Today i played Guardian Legend,that game is totally addicting,non-stop playing for 2 hours.
I think i'm getting close to the end,the whole area is almost seen on the map!

Just beat Starfox Assault! :D It was a good game overall, but far too short. I also didn't really like the ground levels. I enjoyed it, but I don't think it's really worth the $50 I paid- It's just too short. I really, really wish it were longer.

Ok, now I should be able to beat Suikoden 4 tommorow....

King Of Fighters 2003....been playing it on the extreme difficulty and I'm doing pretty well. Team consists of Duo Lon (yeah, cheap...), Ryo and Billy and somtimes switching Athena out for Duo Lon which is almost as cheap. Played through it twice on extreme going through both paths to unlock rugal's son and the real boss mukai. Lots of fun. I'm loving it more the longer I play.

Thief II: The Metal Age

Replayed Thief III recently and just beat it again and am craving more Thief action so I'm gonna go to the circle website since they've had a PLETHORA of new fan missions sent in since the last time I had it installed. Should be good times.

I just spent an hour working through the Phazon Mines, beat that boss thing and die. Now I have to start all over again in a level where the enemies respawn if you leave the room. DAMMIT! I'm pissed. It's not like I can fight my way to the boss, back track, save and then run back to the boss fully healed. Noooo. There's no health at all the whole time! No refilling. I hate to say it, too much more of this shit and that's the kind of stuff that makes me throw a game on a shelf unfinished never to go back. I can't let it end like this.

It's not like I have no health. I have 1000 HP. 10 whole units! And those damn pirates just take the cake.

Actually, there is a save point, right before it. There's probably one not too far after Elite, as well, though I do recall being pissed at dying then later finding out I died in a room connected to a save point...

Finally had some time to play Virtua Quest. It's suprisingly very much like PSO, you even have a little mag type bot that follows you around. The story is pretty interesting too, the best part is fighting Virtua fighters and taking their special abilities.

It's a fun puzzle game, that would fall somewhere between tetris and rampart. Pieces fall from the sky and you have to arrange them all the way across in a line in order to make them disappear, the trick is gems and sarcophagus's fall too. In order to get rid of them you have to surround them with a wall of bricks.

overall a great way to waste time and addictive to boot

I'm still playing the FF I game on the Dawn Of Souls game. I've played about 10 hours and I love it. Besides that I spent about 1.5 hours with Sword Of Mana. Got it this weekend and it's also a good game. Not as impressive as FF I but very nice.

Got my airship pass last night in FFXI, so it's off to Khazam.

Also playing The Italian Job (PSX) and the totally unbalanced, take-it-or-leave-it Champions Return To Arms (PS2). If you haven't played it yet....it's boring as hell and the pace just plods along. The game is also VERY buggy. Don't bother with it.

Tomorrow....it's Gran Turismo 4 all day:D :D :D

I think I'm getting close to the end.. I may even finish the game tonight if I get no interruptions..(The game is quite long ..
I haven't ran into anything that I've viewed in the fortune teller machine though,so I might just be nowhere near the end.. x_x

I had turned it on earlier to play then thought about rearranging the games on my shelves..Turned it off figuring it'll only take a few minutes to move what I wanted to move... 4-5 hours later and I'm done..
It's hard when your limited on space.. :/

I had the urge to play through Rampage World Tour, and 3 and a half hours later, I beat the game. I don't think I'll do that again, at least not for a few years. I wouldn't have been able to do it without infinite continues, either. I also spent some time playing Hard Drivin', Primal Rage, and Timber.

Shadow of Rome. I've been surprised how much fun this game is to play. Mixes pure hardcore violence, and some tough bosses, with some MGS type sneaking. So close to beating it, I hope I can do it before it goes back to the store...

Well,I finished it tonight..I must of been playing this game for over 7 hours straight.
My goal was to complete it tonight and it had me sucked in..

I loved the main characters story line that as I can tell came into view later in the game..

The end Boss was very strong but not hard to beat.when you realize what you need to do/hide.
His(.......)were very hard to beat ..((only way outsmarting them.

The hardest part of this game was the run down timer run to get up to the boss...
I had to do this several times..(aggravation)
The trick with this part is time and jumping..(Plus Main Saves and quick saves..)
You need lots of time to reach the boss within this run...otherwise you need to start from a previous save to gain that time..

The Eye Candy in this game is Sweet!! Gorgeous levels etc..and the Music/explosions are GREAT!!
I mainly play with a good set of headphones on,and this game has some great sound.
I love the messages taken out of some book that are seen:...

Great Game overall..I enjoyed it very much..

Popping this game in today I had high hopes and great expectations..

I played this game for several hours tonight trying to get hooked into the story etc.
But,..
What a bunch of Crap...This game is just simply boring,and terribly bland.

The terrain is bland,the trees are bland the explosions/destruction is bland..
Do the same stuff over and over..
The tanks handle like RC cars..no feel of weight and no attention to detail.
Everything looks like crap..

I kept going trying to get some enjoyment but it never happened..
Man,let me steal or hack something without having to get aggravated with random on screen button presses.
Shoot,If they would of did a GTA type steal the mech I would of been happy...And where are all the mech's/vehicles to steal...(?)
I can say the game does provide constant action,but boring..

Now I figure online and maybe link-up it's better ..I guess they sucked all the Single player out for that.

I popped in TOCA RACE DRIVER 2(a fill in game)

This game usually aggravates me because it requires precision and concentration...Something don't get much of unless it's late night.

Toca game me a smile on my face..I had a lot of fun with this game tonight.

I just popped in and played through my only Super Famicom game: Xardion

The RPG-ish elements are a really cool addition to the whole shooter/platformer thing, but the game is just too slow and static to make you want to come back to it. After losing to what I assume is the final boss, I just gave up with it. But I can always try again if I ever feel the need thanks to the game having inexplicable battery-backup. Really, it's not necessary...the best part of this game is the cool illustrations on the box and the manual.

So at least it looks good sitting on the shelf. :)

Received GTA: San Andreas for my B-Day, so finally popped it in the PS2.

This is the first GTA I've played, and I must say...

WOW. I really do like green eggs and ham! I haven't gotten very far, tried the drive by mission before wrecking the car. What I'm enjoying most is the freedom of exploration.

It's funny, when I first saw pictures of Twisted Metal, this is the type of game I wanted, but in a Mad Max with Mutants setting. Maybe someone will still make it someday...

There is a level that I think is a Bonus Stage.
It flows in reverse real fast..
Instead of you traveling upward as usual the background screen is now going up as if the planes seem to be pulled back...

I've never really sat there and played fully any Sports games with my Son.
It's always the shooters..

He does play the Sports games and seems to have some handle on them.
Otherwise he's always playing either Halo2/Halo or GTA SA with precision.

So I sat with him in front of the Candy Cab today playing Baseball Stars 2
Teaching him how to pitch,hit and catch ..
By the third inning he had the hitting down and hit a two run homer on my butt.
I'm throwing the ball down the middle letting him hit it and run the bases,not trying to get him out but showing him how.
He hit three homers in total for a final score of 15..

What better game to teach my kid Baseball..

I just got the keycard from Millie so I can continue the casino robbery missions. I also finished the last trucking mission needed to make it an asset (btw, you can do trucking missions beyond that if you wish). And what a mission it was... you have to deliver illegal goods to a random area in Las Venturas with a four star wanted level. Needless to say it took me about 6 or 7 tries to get through it.

GHOST RECON 2 /PS2 version..

The game started off pretty good as I was enjoying the type levels that were offered.
But,I've been stuck on the same level too long now..I got sick of doing it over and over so it's SHELVED for now..
No save option in-between means missions have to be restarted all the way back at the beginning if you die etc.

The problem is the members of my team are stupid,they can't hit an enemy standing right in front of them and the game starts to chug with a very slow framerate when too much is going on on screen.
Due to the chugging I get killed or fail to do a mission because I didn't get to the spot I was supposed to in time..
Ohhh how I hate that..
I got caught in a glitch once that made me start over too..

The manual is lacking on squad command explanation plus I can't find anything online to help.
Hopefully a Faqs and some Codes pop up in the future.

I had high hopes for this game..

I'll start the XBOX version now..
