Been replaying Metal Gear Solid (all the snow feels so festive), but stupid Rex keeps beating me up.

Also playing Zelda 64 for the very first time. People five years ago were right. This game DOES rule.

Two other games I started and want to finish, eventually. are Wonder Boy in Monster World on the Sega Genesis and Zelda a Link to the Past on the SNES.

I am finishing up GRANDIA II on the Dreamcast. This has been a fun game. I am 90 hours into it.

Next, I think I will be starting up Revelations: Personna.

Since it is summertime, I am also trying out a couple NES baseball games. I am trying Baseball Stars II and Dusty Diamond's All-Star Softball.

But because the NHL Stanley Cup is on, I am also playing some Ice Hockey and Blades of Steel, also, of course, on the NES.

And I ALWAYS have a Golf game going. My favorite golf game series is Hot Shots, but I am currently playing NES Open Tournament Golf, a pretty neat game.

it's finals week so I can't game too hard this week. I love n64, by far my favorite system of all time. Lately I've been playing adeventure/rpg games i never really got the chance to play all of the way through. I recently picked up the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and I've been playing it every spare second I have.

Currently playing:

Halo: Reach beta (360. I know I'm gonna catch it for this, but "Meh." Fun little update, but I was really expecting more from this. I know it's a beta, but it's probably safe to say this is pretty close to what we'll receive in the fall, at least for multiplayer. Halo 3.1. At least it's still really fun. I like the Halo series for sure, but I'm really eager to see what a new developer can do with the license.)

MUSHA (Genesis. Still can't get enough of this game!)

Half Life 2 (360. Never got very far in this game on the PC due to my occasionally almost-crippling motion sickness. Things aren't going much better this time, but I'm soldiering through it anyway with frequent breaks. Heck of a game.)

Raiden III (PS2)

Just finished:

Portal (on 360. Played this [and obviously completed it] for the first time four days ago. Very fun, but the cult status is completely lost on me. I thought all the "Still Alive" and "The cake is a lie" stuff seemed lame. Man, I'm getting cynical these days! Shockingly, this game induced almost no motion sickness despite being built on the source engine, and involving so much wild movement with the portal gun.)

Violinist of Hameln (SFC) - An interesting platformer from Enix where you play as this dude who kills enemies with his violin. But, you also have this girl following you through the levels who you abuse in certain ways to get through some areas. Brick wall blocking your path? Just pick up the poor girl and toss her carcass through the wall! Can't reach a platform? Bounce off of her head! Spikes impeding your progress? Dress her up in a costume (don't ask) and force her to carry you across the spikes! I wonder why this never came to the states... Great music, though!

On the Wii: Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Brothers Brawl, Klonoa and A Boy And His Blob. On the PS3: GTA4:Episodes and MLB' 10: The Show.

I had my best game of MLB '10 so far playing as the mediocre Baltimore Orioles. I won 8-3 over Boston in the April 30 game. Kevin Millwood pitched 7 innings, allowing only 1 run and striking out 9. Matt Wieters hit a Grand Slam and Garrett Atkins hit a double, triple and a homer. I stand at 9-14.

One of my gaming buddies came over for our usual Friday get-togethers. So, we played:

Gokujou Parodius (SFC)
Violinist of Hameln (SFC)
Twinbee Rainbow Bell Adventure (SFC) - with 2 players, this is way too chaotic!
Pop'n Twinbee (SFC)
Ganbare Goemon 4 (SFC)
Kirby's Dreamland 3 (SNES)

When I was by myself, I played:

Secret of Mana (SNES)
Super Turrican 2 (SNES) - visually amazing, but the game seems incredibly half-assed.

3D Dot game on ps3 very cool little game

I've been hearing about that, sounds like a really neat game. Kinda makes me wish I had a PS3.

I started a new quest in the original Legend of Zelda today. I've beat it on the GBA port, but never on the NES itself, so that's what I'm setting out to do. I just finished the 2nd dungeon, and have the lvl-2 sword, the big shield, the blue candle, and I believe 8 heart containers. I love this game :rocker:

Well, I don't know about the N64 one, but there's quite a bit of platform-jumping in here and they're spaced just far enough that you have to be pixel-perfect on the edge when you leap in order to make it to the other side. If you can get past the language barrier, it's an awesome game, but Jeezus...the platforming!

Final Fantasy Tactics War of the Lions. Both slow as molasses and paint dries faster are good terms to compare to the speed of this game. Why do all Square Enix ports seem to be incredibly inferior to their original versions?

Grand Theft Auto the Ballad of Gay Tony. Almost at the end. Have been playing a mission here or there.

Sword of Vermilion. I like the game a lot though I've never beaten it. Going to make sure I play through it to the end now. Just defeated the first boss and saved the king of Parma. Battle system and world map system you move around quickly, but it's got a pretty slow town movement and text system.

Started Final Fantasy 12 again. Purchased it first day, put less than ten hours into it and never touched it again. I enjoyed the storyline, hunting different marks, the graphics, menu, etc. At the time I didn't enjoy the gameplay.

So giving the game another chance and starting at the very beginning. Put five hours into it so far and am actually before where I ended the game. I still don't like the fact that you don't control your characters without taking more time each turn. I also don't like how whenever I was running back from the Estersands to Rabanastre after getting out of the cave after saving Basch and whenever attacking enemies, the enemy is usually the closest one so everyone locks onto that specific enemy and once it dies, then everyones atb resets as they lock into the other one who just got into range. Instead of resetting why couldn't they have simply redirected the focus of the attack? That's what is more stupid than the fact you set up character gambits and don't have much control to them.

So right now I can say I'm enjoying it. A little over two hours each of the past two days.

Alien Crush was the first in the Naxat Crush Pinball series so it may be a step back in design if you should decide to pick it up. But, don't let that discourage you. The music and atmosphere in Alien Crush is amazing!!!
