I played KILL SWITCH for awhile today but I got stuck, aggravated then turned it off..I hate run down timer missions.
My problem is I'm rushing..I'm trying to blow through this game because I have so many damn games to play right now.
I don't know when I'll get to play some games like RE-4,but I know if I shelf Kill Switch I'll never get around to play it..
...........At least not anytime soon.

I decided to take out Puzzle Bobble 2 and put in Puzzle Bobble 3 in my Bust a Move/Taito Cab.
I flip it on and the screens upside down..My eyes popped out,I didn't know what to do..I thought I touched some while putting the car on the mother board.
If you've ever dealt with Taito F-3 you'll understand just how hard it is to get a cart off a board.
I put Puzzle Bobble 2 back in and it was showing up on screen correctly...I was stumped until I realized there is a screen flip option in the soft dip settings on Puzzle Bobble 3 ..
I've never came across this before..
Puzzle Bobble 3 has a FREE PLAY option too..Sweet!!!

This game seems to have much more to it then Puzzle Bobble 2 ...
I can't wait to my wife plays it..

Just played through Socket on the Genesis (well, actually, Time Dominator, but it's the same game). I have to say that the DP guide doesn't really give this one any credit. It makes a worthwhile alternative when your're tired of Sonic, and the music rules to boot. The visual style reminds me a lot of Chaotix on the 32X, only slightly less smooth. I personally think it's a great game, the only problem I've got with it is that sometimes it's hard to tell what is and isn't part of the background...there's even some reasonably impressive (for the Megadrive) transparency in there.

Hopefully sometime this week I'll actually get to go play Chaotix -- I really want to, but my 32X hookups haven't arrived yet. :(

Heh. You mean someone else besides me has actually heard of that little gem? Awesome. If you liked that, I suggest you try out "High Seas Havoc." It's rather similar to socket and is also quite good.

Anyways, I played a lot of Suikoden 4 today...I'm on ch. 9 of 12, so I'm nearing the end. Great game!

Also been playing:

Shadow Hearts Covenant (PS2)
Robopon 2 (GBA)
Donkey Kong Country 2 (GBA)

And after learning that I've got the original, unedited version of revenge of shinobi, I think I might start that up too.

Inched my way through a bit more of Metroid Prime 2 -- and this time I didn't get my ass handed to me by the spider guardian! (sad, I know...) Saved and quit after getting the power bombs, as there's so many areas that just opened up I'm actually fearing the whole wandering around for hours part. :eek 2:

Ahh yes, had the box and manual to this one and found the cart for a buck and threw it in the system and it was quite rewarding. Defenitely give it a go if you haven't ;D.

Got the Xray visor, Plasma Beam, and Grapple Beam in Metroid Prime.

Played a little Advance Guardian Heroes on GBA. I like it so far, it plays different from the first game, but has relentless action and spectacle! Between AGH and Astroboy it seems like Treasure is getting back in it's prime :)

Damn fun game, one of my favorites so far. I don't like the PSX controller too much so I think I soon may invest in an xarcade stick so I can also use it on all my xbox emulation. The only thing I don't like is Duo Lon. That character is WAY too fucking overpowered.

-GTA: San Andreas
I got back to playing this for the first time since late November and finally opened up the desert and Las Venturas. The last two missions I completed:

-The mission where you fly to Angel Pine to drop a package and then back to the airstrip, but have to fly low to the ground to avoid being sighted.
-The Woozie mission where you steal explosives from the quarry. This one was pretty fun. I also had a lot of fun with the mission before this where you have to scare this mob guy tied onto the hood of your car into telling you what you want to hear.
That being said, I also passed flight school, which took me two hours.

Also completely addicted to Final Fantasy X-2 am I. I recently found it ex rental for almost a third of the normal price (it's still $100AUD over here) and I am SO addicted to it. The singing parts make me cringe though.

Working 5 days and playing those two takes up enough of my time for the meanwhile.

Metroid Prime.

I can't believe I thought I wouldn't get into this. I'm having more fun with it than I had with Halo 1 and 2 combined. I'm about 40% through the game right now. But I haven't picked up everything and scanned everything so my percentage isn't high enough for the gallery yet. (I didn't know when I started that I would get a score like that.) Can't wait for MP2 to become PC status so I can buy that one too. :D

When I tire of that for the day I try some WarioWare Inc. Mega Party Game$.

Metroid Prime.

I can't believe I thought I wouldn't get into this.

Same here. I bought it because it had the preview disc for MP2 and was the third game in a buy-two, get-one deal when I couldn't find anything else. I didn't enjoy the original Metroid game, but I can't get enough of this one.

Other than Metroid Prime, I'm also playing Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes, Mars Matrix (holy hell, the amount of time it takes to unlock stuff is making me want to throw the game out a window...) and Super Monkey Ball 2.

I'm also playing through all of my "current gen systems bought for less than $5.00" because of the EB sale. I've decided I need to part with some of my collection, so I too in the first six games today. I have another stack of eight ready to leave. I figure that at worst, if I ever want to play any of these again I can find them under $5.00. Until then, $5.00 of extra in-store credit for me :)

I don't know why, but the original Metroid seems too hard for me. I really really want to be able to play through it. But the closest I even get to seeing Mother Brain is the Metroid mini-game in Wario Ware where you have to destroy MotherBrain in the set 5 seconds... over and over and over. (I love practicing in that game.)

I hope one day to get to her in the original, or at least the Classic NES remake or the Metroid Zero remake. (Both of which I hope to pick up soon. If only there were a Game Genie for the NES Classic GBA games.)

But I'll be honest, without this FAQ, I'd be completely lost.

Also, weird, but (Fortunately after I had saved about a minute before) I just had the game freeze up on me while I was on the elevator from Tallon to Chozo. I had just saved at the Ship and was on my way when it stopped and froze. Weird. Sound was stuck and everything.

By the way, anyone know what the weird "wavy" spots on the walls are for? There's dozens of them. They seem to look like teleportation portals, but I could be wrong. What are they for??

Yesterday traveling to various Toys R Us stores this game just kept hitting me in the face.."Buy me!!" :D

I've had fun with it. Although it's lacking in a few areas, it's the best current-gen bowling game out there, imo. The controls are similar to the Hot Shots Golf games. It's also available on the Xbox if you prefer that. I'd recommend it. I believe it's $9.99 at Best Buy (at least the PS2 version, anyways) so get it there if you can.

Oh yeah, don't give up on flight school in San Andreas when you do get back to the game. It can be pretty frustrating at first, especially when you have to circle the airstrip and fly through the coronas. Halfway through I decided to take a break and do a couple of the car dealership missions in San Fierro, and the guy that wanted me to go to flight school (you probably know who he is but I don't want to give the name away since it's a spoiler) called me three different times urging me to finish up. A little annoying, but the calls were somewhat funny.

Oddworld Stranger's Wrath

When you go into a General Store to purchase items etc..
You can preview way future missions parts at the Fortune Teller/machine.
Sort of a preview video of what's to come..And from what it looks like it's extremely intense..Intense to the point that I'm going to get my butt kicked over an over.
Last night I ran into a Boss that I kept getting killed at....I tried over and over reloading the quick save with no avail..
I can't find a safe spot not to get hit...It's mainly his soldiers that are getting me..

This game gets quite hard at times almost causing me not to play it anymore, but something keeps me coming back..
I like the game..It's interesting to see what's next.

I loaded the previous save that starts before I reach this boss and I'm going to try again.

If I can't pass that boss I still want to play this game so I opted to use a cheat just to pass this Boss...
BUT: I can't get these Gamefaq's codes to work..(neither one)
What the heck am I don't wrong? :(

How to really activate 'Cheat Mode' & Cheat
This is ALL done IN GAME... There is no need to pause the game:
1. Insert a second controller into port #2 on your xbox.
2. Remove the second controller.
3. On controller 1 press X, X, Y, Y, B, B, A, A to activate cheat mode.
You will hear a sound confirming that the 'cheat mode' has been activated.
NOTE: L2 & R2 Buttons are the buttons that are directly under the Left & Right Thumb Sticks. You can hear them CLICK when you press down on the thumb sticks. Code Effect
L2, L2, R2, R2, L2, L2, R2, R2 1000 Moolah (Can be used repeatedly)

Yup.

I've got mine on hold right now at about 10 hours. I finished Headhunter and am looking into Headhunter: Redemption now, so that's half my gaming time. The other half has been taken up of trying to thin out my current-gen collections to stuff I like and will continue to play. With the EB $5 extra credit per title, it is really time for me to get rid of a bunch of games that I bought for $5 and have just been sitting around. I have played recently:

Drake
Grooverider
Kabuki Warriors
Wreckless
Quantum Redshift
Turok: Evolution (may pick up GC version, had Xbox version...)
Rallisport Challenge (I can't on with this, especially since I like RC2 in every possible way)
Amped
Future Tactics (Surprisingly good to me! I'm keepin' it!)

I also restarted playing HydroThunder last night on the Dreamcast with all the talk of the arcade port :)

I plan on going back to Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes and Metroid this weekend :D

I just spent an hour working through the Phazon Mines, beat that boss thing and die. Now I have to start all over again in a level where the enemies respawn if you leave the room. DAMMIT! I'm pissed. It's not like I can fight my way to the boss, back track, save and then run back to the boss fully healed. Noooo. There's no health at all the whole time! No refilling. I hate to say it, too much more of this shit and that's the kind of stuff that makes me throw a game on a shelf unfinished never to go back. I can't let it end like this.

It's not like I have no health. I have 1000 HP. 10 whole units! And those damn pirates just take the cake.

*sigh*

I just reached the US-Mexican border missions. I completed 4 missions today.
I started playing this last summer and got through the first 11 missions, then I moved on to something else and didn't get back to it until today.

Lately I've been playing:

PC - Thief III...replaying this awesome game. Highly enjoyable stealth (murder) action! Playing through with unlimited arrows/items this time and messing around with most of the local city folk, hilarious stuff.

NES - Adventure Island II....amazing game, lots of fun. I owned III when I had my original NES and it's just as fun as that one was.

Lately I have been trying to master Dr. Mario. I saw a video online of someone just DOMINATING level 20 on fast, and I thought it was amazing!!!
I have only been practicing for a few days, but I have beat level 20 twice, and can beat level 18 around 80% of the time.

Does anyone have any tips on how to get better? I have a hard time on level 20 at the very beginning. It really depends on what they give me. If I don't get the right pills, I usually die. :(

Been playing starfox assault...currently on level 8. I can't beat the damn boss missle...thing. It's a good game overall, but it doesn't live up to Starfox 64.

Tonight I went to my cousin's house tonight, and being the party animal that I am, I sat around and played Robopon 2 the entire time. LOL Anyway, this game is absolutely amazing. It's a criminally underappreciated game if there ever was one. The depth and customization of your characters is amazing, and the amount of cultural references jammed into this game is astounding!

I mean, what other game manages to reference Gundam, Speed Racer, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Bill Gates, Microsoft, Xbox, Apple, Mick jagger, Romeo & Juliet, Metal Slug, The Simpsons, Megaman, Masked Rider, Knight Rider, Mt. Fuji, and probably about a billion other things I'm forgetting? Robopon, that's what! GO BUY THIS GAME NOW!!!!!

Oddworld Stranger's Wrath

I played this game for several hours tonight before I had to force myself to stop.
Some new surprising twists to the game and it's getting better and better as I get further into the game

PC - Thief III

Just beat this tonight for my second time. Awesome game, really fun to play through....omg that end is so damn funny. Everyone is just getting murdered by gamall and the statues. I covered an entire HALF of the city with mines and lured a statue into my field of death and as soon as he got near.....MEGA NUKE.....AAAAAHAHAHA, man I was laughing so hard for at least a minute.

Just got done beating NCAA Football 2005 (I know most of you don't play sports games but it was alot of fun)

Now putting all of my attention into Knights of the Old Republic (Part 1) on X-Box. Not to bad of a game so far. Even though I don't see why it got game of the year last year.
