Today, I tried out a couple games that I've been on the fence about trading off.

Gamecube:
-Batman: Vengeance
I wanted to like it, but I can't get into it. So it's getting traded off.
-True Crime: Streets Of L.A.
Got through the first episode. It's a keeper. Even though I like cruising through the city more than anything else, the rest of the game is decent enough to me to make it worth the ten bucks I spent on it.

Right now, I'm entering my 5th season as the Green Bay Packers in ESPN NFL 2k5. I'm planning on buying Action Replay for my X-Box, so I can have updated rosters for my game instead of buying Madden 06. Eventually I will get Madden, but I can save 20 bucks by just getting Action Replay for now.

Being playing more Castlavania LOI on PS2. While there are things I hope they add or fix in the next game, I'm really enjoying it. The music and graphics are top notch (although I would like some more variety in the graphics). It comes down to whether you like killing monsters with whip combos or not, as it is more combat oriented than the GBA games...

I've cleared three bosses so far...

Cheers,
Ben

so fucking angry with this game...I don't know what to fucking do. As some of you may know, I am in the middle of a big move. Today, I needed to sit in the new (mostly empty) house waiting for the cable guy to come hook us up. I decided that the best way to pass the time would be to plug in my TV and play some games!

The other day I started playing Evolution on the Dreamcast. Today, I finished my second dungeon (damn, those ruins are BIG and LONG... and somewhat tedious after a while).

After that, I enjoyed some Mischief Makers on the N64.

Continuing on with:

pc - planescape: torment

Ughh...I love this game but the damn graphical problem is quite a pain in the ass. I went to Nvidia's site and got drivers back from 2002 and now the spell effects work fine. I guess I'll leave the pc in this horrible state until I'm done with the game, which I almost am. I think it's gonna be pretty easy to because I discovered a little bit of a hack.

When you come back to this city that's being destroyed, you can find a well hidden item that is an ancient scroll that grants you wish when you read it. You can increase one of your stats by 2 points, give yourself money, a powerful ring, fully heal the party, or teach youself some VERY powerful spells. Well, only the Nameless One can use this item but I only had room for Dakkon to hold it so I used it from his inventory and after you "grant" yourself a wish, the scroll burns up. For some reason though, it appears that if dakkon is holding the scroll and not you, it doesn't disappear. So now I basically have a cheat menu to fully heal...increase stats...unlimited money. Oh well, now everyone's inventory is cleared of stupid jewelery since I have unlimited funds. Kinda cheap to cheat after all this time but eh, what the hell.

Oh and I have been dabbling in eJay Clubworld. If you can get past the steep learning curve, there is actually a fair amount to do with the game, especially for a big techno/trance fan like me! It is inspiring that I want to get some turntabels and play around with.
