Was having a nice relaxing game of Last Blade this morning as I had early missions. Then the batteries ran out and mans were late, so I got bored. You'd be amazed how many time in one day I can be in/be near shops and still not buy some bloody AA batteries and a damn working lighter.
Had a driving games session with a mate other night and set the steering wheel up. Playing Sega Rally 2, Daytona USA and Tokyo Highway Challenge. I've also been on Exelica and Guilty Gear on the Dreamcast and Garou: MotW on the NeoGeo.
I've finally got the PGM sorted out and running but the consolization isn't yet complete. Had a quick blast on Demon Front though for 'testing purposes'.

I was at a closing CompUSA with Sarkenobi checking out what they had left. Didn't get anything there. However, I was fooling around on one of the demo laptops and saw that it had 3D Pinball: Space Cadet on it, which is pre-installed on most computers (but not mine, unfortunately). Naturally, I had to play a round. This is the pinball sim that inspired me to eventually collect every console pinball sim I could find.
Also, on Sarkenobi's Wii, I played some Wii Play against her and another friend. Mostly billiards and the shooting gallery.

More Lufia & the Fortress of Doom on Super Nintendo for me. I'm working on the whole Blue/Green/Red Tower part, and I went through the blue and green ones but I still haven't located a blue gem. I found a green one in the blue tower, though. I guess they expect you to go through all the towers, find the gems, and then return to all the towers again to place them. :/ Kinda annoying, but at least I have the Escape and Warp spells at my disposal now. I'm just about ready to enter the Medan Cave to find a ruby for the red tower, and I'm on about level 22 with the hero.

Well, I have not posted on this topic for a long time. It was my birthday yesterday and I had Rick Weis over for a family and friends get together. Of the things we played was the new O2 homebrew Puzzle piece panic, my O2 multicart(which is awsome by the way) and TI invaders on the TI(which sadly was the last game to be played on one of my TI systems due to black screen of death). We had a good time.

Just got done with Vice City Stories (PS2). Most of the missions were fun, and over all this was much better than Liberty City Stories.
Finally picked up Resident Evil 4 (PS2 version) a few days ago. I haven't had too much time to play it, but it's a great game so far.
I also grabbed some cheap games at EB: BMX XXX (Xbox - horrible), Rainbow Six Lockdown (XBox - haven't been too much into the RS in the past but this seems decent), Legends of Wrestling II (Xbox - yet another half-as Xbox wrestling game) and Disaster Report (PS2 - seems very cool, hopefully I'll have time to play it soon).
My game backlog is getting huge right now. PS2/Xbox games are so cheap that I usually end up buying 4 or 5 every time I go to EB, and then I end up playing only the first couple of levels just to make sure they work.

We Love Katamari - PS2
Me and a couple of friends must of played this for 4+ hours straight on friday. It is so fun and sunny and happy. Good good times.
I saw the Resident Evil film recently which made me play the following today:
Resident Evil: Code Veronica - Dreamcast
Just getting started and realised the voices stopped working. So reset and the game wont load, had a look and the disc is scratched heavily, so regrettably I switched to...
Biohazard: Code Veronica - Dreamcast
...the Japanese version which supports VGA and also has difficulty settings unlike the PAL version, the controls are slightly different too. Most things are in English apart from the writing at the bottom of the screen when you look at items. It may just be enough to put me off playing, as i did get stuck and i'm sure i've played this before and the writing was helpful
The Typing Of The Dead - Dreamcast
Great fun as usual! I don't have my official DC keyboard and had some difficulties getting the adaptor to work for my PC keyboard but once it did it was good fun, its seriously hard though!

Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories (PS2)
The thill just isn't there for me with this game-I feel too much like I've gone back and played and old PS2 GTA title,Whereas I've been spoiled by San Andreas..
I'm having serious control-detection-driving issues playing this game..I don't know what my problem is,again I've been spoiled by San Andreas ..I can pop that game in and play it with ease....Liberty City Stories too.
Last night however it got a little more interesting, I got the where I can purchase things(won't spoil)and more things to do became available..I am using a money cheat and buying thing, maybe a bit too fast..I hope that doesn't make the game to hard to deal with...
I want to start playing Armored Core 4 360(offline)
But I haven't played Chromehounds yet(in which I have two copies of=won cheap on ebay)I did try Chromehounds to test the two games but haven't got into it yet..
I prefer games like Steel Battalion- slow moving-find attach..
I feel if I play Armored Core 4 first and "if"Chromehounds is way lesser of a Game then I'll just never go back and play Chromehounds..I'd rather play a not so good game before a better game..(though I've yet to read any Armored Core 4 offline-story mode reviews yet....I have read about Chromehounds offline story mode though.

Earth Defense Force 2017(360)
I just got this game tonight, upon playing the first level I was highly dissapointed. But after a few more missions I am really enjoying this title. It's nothing fancy, just arcade style alien(giant bug?) blasting and nonstop action!
THPS2X(Xbox)
It's a (slightly) enhanced port of one of my alltime favorites, not to mention I can finally listen to my own music in this version. So far the best THPS2 I have played(even edging out the classic DC version).
Worms(360)
I have mixed feelings on this, on one side I just bought 800 M$ points so I could play a version of Worms that was much inferior(sp) to Armageddon. Yet at the same time, the Worms formula is so good, that I had to get this version of the classic series. And it's a very solid game, I just hope they add some FREE downloads to expand the gameplay and bring back a few weapons.

It's going to be hard to catch up on all the gaming I've done lately since I landed a nice deal on a decent sized lot of PS2 and PS1 stuff (mostly RPGs), and I've been trying them all out. Let's see, so far I tested, if not played for a fair chunk of time: Dragon Quest VIII, the Final Fantasy XII demo, Star Ocean 3, Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne, Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga, Xenosaga, Xenosaga II, Shadow Hearts, Shadow Hearts: Covenant, Thousand Arms, and Final Fantasy IX.
But for some more serious playing, I'm up to the cooking village in Lufia & the Fortress of Doom on SNES (Lyden, I think it's called?), and before I see about getting the bridge repaired, I'll probably head back to explore another level of the Old Cave since I just hit level 25. I actually haven't touched Lufia in days since I've been busy and been playing stuff that demands less of a commitment.
I've actually been practicing Wetrix on N64 just for the heck of it, since my friend kept giving it a go every time he came over. I wanted to see if I could finally get the hang of the game and not suck horribly, so I went through all the practive levels and then tackled classic mode using what I've learned by watching my friend play. Before I knew it, I had tied his score, and with a little bit more play, I demolished it. :P My high score now is around 6.5 million. Because of this brazen act, last night turned into a Wetrix marathon night, with everybody and anybody wanting to take a crack at it, and my friend trying to inch his way closer to my score. :P A good time was had by all. :)

I got some more time at school to play my Game Boy Advance SP, so I managed to beat Level 2 in Guttang Gottong on the Konami GB Collection Vol. 3. I guess I can call that game wrapped up now, but there's something about it that's been bugging me. It's as if the game doesn't exist outside of the collection, but that doesn't make sense because all of these Konami collections consist of older Game Boy titles that got color added. In the case of TwinBee Da!, it had already been released in Europe on a b/w cart as Pop'n TwinBee (and actually, that's what it's called in this European collection too), and Bikers was released in the US as Motocross Maniacs (and possibly Europe too?). The Goemon game on the collection I know had never left Japan previously (this European collection is the only way to play it in English), and I suspect that the Game Boy version of Guttang Gottong never got released outside of Japan previously either because there's no record of a release and it still goes by the Japanese title (as opposed to the Western title Loco-motion used for the arcade and older console versions). However, this is where it gets funny - I can't find ANY record of there being a Japanese b/w Game Boy version. Everywhere I've checked, both English and Japanese, has nothing. I don't know why but I've been obsessed with proving that this game existed prior to the collection. o_O
Anyway, to get back to my gaming, Bikers is the only game on the collection I haven't beaten, but I'm out of practice and am still not able to get past 4C. I did, however, discover something in versus mode that I don't think I realized before. It looks like the mode itself is completely pointless because when I beat a race without beating the computer, there was no penalty, and it continued as normal. Apparently, this mode is exactly the same as the solo mode except with a computer ghost; however, the computer doesn't have a pre-programmed time or path for the race. It's the most archaic kind of rubberband racing you can think of, so as soon as I'd make a mistake, the computer would generally follow suit. Likewise, if I do well, he'll be doing well. In the end, the ONLY thing it takes to beat the computer is to be good enough to complete the race on solo mode and use a couple nitros right before the goal to get past him. Pretty lame. I guess you could construe that it's slightly more difficult that just playing on solo, but I think it's not really any different from playing on solo so I'll probably ignore it.
Believe it or not, but I also played some other stuff for Game Boy that I haven't already been playing off and on for years. :P I got some new games, mostly for my boyfriend, so I was testing them to make sure they work. I also got another Game Boy Color and Game Boy Pocket, so I was playing the games on those. The b/w games I played were: Pokemon Blue (toying around with the file already on there since the guy got all 150 Pokemon), Super Mario Land (which I actually played all the way through), Wario Land II, Mega Man, and Mega Man II. The Game Boy Color games I played were Frogger 2, Mega Man Xtreme, and Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX. All in all, a nice assortment.

Everything Parodius in anticipation of receiving Parodius Portable for PSP (gonna snag the other two Portables later) from a US seller, always ran into dead ends on ebay with Hong Kong and Japan sellers of this title (no Paypal for me unfortunately).
Mainly the original arcade Parodius with a sprinkling of MSX Parodius for good measure.

GTA: Liberty City Stores. Causing all sorts of mayhem. Hockey stick is the best club-like weapon in the game. I beat fools regularly.
Mega Man X Collection. Gonna see if I can beat MMX without dying again.
Sonic Rush. My word, I hate Altitude Limit Zone.

After much practice and frustration, I finally beat 4C in Bikers on the Konami GB Collection Vol. 3. I beat 5C shortly thereafter, and it felt much easier in comparison (since it starts with a 45 second timer rather than 14 seconds). I've done 6C a few times, but I've yet to beat that one. It gives me 30 seconds, but I don't think it'll be as difficult as 4C.

Nothing, my 360 is getting the red ring of death! :( :( :( I am so pissed off, and I know any kind of warranty has expired long ago. Because I got the system about a month after launch. Tomorrow I'm gonna call Microsoft and see what kind of damage the system repair will do to my wallet. This is a sad day indeed.... :(
For now I am going to get into some nostalgic gaming with my N64. I plan to play some Super Mario 64 and Goldeneye here pretty soon. :)

I've been playing my PS2 as of late. Beat bouncer with all characters and have put in time in Gran Turismo 3, NFL 2k2, and Guitar Hero 1.
