Heres the thing with me:
I am much more of a collector than I am a gamer. I've got 1000 games, and I have probably played 2% of them.
However, I do go out and buy a game that I want to play every once and a while. Usually, its a nice long game that I can play for a couple of months.
Just yesterday I started playing The Legend of Zelda: Windwaker.
It seems pretty cool. A little different from the other games in the series, but I'm sure it will be a good play. :)

I finished up "Full Throttle" today. Had a pretty good time with it, only got stuck a couple of times.

Now that I'm on an adventure kick I think I'm going to try and find "The Dig" and "Grim Fandango" now.

Other than that, I'm still playing "Xmen: Legends" and started a new game of "Halo", I've forgotten how good that game is.

Whew,I'm beat..The Baking Sun and Heat from being at the Flea Market today has me feeling like spent the day at the beach..
Medal of Honor: European Assault ;Started out tonight on a Desert mission..I was happy to have a Sniper Rifle but not the Shotgun...The games too hard to try and hit enemies with a Shotgun, especially when they are in great numbers.
At the start I found me a nice spot and sniped several enemies while a Tiger Tank kept blasting away until those hits got to close for comfort.
I blow up the tank and I'm half dead when I get here already due to all the enemy gunfire, plus have to hit the tank with a lot of grenades.
I get past that Tank and I'm thinking I'm safe..doing well...Only to find out that I have a Whole lot more to do...One part a Tank pulls right up on the bunker I was and starts shelling it..Whoa!! this was some serious shit!!,I had no way out..With hardly any life left I tricked it into aiming at my hidden men while I hit it with grenades.
One of the hardest things I've ever done..
Then I'm again figuring I'm ok..Find out that I still have a lot more area to cover with no hope....my men get killed I get killed and I'm done.
This mission is GREAT!!,Very intense and challenging but I can't pass it on Hard.

I go over to Gamefaqs to find a code to assist me in this level just a little,I don't find what I want but fid two codes that may help..Thing is: I can't get them to work due to Gamefaqs lacking explanation of how to put them in..

Oh well,So I load up my difficulty in normal profile and continue that, blasting through one mission since I knew what I had to do.
I thought to myself earlier this game is meant to be played on Veteran/hard..well, maybe not..
I think I'm going to have a hard time completing the Desert mission on normal..At least if I do get through it I can then try it on Veteran/hard.

Subject: Poor rooster.

A farmer has three sons. One day, his oldest boy comes to him and
pleads with him that he is graduating from school and would really
like to get a car. His father says, "Son, come with me." He takes him
to the barn and points to the farm tractor and says, "That tractor is
needed here on the farm and I promise that as soon as it's paid for,
we'll get you a car." The boy was not too happy but he did understand
that situation and said, "Okay, Dad."

A week later, his second son (10 years old) approaches him wanting a
new two-wheel bicycle. Well, he gets the same excuse .. "as soon as
that tractor is paid for..."

Shortly, a few days later, son no. 3, his youngest, comes bugging him
for a tricycle. Again, 'so Dad gives him the lecture about the
tractor being paid for first. While leaving the barn, the young boy,
more than a little disgusted with the whole thing, sees a rooster
mating with one of the hens and promptly goes over and kicks the
rooster smooth off the hens back, mumbling to himself the whole time.

His dad says, "Son, why on earth would you do something like that? He
didn't do anything to you to deserve that!"

The little boy looks Dad right square in the eye and says, "Hey,
nobody rides anything around here until that damn tractor is paid
for."

Hot Unbearable Sunday afternoon...It's to hot to do anything else but sit in front of the AC and:
As I really don't like playing games to much in the daytime/at least using headphones with a FPS.
I passed the Desert Rat mission in..Medal of Honor: European Assault...This mission was even larger then I thought,on normal it was tough though I had some angles already on how to do things better this time around
I kept all my men alive and achieved a Gold Medal by completing all the objectives..
I don't know if I'll be able to do this particular mission on hard..Maybe I can by just focusing on the main objective..But I wasn't just focusing on the main objective the first time I tried it on hard,so maybe not.. x_x :(

Subject: Too true.

Last week, I purchased a hamburger for $2.58. The young girl at the counter took my three one-dollar bills, and I also handed her 8 cents. She stood there, holding the nickel and three pennies, while looking at the screen on her register.

I sensed her discomfort and told her to just give me two quarters, but she called the manager, who had to explain the transaction to her. Today I ran across the below "illustration" and felt compelled to share.

Positives: You can get into a race right from the start in no time.
Negatives: Everything else. I had a feeling it would be bad when I found out there was no save feature. No career mode, nothing. Just pick a car, a track, and race, and once you're done, game over. When it came to graphics and sound, I was reminded of GT64 on the N64, for all the wrong reasons. Ugh. There are so many racers on the PSX you can get for the same price that this isn't even worth looking at.

I've been playing EQ2 now for about 6 months now and I really think they did a good job at putting this game together. I have six characters in it now and love playing all of them. I really like what they did with the quest system and the magic spells and effects. Awesome game.

I just finished Wonder Boy in Monster World (Genesis) and Dynastic Hero (PC-Engine), yes they are the same game. I was actually thinking of doing a write-up on the various differences between the two. I've been in a Wonder Boy mood this last week or so and I'm trying to find other games in the same style, currently playing Super Adventure Island II on the SNES.. so far it's decent but the plot is really messed up.

I keep meaning to finish Namco x Capcom (PS2) but that game lost its steam and the fanboy aspect of it has already diminished; which is saying a lot because I'm a HUGE Namco fanatic. I think I made it to stage 21 or 22.. and that was over 30 hours. At this point EVERY stage takes about two hours to complete and there are 45 or 50, meaning I'd have about 40+ hours to go and I just can't see myself lasting that long.

I've played a bit of Fable yesterday, but somehow the X-Box seemed to have problems with reading the disc and after 15 minutes of playing there was an error message like "the disc is dirty or scratched, please clean disc and start again". Yeah great, I really dislike the X-Box for doing this. The disc is not looking bad at all, I have several PS2 or PS1 games I got from second-hand shops and they are in worse shape. The PS2 or PS1 never had any problems. Stupid Microsoft!

Picked up Stolen and I have to admit im very surprised by this game.

It has many positives and just a couple negatives that keep it from being a truly great game.
Stolen has great graphics that equal those of Splinter Cell (PS2 version anyway) some very fun and interesting gameplay elements like the welding and other minigames but the few Negatives really take from what could have been an excellent Splinter Cell copy cat.
The Al needs tweaking and the big glaring issue is the fact that you CANNOT PERMANANTLY KNOCK A GUARD UNCONCIOUS :frustrated: alarm after alarm sets of unless you are some kinda Zen master with the this type of stealth game.

Dont get me wrong other than that its a very fun first offering from the guys at Blue52 wich I hope we see more from since this little title is soo promising and only misses the mark of a truly great game by a very small margin.

Disappointed:
I figured tonight let me try and finish Medal Of Honor European Assault since I feel I'm one mission to the finale/end.
Surprisingly the mission I continue at tonight was very short compared to the others.
Still a great level but I blew through it quick..

The next level as what I feel is the last mission was in instant intense battle that I didn't last the first 10 feet before getting killed.
Trying to advance is insane..It's basically running through massive machine gun and tank fire.jumping into foxhole after foxhole clearing out enemies until you reach the second line of tanks..Only then you get a breather.
The games intensity provides for a non lazy approach..This game requires you to be on constant guard, reloaded etc..Plus you need to protect/heal your 3 allied soldiers..

I tried a few different routes getting killed/starting over, then I took a smarter route to meet my first objective..
When I reached the "breather' point I was beat but had thoughts of what I just accomplished being really Cool..
I find out I need to clear out a similar area but I take it on much smarter..Even then as you figure an area is secure enemies will still be hidden as you check each bunker.
This brings the "oh shit!!" reaction..

I find where I need to go now and I've been through a lot to get to this point with no save points or anything between..
It's an awesome rockfaced hidden fortress...Thing is I'm all alone now/no help.
I have to take on the boss getting to him by myself..I say for 10-15 minutes I fight to get into this fortress taking out a Tiger Tank on the way..
As soon as the game detects I'm inside the fortress they lock me in with a Timer(I HATE Timers)..and then throw an onslaught of enemy soldiers at me..
At this point I don't have enough of anything to take them on so I get killed after giving it all I had.
Dying in this games really makes you feel defeated as it takes so long to get to where you died only to have to start over from the very beginning..
Frustration sets in and I've given up...I'll be up to 5 am if I try that again..

I need some sort of code:..health or something.
Too bad whatever codes Gamefaqs do provide for the game suck ass and don't work..

As much as I really like this game I'm disappointed that I have to leave off at this point as I'll never get past this without an edge.

Shelving this title until I find a working-useful code in the future..

I've played through the first level of Maximo vs. The Army Of Zin on the PS2. Got this game some time ago for a third of the original price or even less. Even if it got good ratings it never was a big success. Something that I don't really understand. The game itself is fun: exploring then environment, slaughter some Zin soldiers, looking for hidden stuff and helping the villains. It has neat controls and the camera angle is more or less ok. I've really enjoyed the game and I hope to play some more today.

My Son wanted my set of Sonic X cars so I went out and bought another set at Walmart tonight.

God Of War called out to me for $47.86 so I finally bought it..

I'm going to play this while playing Medal Of Honor European Assault

Playing Conker on XBOX, and Psyconauts.

Hey Big George Johnson, my son played and beat Madagasgar a couple of weeks ago when we rented it. A nice game for the kids all, not very long but nice. I told my son we weren't going to buy it because he beat it quickly, he says but dad I really like playing it and I will still play it even though I beat it. So probably when the price drops I will get it for him.

Hey stonecutter, How is Conker: Live and Reloaded for Xbox man?. I never played the N64 version, I love platformers and just wonder if I should go get it friday.

Was thinking about getting it, Destroy All Humans friday....should I?.

Super Mario Land
Beat the game. I had to use a continue in 4-3 though, so the next time I play it, I'll try to do so without using any.

My Son wanted my set of Sonic X cars so I went out and bought another set at Walmart tonight.

I was at a Target the other day and saw some Matchbox Mario Kart 64 cars - Donkey Kong and Wario. Wario's car was was some kind of van, and Donkey Kong's was a Dodge Ram. They were packaged seperately and cost 2 bucks or so, and were located with the other Matchbox cars.

.................................................. .............
So I gave it another go>Trying to finish this game.
I reached the inner compound with a good amount of life and revives only to find out my men were stuck somewhere.
I could move the icon to control them but they were stuck in the previous part of the level..A part I can see but can't get back to..I have yet to get this far with them alive..Then damn it they are glitched stuck.
I go in alone as I really need help and get my ass kicked...Aggravatingly kicked..

Start over from the beginning keeping my soldiers close and directing them into the second zone.
It seems there are railed to go thee yet something caught them up before.
This time around I seem to have bad luck as I'm in suck bad shape by the time I reach the compound that no way will I make it alone...I had ran into a detection glitch..I was shooting directly at an enemy and not hitting him/them but getting hit by them bad..and I had a clear shot.
Finally I get my guys up to the compound and they kinda help(draw fire) to take out two frontal enemies then they just go blank..
My icon/ability to control them disappears and they just stand there getting shot but not hit..sort of transparent.
Ahhhhhhhhh...All that wasted time keeping them alive was for nothing as they don't go into the compound with me.
I might as well just let them get killed, get stuck ..whatever.
Still after playing it smart going in alone even with no life I get hammered..

I think I may try and play this whole game through on easy, just to see if I can beat this mission..then play the normal profile game and try and finish it..

To Videogameking26 re : Conker,

I am not too far in, but I am really enjoying it. As far as a platformer so far, I would say not the most difficult, but the game is hilarious, which for me is worth it alone. I am quite enjoyng it. I do not have Xbox Live for the multiplayer ( and truth be known I'm not really into that type of game a lot either), but I did enjoy it quite a bit when my son and I played co-op. You can obviously play another human too. The graphics are very nice. So if you are into the multiplayer mode and have XBOX live, I would say you would get your monies worth there alone.

I paid 49.99 CdN at Future Shop, I don't regret it.

If you like platformers I also highly recommend Psychonauts on Xbox, more so than Conker for Platformer only. Check out some reviews and gameclips on this one from gamespot and see what you think, if you can get it ( doesn't seem to common), its a hoot as well.

I have not yet tried Kill all Humans, so I cant offer anything there.

I've been playing 3 Games as of late. Been playing NES open tournament golf on NES for a couple weeks, Started playing Mutant League Football a few days ago on Genesis, and tonight I started FFVII on my PS1. I have a feeling FFVII will take up most of my time. This is a game I havent finished before so now with the Advent Children DVD coming out in September I figured why not go through and beat FFVII. Its gonna be so much fun. :rocker:

Three games I'm still messing with:

"Putt & Putter"Gamegear..Finally I wrote the code down to continue in the game.. x_x

"Rally Sport Challenge"Xbox( I put in some name codes that do various things..I wish I could get all the codes to work in one name as I have to put a different name in for each code, creating a new profile each time..(?)
I can only delete the names instead of editing them to change the name for additional codes.
I used a classic car code and used two cars that were wicked on the tracks..Insane!!..Oh man do I love that..I must of played this game for hours today using these two cars..(fun)

"Medal Of Honor European Assault"Xbox
Tonight I started a new profile on easy/recruit..I blew through the first two missions like nothing..With maxed out heath kits and didn't use any revives..my men were not damaged either.
It'll get harder as I go but hopefully I can beat this game this time around..That's my goal.

Decisions...Decisions..I will just have to make up my mind over the next few days @_@ :P.

It sure is keeping my son occupied, he hasn't beaten it yet though. I got lucky and picked it up at the local K-Mart for $19.99.

I'm thinking of picking up Psychonauts for him next, it seems to be getting great reviews and it looks like I might enjoy it myself.

-----------------------------------------------------------

I'm still working on Halo, I think I am enjoying it more this time around. I'm playing it on Legendary and just made it to the Library, it's starting to get intense.

Other than that, I'm still messing around with Burnout 3 and Stella Deus.

Nothing for me tonight..I'm a bit under the weather and I never get sick.....the only thing I've played today was "Putt & Putter"Gamegear...But a code I wrote down won't go in so I used a previous one..
just trying to get the code in wasted so much time I didn't get much progress done..Then on top of that I sucked as I did really woth the previous play.

Otherwise I just watched the long DVD that came in a Nintendo Power Magazine..(but feeling shitty)

DVD..

I've played another round of Maximo vs. The Army Of Zin on the PS2. I've mastered the second level (Into the fire) and I don't understand why I couldn't get through it when I first played the game. I also don't understand why this game doesn't get more fame. It was on sale in a lot of stores even if it got good reviews as much as I know. Well, good for me when I was able to buy it but like this they will not make a sequel.

Anyway, I wonder for what the little bunnies are in the first two levels. I know they give coins if you kill them but I wonder if something happens if you don't kill a single one of them. I mean they are cute and I love bunnies...

Late Night Samurai Shodown 5.

Damn I had the cab volume set high when I fired up the cab almost woke up my wife..

I just got my Ass kicked by some guy with a hammer(didn't catch his name)..He's got help as I'm being held and another character slides at me..
I really need to lower the level on this game as I can't seem to do much damage.
............I played this in an Arcade and did very well, yet I suck at home..

I have questions about this game reading about them here..(anywhere else?)
