almost forgot, I played some Wario Blast on Super Game Boy last night. Pretty good Super Game Boy optimization for that game. I think Wario Blast was the second game I ever had for Game Boy, so I played the heck out of it back in the day on my old brick. However, I was never able to beat that damn final boss, so I'm making that my goal now. I could just use a password to get to the end, but it's been years so I need some warming up. I blew through the first 5 or so areas, so in one or two more gaming sessions with it, I should be up to the boss.

All I've played today is Ms. Pac-Man. The joypad isn't the best controller for this game but they help even out the slight control issues by having your character move a bit faster when it's monster-chomping time.
Later on I'll probably play the two Batman games I have for the SNES...

Brothers In Arms Earned in Blood
Last night I "tried"..SKIRMISH Defense.......Team America..
Ohh man is it hard
.......The enemies are so aggressive..They will precisely throw grenades at you....Not much more hiding and picking them off for me,they will keep you on the move.
If you set-up your men in a bunker they will come in and attack..It's rough but GREAT!!..I can only make it to the third wave of onslaught enemy solders, they enemies get harder and more aggressive...I keep trying the one level over and over..I like it because I'm in bunkers up on top of the hill and the Germans are coming up the hill/rushing,yelling,firing at us..
By the time they get on top of the hill to the bunkers I need to run out and stop them from rushing in or stand near the doorway to stop them..
It's almost creepy as sometimes they sneak up..You'll take a peak out to see where they are and BAM!! they get you.(I don't use the situation awareness view)..by the second wave I have to pull all my men out of the bunkers and run them and hide them on the bottom of the hill behind the bunkers.
The Germans will then take over the Bunkers and I then need to flush them out....It's much harder then it sounds but so fun to do..
Later last night I started.
SKIRMISH Tour Of Duty Team America
You have to do 5 missions without getting killed....One life, one squad..No Checkpoints and no saves.
This is rough as I was killed quick until I found a way around ..
I didn't make it past the first hill...This SKIRMISH I need a lot of time to do as one mission could take over and hour to do and it's set to be hard..

Le Mans 24 Hours - Dreamcast
Played the Prototype Enduro Championship. First race was ok, won easily. Second race was a constant battle against my tires. I was trying to 1 stop the race which meant I spent most of my laps constantly battling against some failing tires and making horrid corners. In the end my fuel wouldn't last me and I had to make a pit stop just before the final lap. Emerged from the pit stop in 2nd place but managed to get myself back into first by the end. So two victorious races and then on to the mighty Suzuka Grand Prix, qualifying for this I could tell it was a completely different circuit than the other two. So many more corners and quick ones at that, this is a brilliantly designed track. I qualified in 7th and spent most of the time battling it out around there. I knew my fuel wouldn't last so a simple 2 stop strategy was ok. However, completely misjudged where the pit stop entrance was on my first stop so came to a complete standstill and lost so much time I emerged 10th place out of 11th. Fought my way back up to 7th in no time and then began making my way upfield. This track has so many corners after each other there really isn't much room to overtake. A bit of rain started coming down just before my 2nd pit stop so changed to intermediates, then it started pouring down, I really could have done with full on wets for the rest of the race but had to make to. The last section of the race after this stop was an incredible battle between me and this cpu driver for 3rd place. On the last lap alone we must have exchanged places 3 or 4 times. I was behind going into the penultimate corner and knew it was all or nothing on the final corner, which happens have a chicane. Broke late and got past on the first bit but he got away and I ended up without the podium position. Oh well, can't complain as that race was the best race I've played on a game for such a long time. Was completely brilliant. I can't wait to start the next championship but this one is 5 tracks long so I'm going to need to set aside a good amount of time I simply don't have.

Played quite a bit of stuff yesterday: I beat the third and forth colossi in Shadow of the Colossus, I made it up to the Necromancer boss in Tork, and I made a bit of progress in both Castlevania DS and Breath of Fire 4. Good times. :)
Finally sat down with Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories on the PSP. It's quite an accomplishment to do what they did with this game. Impressive.
Playing lots more Diablo on the PSX. It's nice to be playing an "oldschool" crawler.

Took my Buddy Ron out back and taught him how to ride a Pocket Bike..He's hooked now on it and I now have a new partner to ride at the track with..
Afterwards: we played Baseball Stars 2...A nail biting game in which I won with a score of 14 to 12..Woot!!
