My cousin wanted me to pick up Unreal Tournament 3 for the PS3 to play against him. After two days of playing, I'm rank 2000 in the Pure server and a little over 15,000 in the custom. One of the people my friend works with is ranked 100,000 in custom, so only two days of playing and I'm better than him :p. Still not caught up to my cousin who is ranked 700 and 2000 or some other people that he knows who is ranked less than 100 on custom.

Three days and I get bored out of my mind in UT3. The majority of people must suck because I was in the 10,000 ranking and I spent about 10 matches grabbing the nearest Flak Cannon/Rocket/Shock Rifle, etc. Anything I could kill myself with getting atleast 100 deaths per battle on myself.

I only went from 10,000 in custom to 70,000. Sure it's 60,000, but I killed myself well over 500 times that adds to my deaths.

Also the reason why I've been mass killing myself is that I won't go back to the game because technically I'll have a ruined record on that game and seeing as the record is online, it means it's unrecoverable. I won't want to use another name and I definitely wouldn't want to work my record back up from pathetic even back to what I was at itself. It's what I do with games I hate that happen to be online multiplayer.

Another thing this tells you. New games suck ass. I can go plaly Goldeneye and the game is enjoyable to this day, but I go play UT3 and the game starts boring me. I know games are supposed to be find, but it's just boring after playing it awhile. Same thing with Halo 3, which sucks. But then I can pick up and play Halo 2 because the game actually has good stages.

Finally got to level 80 in World of Warcraft at 6 AM last night. It took me just under a week, which is longer than I would've liked but oh well.

Just finished Half-life for the first time yesterday on ps2. So Last night I started Half-life 2 (orange box) on my 360.

I have had my 360 for about a year and I really haven't played it that much. I have to say that half-life 2 looks pretty sweet after playing the first one on ps2.

Batman & Robin (Genesis)

Not to be confused with the SNES game, or the absolutely abysmal SCD version, this one or two-player cooperative sidescroller has you chasing some of the comic series' greatest villains across wildly imaginative and visually stunning levels. Most of the time, you're throwing various projectiles at enemies, but you can also engage in minimal hand-to-hand combat. With long, diverse stages and a high difficulty, this is, in my opinion, one of the most pure action/twitch games of the 16-bit era (or maybe any era). If more games like this had come out earlier in the SG's life, maybe the 16-bit shoe would've been on the other foot.

Final Fantasy(NES)

End of the game, level 23 with Knight, Red Wizard, Red Wizard, and Grand Master. Bought 99 potions. Got to Garland with 50-60 potions left(no level 1 or level 3 magic left.) Each Red Wizard has one level 4 spell left, enough for one Fast casting. Cast Fast on the Knight and Grand Master, Tmpr every turn after. Killed Chaos in three turns(one of those turns I had to cast Cure 3.)

This is about the 100th time I've beaten the game.

I've kinda been in a funk lately, so even though I'm in the middle of three games, which is a lot to have simultaneously for me, I've put almost everything on hold. The only thing I've still been playing a tiny bit here and there is Mario Golf on my Game Boy Advance SP. I'm a couple levels shy of 40 now, and I have close to 20 hours on the clock. I "beat" the game in that I got credits, but I still had to beat Gene Yuss in a Match game and beat the newly opened up Peach's Castle tournament. I already did the former, but I believe I did reset several holes. I can be proud of my performance on the Links course, though, as I only reset twice on the 16th hole because I kept plunking the ball in the water. Other than that, plain old practice got me through without having to rely on "cheating". Peach's course is a bitch and a half, though, so I've been reseting a lot to improve my standing but not to win, just to make leveling up a faster, less tedious process. The practice has been good for me, though, so I think I can take it soon. I could have done so before back when I was tied with Mario on the 18th hole, but I stupidly took the par rather than reseting and ended up with 2nd place. I also have a few star challenges left to do, but they're a pain.

Other than that, I've only played a few other games for testing purposes. I gave Eternal Poison a try on PlayStation 2, and I finally used my new Xbox 360 by popping in the pack-in arcade compilation. I tried every full game on there, but I spent the most time with Boom Boom Rocket. I'm into classical music, but I wasn't fond of the majority of the techno remixes.

Spiderman vs. Kingpin (SCD) IMO, one of the best Spiderman games ever made. Totally non-linear gameplay, a cool soundtrack, and some of the goofiest animated cinematics this side of a 1980's cartoon. It even has Spiderman Pinball!! And if you fail, your ball falls off the playing field, inexplicably lands in front of the Police Station and spits you out onto the stairs, leaving you crumpled up like some homeless drunk right before the cops haul you in and throw your ass in a cell. Hey, just like real life!

Just finished Chrono Cross....with the complete ending. Had me sweating a few times during the final boss battle. Picked up Project Gotham Racing (#1) for the Xbox this week and happily dove right into it after Chrono. More Turismo online on PS3. Twilight Princess on Cube. My 7 yr old is playing Paper Mario on the N64. It's his first attempt at an *rpg* that isn't Pokemon. He's ready to move up in his gaming career.
