Late tonight I'm going to play IKARUGA
I've been looking for a Gamecube IKARUGA game for awhile..and My buddy found one today hidden in a Game store and picked it up for me...(It was mixed in with the Xbox games.)
I could of got one off Ebay..but I wanted it to be from a Game store/no shipping..etc.

This is one of those games that I passed up on release and said I'll pick up later on used..(Kick Myself.)
Shit,I never found one in any of the games stores I've looked for it at.

My buddy Ron has been coming over all week and we've been playing all kinds of Video Games.

Tonight's a Dreamcast Dual Gun Game night/XBox and Neo Geo..
He really wants to play NES & SNES..

Last night we started playing DAKAR 2 Rally Racing split screen and we just kept playing.
We were only going to race against each other once but were having so much fun we never stopped..
(It's fun as hell,and I hate split screen)

As good as I am with Car Racing Games he just kept beating my ass...

Finally got Animal Crossing.

It's an excellently designed game. I just started. I hope to get into it more. I'm working on paying off my Mortgage now. I'm selling Tom a bunch of seashells and cherries for starters.

Genesis: Whip Rush...when I don't wanna play Snatcher. Which is never.
Sega CD: SNATCHER...3rd time through and this game still kicks ass.
NES: Ice Hockey...the greatest hockey game ever.
SNES: Super Mario World...my g/f wanted to play it, inspiring me to play through the game again (I haven't in years)

Today I picked up the last copy of Pac Man Vs / Pac Man World 2 at TRU for $19.99. Some friends and I got together tonight with my GBA, 3 controllers, and the GCN and fired it up. I have to say that the game is an absolute blast, and I almost want to say that it alone was worth the $20.

I'm only playing one game right now. Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy on the Xbox. This game is a blast. The only draw back is the slow down and some choppy animation of things like moving pistons and fans.

Earlier I was plating Super Mario 1 on the NES. Then the SNES. Then was doing some experiments with the Minus World.

Then I played a little Mario 3.

Then I hacked my Mario 3 ROM and played with the "Super Mario Bros 3 Lost Levels"

Just beat Red Faction 2 on the Xbox. For $10, I can't complain. An interesting/fun game that kept me playing for hours on end. The battle armor guy is a bitch to kill, then you have to kill the guy who was inside. Took me all of 4 tries.
Next up: Alter Echo on the Xbox, another under $10 game. We'll see how it looks.

Metal Slug 3 on the Candy Cab..

I moved the Candy Cab to the other side of the room where it's by itself..
The spot it was in I'm putting the Neo Geo Gold machine...

I honestly didn't like the Candy Cab next to the two big cabs..It ruined the effect/smallness of the Candy Cab..

After I moved the Cab I played it for quite awhile..

My 3 yr old Son was actually playing as the second player until he decides ehh,I want to play League Bowling on the Red machine.. :D

I stopped playing Max Payne 2 right after the Fun House return/part..(Pretty Cool)

I'm finding the game to be a bit to easy..
So I'm starting it over on the hardest difficulty..

Though I needed some quick FFS action tonight so I continued my progress in Rainbow Six 3..
I have to say this game is long,awesome..and keeps me coming back for more...

1. Castlevania: Lament of Innocence (PS2, finished - great game, great atmosphere, great boss fights)

2. Rygar: the Legendary Adventure (PS2, finished, good atmosphere and exploration)

3. Colin McRae 3 (finished, XBox, first rate gameplay and control, very tense game and great challenges, graphics could be a notch better)

The Lion King - Super NES
Beat it for the first time... on the Super NES :P (I've beaten it several times back when my brother had a Genesis...it's nice to have a copy of the game again)

Super Mario World - Super NES
I read an FAQ on GameFAQs on how to get to Bowser's castle in 11 levels and although I had no doubt that it could be pulled off, just for fun I started a new game and beat it in about half an hour by going through Yoshi's Island, going to the Star World via Donut Plains, and then going to Bowser's Castle. I think I'm going to play through the whole game again soon.

I'm only on the second level at the moment. I haven't played this game much.

:D Playing Thrash Rally MVS

I recently won this Thrash Rally MVS cart off eBay then when I took a real good look at the auction picture after I won I was upset for I realized it was missing the ports for the link-up..thus being a boot.

Ahhh damn I said... I had sent payment for it already and I didn't want to complain to the seller since it looks like a boot to me..
I figured if he got wind that I thought it was a boot and that I was pissed he'd just not send me anything plus he JUST got a negative for the last auction he had up.

So I kept quiet and waited for my boot to come which he informed me he had shipped the game on Friday.
I thought Ok....First it's a boot now he gets a negative and only has two auctions on Ebay plus doesn't have a ton of feedback..

I'm going to be getting nothing in the mail.(Emails and Responses were going on during the shipping/auction)
To my surprise the game comes as he said it would ..
I get me trusty old screw driver out this morning to open up what I figured to be an EPROM boot.

Shoot..I was amazed the cart is real..the boards are original..No EPROMs
Someone just stuck the boards in a case that had no port holes and made a nice label for it.
The top board was being pushed back and wasn't aligning the cart right in the case,making it not work right..
I have a dead Riding Hero cart around with port holes that I was going to use but I decided to just drill the holes in the case the Thrash Rally came in.
It came out ok and the game works great..
I don't know what the morale of my story is but what I though was bad luck actually didn't happen..
Thank Goodness.

I did this a year ago to try it out. Beat the game in 15-20 minutes. That was pretty cool. I'll have to try for 1 life next time. (I did die a few times.)

Yeah, it was cool. I don't mean to brag, but I'm too good at Super Mario World now - I didn't die once when I tried it, but I had a couple close calls.

And it did seem more like 20 minutes than half an hour. I wasn't really keeping track of time.

Here's an interesting one to try to pull off... going through Tubular in the Special Zone without using any of those balloons that make Mario float. There is a way to do it. Make sure you beat the level first so if anything goes wrong you can start over. Then get a blue Yoshi and enter. Make sure you have Cape Mario. Jump onto anything you can, as high as possible, until you land on some blocks that will turn back into coins when the p-switch expires. Have blue Yoshi grab a shell from one of the three paratroopas as fast as possible, and then you can fly! Watch out for enemies. The shell should last long enough to get you to the goal before Yoshi swallows it. It's tricky, but it's a cool thing to try out.

Just played a rousing three-player round of Mario Kart DD. Won every time except twice. First because I kept falling in the water on Yoshi's Island. And the second because I LITERALLY got hit by 8, count 'em, EIGHT turtle shells in under 10 seconds. (My brother got two 3 Red shells and sht 'em all off one by one. Then our friend shot two green ones at me. THANKS GUYS!)

That reminds me of the times spent playing Mario Kart 64 against my brothers! :P

I'm currently playing the first Legend Of Zelda on the Zelda collector's edition for GC (I'm up to the fifth dungeon at the moment) and I also played some Dino City for Super NES.
