Been playing Fast Food on Atari
Great little twitch game there. I found that one at a flea market for a buck several years ago (the same place I bought my 2600 with four boxed games for $15, incidentally), and it just about always gets some play time whenever I have the old VCS hooked up.

I really do like it, I missed an eBay auction of a complete one that ended at $6.50.
Yeah, I've also been playing Jawbreaker and Mangia on an emulator since tracking either of them down, especially Mangia, would take a lot of time and effort.
Couple of big garage sales going on this weekend, maybe I'll find Fast Food. :D

I've read about Mangia and always wanted to check it out - looks just weird enough that I'd get a kick out of it - but I don't have a 2600 emulator currently and good luck finding the cartridge. Maybe I will end up emulating it eventually, just to try it out...

Meh, I'm the kind of person who would find it in a some thrift store bin for a dollar.
It really is weird. It's all about getting rid of the food that is put on the table.

I'm now up to 125 Pokemon caught out of 127 encountered in Pokemon Pinball on my Game Boy Advance SP. I wouldn't have anywhere near as many new additions if not for two great runs I had on each board. On the Blue board, I smashed my old record with a new high of 7-some billion, and on Red, I equally destroyed its previous high with a new score of 6-some billion. While I still frequently have sub-par games, I think I'm progressively getting better. What I mainly have to thank is a trick I half read about half figured out on my own which REALLY helps with earning bonuses. Whenever the ball drops out of the hole after the slots, an evolution, or a bonus game, I simply hold up the right flipper, and the ball rolls straight up into the light. Then I switch the light as the ball is falling back down. Then I only need two more lights lit up to open up the slots again. Assuming I have decent luck with the slots, I can build up a great defense of unlimited Pikachu kickbacks and Savers. And when I can keep the ball in play a long time, then I can start racking up the extra balls, which resulted in the aforementioned great runs. I think I earned at least four extra balls in each of those. The only problem is that it can be hard to recover once I finally do lose a ball, and then all those extra balls don't last long. But anyway, in those two runs, I reached the final stage of the game and got a lot of rare Pokemon along the way. I got Moltres, Ditto, Lickitung, Doduo and Dotrio, Horsea and Seadra, Seel and Dewgong, and more. I have almost everything from the first set of stages now. That bastard Poliwrath is still eluding me, though, and I still need the third form of Oddish and Gastly (Vileplume and Gengar, respectively).
Finished up Silent Hill: Homecoming on 360 and started to play a bit of Jak 3 on PS2.

I now have 130 out of 133 Pokemon encountered in Pokemon Pinball on my Game Boy Advance SP. I had another good run on the Red board, getting to the final area and scoring 5-some billion points. I lost about three balls nearly back-to-back at the end, though. If I wasn't messing up, I probably could've made it my best scoring game. I don't have many new additions to show for it. Basically just Kabuto and Kabutops. I was hoping I'd encounter Mewtwo in the final area, but it wasn't happening. I caught Moltres and Ditto again two times over a piece. It's funny, I think I like the Red board better now. Blue is still easier, but Red feels more compact so I stay on the bottom half longer, racking up slot bonuses and triggering map moves.
I also had some unfinished business to attend to - I finally got back into Pikmin on GameCube after abandoning it near the end of August. And I already polished it off with the best ending and several days to spare. Now that I have that off my plate, I can move on to new console gaming.

I was lucky enough to have it made available to me at retail prior to street date.
Unfortunately, the online servers aren't up and running yet, so I'm relegated to offline multiplayer for the time being.
I'm already 3/4 done with my first created level, and the sheer amount of creative freedom that the game allows is absolutely DAUNTING, these are practically professional tools.
This could be the one to put PS3 on the map for real ... or not ... who knows, all I know is that it's fucking fantastic and deserves every bit of pre-release praise it's received.

I have 135 Pokemon caught out of 136 encountered in Pokemon Pinball on my Game Boy Advance SP now. I can pretty reliably have games into the billion points now, although I still have to weed out some off games. I finally got the last of the evolutions I needed from the Pokemon on the first set of stages, so now I have to focus purely on moving to the second set and catching those last 15. Well, Mewtwo is in the final stage, but it's not especially hard for me to get there. I'll also have Mew to worry about eventually, but I'm not thinking about him just yet.
