I realized I have this controller around but never figured out what it's really for..In games.

I'm playing Shenmue on the Dreamcast....again!!!! :D It's STILL a treat to play.....and this time it's different. Since I already know what happens and where to go to make events occur, I'm getting there earlier in the game and it's changing details on the fly.

Tonight,I was playing GTA-SA then I stopped to observe my son playing Halo 2

I just sat there watching him and realizing just how well he gets around in this game.
So I thought.."It's Time"...It's time to play him in Deathwatch HALO linked..

I set it all up and he was very excited about it...
We had a ball..We played for well over an hour chasing each other in the Warthogs and Tanks etc..
I mainly just ran from him and he kept on me throwing grenades at me ..I would spin around and shoot over his head and throw grenades near him but miss intentionally..
My wife sat there and edged him on to get me,laughing....it was fun...It's his-our first time doing this....He's ready.
It's amazing just how well he drives that Warthog...He drives it better then a few Adults I know..

I'll do this with him a bit..get 2 more people and play 4 people then I'll do CO-OP with him..That ought to be fun..

I hit the local Target tonight..looking for cheap games and noticed games were scarce..they took out 2 of the 3 game clearance racks and the greatest hit rack.
Then had a Nintendo DS display ..but someone destroyed the screens scratching them horribly where you can't see anything.(some retard)
I haven't checked this thing out yet,but from what I could see it looked pretty cool..

I needed a break from GTA -SA...The Zero mission on the roof gave me a headache because I can't pass it..

I started playing CALL OF DUTY (XBOX)..It's....OK......I hate the fact that there is no way to change the controller layout to how I like it..
It's just too hard to get used to...

I got two new games yesterday: Bust-A-Move 2 Arcade Edition for the PS1 and Dark Chronicles (aka Dark Cloud 2). I didn't play the Bust-A-Move game because I allready knew it. I just bought it because it was very cheap (i got it second-hand) and because I didn't have a B-A-M title on the PS1.

Dark Chronicle is another story. I got it sealed from a regular game store, but for half the original price. I only had the time to play about 2 hours but I allready can tell that it is a great game!! Better than Dark Cloud: the graphics are lovely and the soundtrack beautiful, and not to speak about the gameplay! Very addictive for me...

One major gripe I have is..

I change the controller layout to the sucky but better"Sharpshooter" method.

Whenever I start another mission and or continuing from another without turning off the system it changes me back to the defalt/Standard controller layout..I have to keep changing it as I progress in the game.

Without spoiling the game..

A few missions I've played in the game tonight were very enjoyable so when they come along I like the game better.
The firefight can be very intense.
Well tonight I ran into a glitch problem that I have ran into before but not so bad.
The controller method changing back to default seemed to only happen in the beginning stages and for sure when exiting a vehicle)that was annoying in itself.

I left off playing this game getting killed for the forth time and being thrown so far back to restart it's ridiculous....going back so far ruins the fun..
I left off tonight saying FK THIS GAME!!!...

To pass certain missions certain weapons are needed..or,are a must and are obtainable.."Sometimes"

For some reason if I get killed and have to start over from the far check point I won't have the weapon that I had when I passed that check point and the game will not let me pick it up no matter how many are lying in front of me.
I can stand over them and try but all I get is ammo........ for a weapon that is not in my possession..
The weapon I need in this decent-long mission is the PANZERSHRECK...but I can't pick it up..
I run around and even grab lighter weapons to exchange for this one and I can't pick it up...but I can fill up on ammo from it..
It's like the game thinks I have the weapon already(glitch)
Before I had to restart I could pick them up all day..Something's happening when I have to restart.

I restarted 4 times and still can't pick it up....Turned it off and just said FK THIS GAME!!!.....

The other night I was beat by the computer pretty bad.
I was winning but sometimes it seems the computer will get ON FIRE and just hit anything you throw at them..
Plus FLY around the bases etc..

I just put the two of them in the candy cab today after taking out the mother board and giving it and inside the cab a general cleaning..I usually leave the cab running for awhile to just check out the demos and make sure everything is working properly....One of the main things I like about Neo Geo is watching the game demos

Whoa...Just passed a decent mission and the game Ends..

Oh man I expected a lot more..

I really don't see an ending...this game could go on forever with sequels.

HINT: to anyone playing it.
Before starting off in a mission look around..A needed weapon may be hidden where you can't see it outright.
If you get killed in a mission because you are lacking a must needed weapon...you missed it or it's been passed up..
Go back and find it if you can
Not knowing this has caused me many deaths and aggravation.

I really was pushing these cars..I like the game it's a must buy..

Anyways i was playing some Classic NES series games while browsing my email.
You are SUPER TALENTED, or have Nintendo DS style vision; which is it?

For myself, feeling distinctly angry about the two following games:

Apocalypse (Bruce Willis, that one) and Dino Crisis, both original PlayStation titles.

Apocalypse for all the cheap, cheap deaths. There have been a few places where I went from having 6-8 lives to 0 within the course of a minute or two. Awful environmental stuff, and forget about trying to jump around on ledges. Grr.

Dino Crisis for the lack of ammunition and the futility of fighting. There's really no sense trying to fight in the first half hour or so of the game; you only find enough ammo to take down perchaps three or at most four raptors for good, and there's way more than that. Thankully health items (mixable) are plentiful, so I can multiply/intensify to my heart's content. Unfortunately the chest system of RE2 has been replaced with multiple boxes that you can't access from very many places, so once again the whole exercise is worthless for the first half hour or more (besides finding places to drop off extra health items anyhow). The game REALLY makes me mad when I've already had to use four resurrection items in that time period, though.

Besides that, it's got great graphics for being a fully 3D game, the controls don't pose too much of a problem (it's mostly an issue of speed) and the strangeness of having dinosaurs rampaging around a research facility isn't too obvious. Game needs cheats though (outside of the infinite grenade launcher cheat given after playing three times, WOW) LOL

So my friends come over tonight (((one who's supposed to be getting his ass posting here since he wants to become a member and loves the Neo/gaming.

We start playing Super Baseball 2020..

For once I'm feeling very confident to win...and I am..I'm doing real well.
I start noticing on my side of the Candy cab(player 2) the Control Panel seems to be lifting when I press hard on the sticks.....WTF!!
I start messing up,making stupid mistakes. ..though my buddy's gameplay is way better then mine...He beats me 10 -6

After he beat me I wanted him to try and beat the computer where I left off..(Saved Game)I've been trying to beat them and one game they got me by a run..
They are up and fully charged with plenty of cash...The Score is them 2 me 1..
I'm down to a beat pitcher and nothing..
I use this little trick with the memory card.
If I don't play and save in the inning after this one..I can keep Soft Resetting the cab(uni bios) and the game will start at this inning where I'm pitching
The object is I need to strike them out in this inning and then save/score in the next
So if I strike them out then let the game save and don't turn the cab off the game will be saved where I'm up.
If I turn the cab off and didn't play through where I was up the upon start-up the memory card will load back to whereas they are up and I need to strike them out again.
I've been stuck at this spot because I really didn't want to lose to the computer..I wanted to accomplish beating them and continue in the Championship.
It took my buddy 5 or 6 tries before he was able to beat them..and they were playing real hard..
He was so determined to beat them and he did..
I'm sitting there putting in and pulling out the memory card when he doesn't win and Soft Resetting the cab.

Plus one thing I don't like about these Candy cabs...The location of the memory card.
It's so easy to bump and crack it with someone's knee..Your knees are right under it.
While in Gameplay if you jolt your knee up while sitting you could crack it right in half.
I wonder just how many times this may have happened...I won't leave it in when friends are over playing the cab.

After all that play tonight..I realized the latch on the Control Panel that keeps the right side closed/locked has moved-came loose
So I fixed that problem..but though I suck it took away from my concentration tonight playing Super Baseball 2020

This is my least played machine.

Tomorrow I'm going to do some work to the cab.
I have this slight line that goes flowing up in the monitor..
It's caused by a monitor chassis ground wire that I knocked off when moving the cab.
I just have to find out where it goes and put it back on..(move cab,go through back)

I had put some Red Competition Joysticks in this cab..
They are just not cutting it for me...I'm on the hunt right now for some new Joysticks.

Otherwise I'm just playing a bit more Unreal II before I hit the sack...

I just recently finished Silent Hill 4 for the Xbox.

Well, I found out I kinda screwed myself in the end because I let my partner take too much damage. The game was really good though. I liked how they mixed the first person and thrid person views and it was cool at the end how they made the apartment more intense than the twisted silent hill world. I was more excited to be back there than the apartment ;D. The game defenitely had it's freaky moments. The one that got me the best was when I looked out the front door peephole and walter sullivan was right up against the door looking back at me. It's defenitely my least favorite of the series because of some of the annoyances like backtracking A LOT, small inventory and the ghosts but it was still a great play.

Today was a different day..It was my day off and I wanted to get some work done to my cabs.
Put some Sanwa Joysticks in the Lil Bam cab and change the sticks in the Tekken 3..
I didn't get around to starting any of it until tonight.

My dad popped over...
He's never really checked out my stuff in detail..
I had all my Arcade machines running today the Slot machines,Touchmaster 7000 etc.

He's never played any of them...Well he still hasn't because after explaining everything to him about the working of them we ran out of time.
I was pretty cool showing my dad all this stuff today..
I came to learn today that though we had the 3 Arcade machines in the shop when I was younger he never played them..Not even once.
From then he's only played consoles(Atari/Pong) since then if anything.
Today was the first time he's actually pressed buttons or moved a joystick on an arcade machine.

My son was going from machine to machine showing my dad what to do and how "he" can do it..

I'd say it was pretty noisy here with everything running..
My son hitting the bonus rounds on the slot machines and the tokens falling out can be pretty loud.


Otherwise my son was showing him Halo 1 & 2..stuff my dads just never really paid attention to.
It was a bit of a learning experience for him as much as fun for me to show him..

My wife picked up these two different Halo 2 cups for me tonight.
At 7-11 filled with Soda or Slurpy $1.69 each (HARD PLASTIC Cups/Not throwaways)

got world heroes 2 euro aes in the mail today.
i can officially say i suck worse at this fighting game, than any other ive ever played.. it took me forever to get to the third level, and then i faced the cheap ass known as captain kidd, and kept beating him once , then hed throw a fit and whip my ass royally in the next rounds until he won... it seems to be a really neat game tho, too bad the single player mode blows, 2 players looks like it will be a blast.
