Shadow Of The Colossus...



Beat the 11th Colossi..Not easy,but once I knew what to do I had a plan..

12th Colossi....forget about it..Aggravation x_x ...I can literally say I must of been trying to take this Colossi down for two hours... :/ ..I can't get him to line up so I can jump on him..Then when I do get on his head,he gets to far out for me to jump onto of the tower that is a must to do to get to his belly.
I did it twice in all that time and he had less then 50% damage as he will only take one poke before dumping me off.
I got to tired trying to line him up and missing the jump to his head.....I'm done,left off there.I'm not having fun anymore as much as I like the game. :( .I may start something else to get a break from the game.

Shadow Of The Colossus...

Started off with the goal to try and beat the 12th Colossi..What I was doing wrong was I was not hitting the stones on his head to direct him around nor get him closer to me..Amazing as all the time I spent last night I didn't do this yet was able to set him up for the kill.
Still though even with the head-stone knowledge it was quite hard to kill him..

13 tm Colossi..My favorite so far(besides the first one)...This is like a flying Dragon it's huge..
I hate using the horse to do any fighting but it wasn't bad as had more room to maneuver him..
The most aggravating thing is when the horse runs into something stopping you dead while your aiming at something..
It wasn't very hard to take this Colossi,quite and enjoyable experience..

Breakdown for Xbox

Only an hour into it thus far, but I'm having a blast playing it. The controls are a little wonky and take some getting used to, the levels get a bit repetitive, and the game is difficult, but holy hell is it a load of fun.

Very unconventional game and I'm damn glad I picked it up from TRU during their Green Tag sale.

Big Night:

The kids were playing games all day,more then ever and I had my hands full setting up stuff for them..
My Son beat me in a split screen race in FORZA using identical cars...Straight up race and he beat me..I'm so ashamed of myself as he's only 4...It's not like I don't play the game all the time,I do..

Ron comes over..Surprise:
We set-up for a 4 player Linked OUTRUN..but it won't link for 4 players via 2 Xboxes..
So we play several that I win ..We used codes to open the tracks and cars etc..

4 player Linked HALO 2 playing different maps then the usual..We had a blast as I was laughing so hard at the multiple kills and the fun we were having...
My Son and Nephew took up a partnership in the game to hunt down me and Ron though me and Ron were still out to get each other..
Line up for a shot and get hit from behind..

4 player Linked BRUTE FORCE Co-op/Campaign....(we played just two levels).....I don't know of any games that you can 4 player Link Co-op with just two xboxes..

We had a lot more planned but time flies by fast.. :/

The usual back and forth as we were 0-2 up to the fifth inning..Then bam the two run homers started for the both of us.
We are 9-9 at the bottom of the 9th,we go into the 10th...My score is 12 in the top of the 10th...He's up,then has players on base as my pitcher is dead,he goes to steal home...Yea steal home,with one out,I pitch--the catcher has the ball..I go to run and tag him out but my catcher runs right by his player coming into home..
Apparently my catcher took a different base line and ran right past him(I've never seen this before in this game)
He's now at 10 runs..Ties it to 12-12...Hits a fly to left that looks to be the winning homer with a player on third.
It hits the far left wall and brings in the winning run to win the game...
Game Set...He won..
The kids play Ghost Pilots then Baseball Stars 2 for a bit..

I continue my quest in Shadow of the Colossus...
On the way to the 14th Colossi the game freezes with the horse stuck in motion but I can still view the map and rotate the camera.

This locked up my older PS2 "DISC READ ERROR"..but I eventually got it working again..
I took down the 14th Colossi..This one was the easiest of all..it was almost sad to kill him...I really took my time killing this one.
The level was great with it's vertical pillars..It had a very like Tomb Raider feel and look to it..

Fire Emblem for the Gameboy Advance has now been finished! Whoa, what a game. Of the hundreds and hundreds of games that I've played, I have to put this one in my top 25 favorite of all time, maybe even top 20. No game has sucked more of my time away in recent memory then this game.

I'm now attempting to beat the game on Hector mode and then after that I may man up and give "hard mode" a good playthrough and see if I am up to the challenge.

The kids have stayed busy playing Animal Crossing on the Gamecube and bugging me for the DS version.

I still need to get back to Dragon Quest VIII since I stopped playing that to get through Fire Emblem, and I still need to find time to play through Shadow of the Collusus. Too many games, not enough time.

bought this on Friday, amazing game, I get addicted to it and can't put it down for hours every time I pick it up, I think I'm about 23 days in now

Played two 10 minute 3-player games (we still need a 4th controller, gotta remember to pick one up) and then let someone else have a go while they played Mario Kart. 1st game was hopeless as I didn't change my controls so kept staring at the ceiling and stuff so came last. Next game I was playing properly and got twice as many kills as everyone else :)

Shadow of the Colossus...

Took down the 15th Colossi....The hardest thing was getting in his hand..
...........Shocked by the sad cut-seen on the way to the 16th last Colossi

#16..Whew he's huge..This is like a big puzzle,plus getting constantly barraged by blasting fireballs.
First time I was killed quick..Then I realized just what I needed to do...
I get almost all the way to the top of this Colossi(easily),and can't figure what to do next..After learn what to do I can't get back up there again..Frustratingly I keep falling off him,wanting so bad to throw my controller..My wrists hurt from trying to hard..
I don't know what's my problem now..Either I'm tired,rushing or just have to much shit on my mind..

Lost In Blue - DS - I can't stop playing this

and while I was shopping today i played a couple of demo booths (as the 360 one was full as usual);
Nintendogs - i see why people like this, it is cute and brings a smile to your face to see the puppies playing around but I can't see it having much lastability and will only get it if it ever is cheap
Shadow The Hedgehog - well, I didn't mind the guns but was a bit unsure of how shadow kindof skates along instead of runs or rolls. I didn't really get into this and much prefer the 3D Sonics.

Guilty Gear X for DC, i dunno why but i love this damn game! it's freakin awesome, and the animation is top notch!
some of the moves are just off the chain!

Super mario 2 for Famicom disk system, I FINALLY BEAT IT! omg this game was on the level of super retarted hard. only really gott hard near level world 6, but DAMN i think i died 11 times, and still luckly got to the world 9 stages and since some one used my disc b4 it was already beatin 7 times so i got a chance to play the letter worlds!

Gun. Smoke for the famicom disk, i plug in my bandai super control II and turbo dominates this game untill i have to fight the ninja dude, then i get my ass stomped, SIGH and no continues to this game either so once i loose my lives im screwed!

samral showdown 4 MAME. been playing that for a little, and am waiting on my new arcade stick to come to play it better but not too bad of a game!

that's about it for now. hope to play some more shmups when i get them in the mail! :D

Finally picked up the HALO 2 Multiplayer Map-pack..put it in both Xboxes then went at against my Son who was in major excitement over the new maps.

I love my Son..
Linked -up..First Map we played(the one with the fast passing train he killed me 9 times before I got him once.
We tried several of the other maps where he kept outsmarting me..
One map he's in the Warthog and I'm trying to catch him..He stop, jumps in the back after getting around a corner that I couldn't see him ..I come around the corner and he rips me up.

Then we played the whole last level in Halo 2 Co-op to the ending..Then started the game over but I lost interest after jumping outside near the large gun.

I can't wait to play the new maps with 4 people.

I have a copy of Zelda Wind Waker that I'm playing through with my son. He's 5 and he's pretty good at Katamari and Burnout 3 but this is the first game we've played together that has a story line. My Parents came by and my Son was playing the game alone.. My step dad went into the loving room and was watching him play.
My Son kept giving him the controller to try it..I can hear the Wow's and Whoa's coming from the living room as my step dad was having a blast...,and being impressed at my Sons ability to play this game(Campaign) so well.
My step dad's never played this and has never even toughed a Xbox controller before....So I set up a profile for him and we all started playing Slayer with Rocket Launchers..My Son owned us bad as he kept drilling us with the Tank and flushing us out of our hiding spots.
My step dad liked it so much he's coming back tomorrow to play again..

Afterward.
A few Hours of Halo 2 Campaign with my Son...,,It's really cool when we work together driving separate vehicles.( I got tired,he's still playing.

I'm having a good time with this game,it looks nice,plays well and the action is non stop...It's one of the nicest War games I've seen yet..
I would wish it to be harder at times yet sometimes when it is hard I'd hope it to not be harder as I've yet to get frustrated in the game..
Tonight my Xbox was having problems playing the game though..Freezing and stuttering..After I got past all of that I finished a level and when the cutseen viewed in=Freeze..The Xbox froze up and felt overheated.
So I have to re-do that whole level again.
I'm not mad that I have to re-do the mission as it was great and it was the first mission that I had to use the most strategy to pass
