(Is anyone else here A.D.D. when it comes to vg's? Seems like I've always got 3 or 4 games going and before I finish them I buy 3 or 4 more and start playing those games...I think I have about 20 different games I've never finished but play on a near rotational basis.)

I'm pretty sure I am... I've got 4 games I'm playing through on a rotational basis, and quite a few that I want to start playing or finish playing once I play through the other ones.

Earlier today I was playing Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 for PS2, and tonight I played some more Sonic 2 on Sonic Mega Collection for GC.

I played 007: Agent Under Fire a bit for GC today... despite the fact that the C-Stick sucks, it's a surprisingly fun game.

The thing that really sucks about that game is the inability to save multiplayer options. Stupidest thing I have ever seen in a multiplayer game, especially one with so many options to change, it keeps me from playing multiplayer cause the setup is too frustrating.

Btw, i'm playing Diablo on psx. Just beat The Butcher with my son. He dropped a +14% resistance to magic ring. He usually drops the Cleaver, but I imported a character who already beat him once.

XBOX..

I got to the Boss(Mongoose) on XIII and couldn't beat him..He's incredibly hard..No lie,If I had a Code for all weapons/ammo or Invincibility I'd just beat him to see the ending..

I really got frustrated trying over and over that I just said the heck with it..no biggie.I enjoyed the game..
I have a ton of games to start playing..But,I needed something in Car Racing after the frustration of not being able to beat that boss.

I popped Pro Race Driver back in and did really well at the game like I was so used to it...I've been on a Winning Streak..

To be honest,I was doing real good in Pro Race Driver when I started playing it before XIII and then I started to suck and lose races and just plain suck..
I think I lost focus and really wanted to play something else.

I played Pro Race Driver for a few hours tonight and I'm still doing great at the game..I have no clue what happened..
My focus seems to be more into the game..I'm not thinking about any of the other games I'd like to start.
I like this game...I like it a lot...(Note: I always play this game in Over the Hood View..for realism..
The cockpit view is just to intense..

Yesterday was the first day I'd been able to devote serious time to gaming in a while. (Finally took my comprehensive exam to finish my master's degree. Hope I passed!)

Anyway, after the test, I picked up Max Payne for Xbox for $10 at Gamestop yesterday. I really enjoyed it even though Bullet Time quickly got old. I got up to the chapter with the two brothers. I killed them and their henchmen, but I couldn't get out of the building, so I saved it and turned the machine off.

Then, I finally started up 007: Everything or Nothing for PS2. It's a pretty good game, which is good since I have a review due for work tomorrow morning. The rappelling down walls actually works better than the swinging in the Spider-Man games, although it was a bit too Metal Gear Solid in some parts.

Well, I'm off to search for Dreamcast games today...

Simpsons Hit & Run..PS2

Hmm,..
What can I say about this game..

Coming off playing XIII a FPS.. and Pro Race Driver....It's quite a differeny experience..

It's a fun game...I'm not jumping for joy with it,but It's keeping me interested and I'm getting a laugh.

Right before I popped in Simpsons Hit & Run..tonight..
I played Rainbox Six 3 and Terminator 3 Redemption on the OPM Demo..
So I was jumping into a whole new ball game with Simpsons Hit & Run..

I own and have finished Rainbox Six 3 on the Xbox..The PS2 version/demo looks pretty decent and they have changed things around slightly.

I have played Terminator 3 Redemption on an Xbox demo..

I'd say the PS2 demo looks pretty close to the Xbox version..I liked the Xbox version more though..
I couldn't get used to the crazy way the controller was set up for the PS2 demo..I easily got used to the Xbox control method..

:( I... I thought nobody cared!

LOL The cab looked a lot like the one on the left of your impressive sig but not totally. I'm presuming that it's a two-slot MVS conversion. It's got the paint job on the control panel, but the side art is just a big sticker. Likewise, the marquee isn't as nice. But the games are good: Metal Slug X, and King of Fighters '97! I've put a lot of quarters into those machines. It's at the "arcade" on campus--a place in a basement that doesn't get a lot of traffic where someone decided to store some arcade cabs. I don't classify it as an arcade because it's so freakin' bright with the flourescent lights and tile flooring.

The place isn't very popular, but King of Fighters still sees some action. People still pay for it even though you can save a quarter with Tekken, which is set to free mode.

But,I have to admit to cheating.. :o :embarrassed:
I'm using the "No Top Speed" code so I can have a bit more speed..

It's sort of like giving every car BALLS..

I'm enjoying the game more this way and have to control the speed now, whereas before I was just chugging along..Even with this cheat I'm still just beating any opposing racer/etc by the skin of my teeth..

The fact that they didn't make this online from the start is a shame, nothing beats it. It's an addiction, and absolutely the best experience online i've had with the Xbox.

GameSpy Tunnel is also a dream. I've had more lag with official Xbox online games. I mean, I just can't believe it, blows my mind. I played with some guys from Iraq last night, and that alone beats the close-ended nature of Xbox Live. This kind of service renews my faith in online gaming, and Xbox Live could learn a lesson from GameSpy.

Makes you wonder what you pay for.

Playstation 2
WWE SmackDown: Shut Your Mouth!

NFL 2K2
Red Dog: Superior Firepower
Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense
World Series Baseball 2K2

The first 3 Dreamcast games listed are ones that just arrived on Wednesday. I wanted to mainly check them out and they all played perfectly. My NFL 2K2 game started off well...my first play from scrimmage was a 69-yard touchdown pass as my Steelers whomped the Cincinatti Bengals 28-0...and that was just in a game featuring 5-minute quarters...

Last night and this morning, I tried some of the games I bought lately. Last night, I finally took Skies of Arcadia out of the Cube to play Space Raiders. As a modern style shooter, it kicks butt, but it' s been discussed enough in the other forum. Then, I played Midway Arcade Treasures on the Xbox. I started with Robotron 2084 and Root Beer Tapper, and I finally played Klax and Smash TV. I still prefer Robotron over Smash TV!

Earlier today, I booted up the PS2. This morning, I opened Qix Neo and Castlevania: Symphony of the Night and couldn't really get the hang of either. I also tried Cyberia which sucked. I had to play a bit more NFL Street because I had a review due for work this morning.

When I got home, I tried Robotron, Root Beer Tapper, Klax, and Paperboy with my Universal Arcade Stick with varying results. I'll probably end the night with a run through Space Raiders...

Out of curiosity, what's on the demo?

Today, I played more Super R-Type, and a little Tetris on Tetris/Dr. Mario on my SNES.

I have to say ..This months Demo is lacking..Seems the magazines getting cheap on the ole playable demos..
I haven't tried Alias or Sonic Heroes yet..I jumped right into TOCA Race Driver 2..
Since I've been playing Pro Race driver.. recently, I was very used to this game..It pretty much feels like an Extension of the first game with online availability/as you have to go into the Xbox Live demo part to play this game.

Two available 2 lap races using two Fords..actually 3 races, but the first is more of part of the intro where an instructor/boss tells you off with hilarity.
I didn't win right away in the 1 player race..I kept coming in second until I got focused..The second race I ate the competition up and they were no where to be seen.

I watched all the demos etc and the Silent Hill 4 "The Room" is Creepy...man..it's really creepy.
The only thing I haven't found is the Bonus Secret Playable Hidden Demo..

If I had to say one thing I hate about the disc is..they throw the "NBA Ballers"game video in front of you everywhere, sometimes you can't even click out of a showing of the game..

If you can tolerate that game for more than 10 minutes, you are a better man than I.

I can,but only if I use a Cheat Code.. :P

Does tolerating the repetitive and boring SNES Alien Vs. Predator for a half-hour count? LOL

@Videogamerdaryll: Nice finds!

I played more Burnout 2 for GC, along with Tetris and NBA Jam Tournament Edition for SNES.

NBA Jam TE is the first game in years that has made me want to slam my SNES controller on the floor in frustration (although I didn't... I killed 2 SNES controllers back in the day doing that... I've learned my lesson LOL ). Even on the easy setting it's tough to get a nice lead... the biggest pain is that the team that didn't have the ball at the end of the last quarter gets it at the beginning of the next one. So when the other team makes a three point with 1 second remaining from the other side of the court, and your team gets the ball but can't make a shot before the buzzer, the other team gets the ball next quarter, and if they make a dunk, they've just made a 5 point run. That occurred three times in two games.
So I don't think I'll be playing that again for a while.

Burnout 2, however, has quickly become one of my favorite racing games... but I knew it would. :D
