Beat Doom 3 (yawn) not overly impressed, was getting sick of all the "dark areas"

Just installed and playng for the first time - Baluder Gate 1 for the PC - so far, so great :)
Also playing GTA3 for PC as well

For GC
A little Metroid Prime - I am terrible at this game - I kill the 1st boss and can't make it off the ship in time.... just shoot me...

Still playing for the Xbox
Ninja Gaiden (picked it back up again - now in Chapter 12 - wow)
KOTOR - (I put it down for a while - I'm back)
NHL Hitz 2003
Tony Hawk Underground 1 (stuck in Hawaii - on the roof...)

Two levels of Metal Slug on the big red.

Almost played fully through Shock Troopers 2 on the Candy before switching to Super Baseball 2020

He beat my butt again..11 to 7

I need some practice for tomorrow nights game/rematch of Super Baseball 2020 so I played two games against the computer winning ...but not by much..

Then I started playing Killzone till now.(4am)

My son was playing HALO while I was playing Killzone..but he wanted to play HALO 2
So,
I set him up in an hour long multiplayer game against no one...
He was having a ball running around,getting into the vehicles and blowing whatever he could up.
He's only 3 but has the controls pretty down packed..

I've had the software.....but couldn't find a decent problem-free machine......until yesterday!!!

I'm playing Secret Of Mana and Secret Of Evermore on the S-Nes. It's the first play I'm making my way to the stories and both games are amazing. At the moment I like SoM a bit better.

I started playing KILLZONE late tonight....but still stopped at 4am.....again..
Earlier my son was playing HALO 2 set up on a different map etc.(learning/getting better at it.)
While we were playing I paused Killzone and popped CUBIVORE into the GC and watched the intro..I wanted to see what it looked like,what the intro as the different cubes attempt to walk with some interesting background music.(so tempted to press start)
This game intrigues me but I don't want to start playing it until Killzone if finished...(too many games are left finished on my shelf)

Being a HALO fanatic I figure it would be expected of me to say I like HALO 2 better then KILLZONE ...

I loved HALO 2......But I sort of knew what to expect after playing HALO ten thousand times over...and reading so much about it.
With Killzone I went into the game blind...I didn't read up on it or anything....besides reading players opinions.

I'm clearly having more fun with KILLZONE ..then I did with HALO 2..
Now I won't say KILLZONE is the Halo 2 killer it was drummed up to be but it's a damn great game.

HALO 2 I'll play ten thousand times over..Co-op/Link etc..
KILLZONE I'll play I think in the max 4-8 times to use different characters when available to complete each mission..But I'll have a lot of fun doing so and the game gets really intense.

I left off tonight getting killed right after blowing up the bridge...I like to use RICO for his heavy weapons..
Some missions I just can't see passing without using him,but I'd like to try using the other characters.
It's going to be hard to use certain characters for certain mission and man I'm going to get my butt kicked..
This is where the replay value of this game shines..

I would of liked to been able to carry 4 weapons..and to have been able to change between characters on the fly while in play (later after completing the game)
But that most likely would kill the replay value.

My sons curently playing HALO 2....(right now)

My ongoing Super Baseball 2020 re-match didn't come through this week..but I've been practicing.
Playing more of it today..

I need to pick one team to get used to...and work with..

I had a great game of Superbaseball 2020 against the computer tonight.
Man they were playing hard..They ran up 7 runs by the bottom of the 6th inning.
The Computer was playing hard with the leading a bases/stealing and holding me off.

Top of the 7th inning I started using the money I had and upped the players putting in Pinch hitters etc..
I scored 12 runs in the 7th inning a 3 run homer and just kept loading the bases against the strongest pitcher they had.

So I won 12 to 7..and the computer used everything it had in the 8th..

I stop playing and my son jumps in my seat and starts playing FLIP SHOT...against my nephew.
It's amazing just how well they play this game at their age.
Though they are kids they don't bash my buttons and joys.

Now they are playing Shock Troopers 2

Having a Dreamcast pig-out.

Playing PSO, the original. Started Shenmue again, played Virtua Tennis and Pen Pen TriIcelon, Sega Marine Fishing.

Right now I've got the console playing both sides of Green Bay vs New England on NFL2K1.

I just picked up this Dreamcast and 24 games......I really have missed this system and should NEVER have sold mine, so needless to say my focus for at least the next month straight will be DC.

Just started Full scpectrum warrior, I thought it was a FPS, but this military sim is quite a nice suprise, i didnt like the 45 minute intro though

Also playing Chu Chu Rocket and Dr. Mario, I gotta get my puzzle fix :D

Just picked up Viewtiful Joe for ps2. And my usual dose of Capcom vs. Snk 2 for ps2. I need to pick up Capcom Fighting Evolution soon so I can practice for the arcade.

Daryll: Could you write up a mini review on Killzone? I've been contemplating getting this game, but I haven't spent $50 on a game in oh so long. ;) Hell even the positive and negative points about the game would be appreciated.

I just played two of the greatest games against my friend in Superbaseball 2020 ..

Had a Great Time Playing (PGM-IGS) Demon Front on the Candy Cab today..Man this game Rocks!!!
My Buddy loves it..it's all he's talking about.....we played it to the End.

Finished KILLZONE tonight..

Pretty much leaves off as to say a sequel/continuance will be coming out.
I was playing the "offline" Battlefields against Bots a bit after I was done with the missions.
It's different..I want to try it all before I shelf it..

Watching my son play HALO 2 with my wife puts me in awe.
He's only three and the way he moves Master Chief around using both analog sticks,picking stuff up,flying around,driving the vehicles ...and just the way he throws the grenades..Just like I do..
Leaning back etc to get them to go further..
It's just amazing how he plays this game..

He kept wanting to sit on the floor and play..
Made him a quick Game chair out of a COSCO Childs Car seat..
(type)The car seats that sit up,for bigger kids...Perfect..

I've finally found a little free time to actually play some games in my collection!

Lately, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy has been taking up the most amount of time in my Xbox, followed closely by Star Wars: KOTOR. I am also playing for the Xbox:

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
Sonic Mega Collection
Pure Pinball

For the PC, I just picked up two games at Goodwill for $6.00 apiece (woooooot!) - the Sims 2 and Sim City 4. I have never played a Sims game yet, and haven't yet got into Sims 2 much. I have now played through Sim City 4 for a few hours though, and quite frankly I'm not impressed with it so far. I have always loved this series, and nothing seems to be that different about this, and I HATE that it adds it's own roads. The driving missions are cool, but what in the world is with the weird controls for it?

I'm sure I'll be spending some more time playing those in the near future, but I don't know how much...

It turns out I played neither. I did spend a good half hour trying out Extreme-G 3 and Need For Speed Underground (both for GC) when I got home from work, though. I was thinking of playing some GTA: SA afterwards, but I was too tired.

I'm totally ioff with the controls and remembering the map etc after playing Killzone.

I'm at the meet girl steal 18 wheeler truck mission and I just could not do it..
I turned it off until tonight.

Playing BREAKERS REVENGE in the Big Red now...Took it out of the candy Cab..

For some reason it didn't like being after Aero Fighters 2 and Metal Slug in the Big Reds cart line-up..(sound would go out on the board during demo loop.
So I had to put it in slot 2 and it's fine .....Still working fine as it's on right now and the cabs been running for over an hour.

It's that little crazy stuff like that,that happens to me with MVS..

I have to say BREAKERS REVENGE is a Super Fast Game..

Nice night..

My wife comes home and I have the Big Red running..She goes right to it and plays League Bowling...
Sweet!!...I love it when my wife starts playing my games or Arcade machines.

Idea!!..Comes to mind..
Pop on the lil BAM cab that currently has Puzzle Bobble 2 in it..
After a few games of League Bowling she sees the PB2 game demo playing in the BAM cab..Credits the cab(No Freeplay on Taito F-3 systems)..
She gets right into playing this game... stool and all.
:D ..I have it set on hard because she's a wiz at Puzzle Bobble/Bust A Move type games.
This game gives her a challenge that kept her playing and I have to say..This version is awesome,much more then I expected.
It's a much better game IMO then the MVS Bust A Move that's in that cab too.(And you know I'm an MVS nut)

This made my night because I've been waiting for her to play this game..I set that cab up mainly for her...
And she likes the game a lot..
I guess I should just have the cabs on when she comes home..
I enjoy seeing my wife and son play my cabs and systems..

Otherwise I played a bit of Breakers Revenge while my son played Halo 2

I'm currently playing GTA-SA..trying to finish the trucking missions.
