I beat Earthbound about a week ago, and I just beat Super mario world 2: yoshi's island earlier today. Now all i'm working on is Dragon Warrior 1. I can play that game for an hour and achieve jack shit. I can't seem to figure out if the game sucks, or if its just me. Probably me. I think i'm gonna give up and start playing crystallis again.

I am just playing and playing and playing Landstalker for the Genesis! I've got a little story to tell: I was in Tibor, the giant tree. I was fighting the strong knight at the top of the tree that was causing him pain. That buttmunch kept blocking my attacks and caused me great damage. On the strike that killed him, he also killed me! And after I fell, Tibor said, "Wow, thanks! No more pain!" No more pain, you stupid sycamore?! I FUGGIN' DIED!!!

Thankfully, I had plenty of EkeEke to resurrect me. So I got out of there okay. Man, this game rules so much!

Meteos (DS)
Haven't played this for quite a while but didn't feel like playing Ouendan today when I had my DS to hand. Ended up playing for ages and finally unlocking Meteos and then the final few items I needed and started on the sounds. Just a handful of sounds now to unlock and that will be everything free. Man, this game is brilliant - played so many styles and levels and the way they are all different is great - adds much longevity and excitement to a puzzler

Finally got Splinter Cell Chaos Theory for PS2 and damn was it worth the wait :D

I was slightly dissapointed with the PS2 edition of Pandora Tomorrow but CT is soo much better the extra development time (the ubi soft Montreal team made this one) and the completely overhauled and re-built-for-PS2 graphics engine really looks great holds its own against georgus Xbox edition in my opinion one of the best looking games on the aging PS2 but with this game the PS2 doesnt look aged at all :D = finally a true sequel to the excellent original.

Also the "water move" were you pull an enemey into the water with you and "contain him" impressive indeed.

I highly recommend Splinter Cell:Chaos Theory to any and all "PS2 only" gamers out there this one shows that the PS2 is a very capable machine(graphics) even now.

Currently playing:

PS2 - Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (Extreme)

Replaying this excellent game on extreme after fully unlocking normal a while ago. The enemies on this mode have an insane amount of vision! I usually lay in the grass and sniped them in the face with the mk22. With any luck I'll have only the bosses to fight on "The Sorrow".

PS2 - ICO

Such a fun game. I'm enjoying all the platforming and the very odd story...Once I finish this one up I'll be very interested in checking out Shadow of the Colossus.

PC - Quake IV

Really fun FPS! Quite an enjoyable single player experience so far. Hopefully I can finish this one up in the next two days I have off.

Kool I play this game on PS2 at least a few times a week ;)

I just got it last week and that my was first time trying the game out. I read a review somewhere that said the game seemed like a bad freeware title. After playing both tables, I have no clue how anybody could come to that, because it's a pretty solid pinball game. Well worth the $2.50 I spent. The road trip table is my favorite.

Today I played a little more L.A. Rush on PS2.

I've started Burnout Legends and Grand Theft Liberty on PSP. But I've mainly gotten sucked into the deep abyss that is Diablo on the PSX. Even my PSP with those two great games has been put aside in favor of some old school Diablo.

I feel a reawakened PSX addiction coming on.....there's a used copy of Sled Storm at a local shop. I'll score it today. :D

Mario Kart - N64
Played through a couple of cups 2player - I haven't played this game for years, I can't wait till we get another couple of controllers in the flat and then can play battle mode properly.

Meteos - DS
Pretty much doubled my high score on my best-scoring level (Dawndus) and then also unlocked all the sounds, meaning now everything is unlocked!

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan - DS
Did the final 3 levels on hard. Ready, Steady, Go is not as hard as the others because there are so many dots and after easy and medium you know the song so well and kindof expect the dots to be where they are, its just getting 300 on them each time thats difficult. Now insane difficulty has opened up - now with female cheerleaders! Its actually really wierd, because they speak a lot different than the other characters. They say "Go" instead of "Osu" and numbers in English instead of Japanese. Also they make wierd sounds when you fail. And fail I do because although I think the dots are in the same place as hard, they are now much smaller and they appear only shortly before you need to hit them so you need to kindof know where they are going to appear and hit them more accurately - my hand tends to get in the way a lot of times of telling when something is appearing. It definitely is insane!

Fahrenheit - PC
I've heard this is called Indigo Prophecy in America. Anyway, was really excited about this so its nice to play it. The story is quite intriguiging and its good to play as different characters and see things from different angles. The QTE bits are a bit odd but getting used to them. Some interesting gameplay elements also. There's also a good bit of suspense so far. It just crashed so I stopped, I failed that bit anyway - an action flashback. Can't wait to play more.

I've been playing Monopoly for the Original GameBoy Color. It seems to be a port of the NES game, which is a good thing since I enjoyed that version as well. I was crushing the computer opponent pretty badly even though he kept offering me bogus trades (no I am not giving you Boardwalk LOL ). My only complaint with the game is that is drags on a little too much, as in it plays a little slow. The NES version plays much, much faster and makes for a more enjoyable and fluid game.

It's a good game for a car ride, me thinks.

This week I got a bundle of joy in the mail, and I now have experienced true video gaming bliss. I call it, Dreamcast-hooked-to-my-CRT-monitor-via-VGA-box. First up: Sonic Adventure *drools all over his keyboard just thinking of it*. Putzed aroung in GTA Liberty last night, just looking for packages. Did some Burnout Legends. Played some Diablo.

I had some relatives come over today..I love having the cabs on when they come over because I can get some gaming going on..
Basically I played against my Brother in Law..

Tekken 3

Neo Geo MVS-Big Red..
League Bowling
Street Slam

Neo Geo MVS 2 Slot
Tecmo World Soccer 96(We left off in a tie of won games)I have never played this game against another person..

I spend a lot of time explaining the MVS system to him as he asked how it works..In all the times he's been here we've never been able to go over that.
He was like "All those games go in here"..Cool..

Next Time I plan on having Super Side Kicks 2 in a Cab and a slew of other games...(SOON!!)

Afterward we went over to their house and we played a new Madden Football game on his GC..He kicked my butt as I suck at sports games on consoles but I kept coming back and blocking his passes to his surprise...Woot!!

PC - Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines

Loving this game to death so far. It's got some flaws but nothing so far that's brought down it's enjoyment any. I started out playing as Malkavian, but they're a little overpowered and their speech selections are better suited for a second playthrough, so I switched over to Tremere. I've found firearms pretty useless so far so I've been sticking mostly to melee.

PS2 - ICO

Been wanting to play through this one for a little while and decided now's a good time that Shadow is out. I'm not very far at all. Have it saved right at the train tracks towards the beginning. I'll probably jump back into this one a little more once I'm through with Vampire.

One 'niche cult favorite and one that is probably THE MOST MAINSTREAM GAME EVER CREATED (NA anyway)

Deus Ex:the conspiracy- so far a good game I do like the customization options and many other elements in the game that one doesnt usually see in most games BUT overall Im slightly dissapointed after reading for many years how incredible these games are I guess I just expected more from the famed Deus EX series but all in all I am having fun with the game and am currently about 30% of the way through the game (yeah I know its the PS2 version get the Xbox or a highpowered PC ver blah blah blah ;) )

Now for the Mainstream game:

MADDEN NFL 2005 COLLECTORS EDITION (PS2 exclusive) I usually pick up ONE football game every 3-4 years since there are such minute advances throught the years barring of course the jump to a next-gen platform.
Anyway I really like this game great animations much improved gameplay etc and got it for next to nothing basically NEW not a scratch instruction booklet and all.
Also It has 3 older retro versions of madden from Genesis 16-bit too two PSone editions so its satisfies the Retro gamer side of me also and gave me an excuse to pick up a newer Madden, the only one Ive had for years is Madden 2001 the launch title for PS2 :embarrassed:
