Played a bit of Star Wars Episode 3 on the DS then decided I should save my DS/GBA games for all the long journeys on my forthcoming holiday. Still wanted to play something and so after buying my first NGPC game in years I decided to dig the machine out. Then I had to go on a hunt for some AA batteries and managed to find 2 in various parts of the house. So instead of playing my new game for it I just popped in Puzzle Bobble Mini. Was great though, did 38 out of the 99 levels. The machine is so much lighter than a DS but no backlighting. I lost a couple of times due to the lack of backlighting combined with my slight colourblindedness made me confuse the grey/pink ones.

After that I decided to give the Dreamcast a go but didn't want to play Typing of the Dead which was in there as I'd been typing all day. Still wanted to play a fun peripheral game though so unwrapped my copy of Sega Bass Fishing and the Fishing Controller I got some months ago and tried to get it to boot. No luck. I've got a US copy of the game but a UK dreamcast but my boot disc has never failed me yet. However the boot disc was freezing so I tried another one and it still failed to work. Eventually I got it going and it froze on the loading screen. I remember years ago I picked up a loose PAL copy of the game and that also failed on the loading screen but I had no fishing controller then so I didn't care. Anyway, after much trying and failing the game finally booted fine. Rejoice. So I gave it a go, it seemed quite fun although the novelty of having a different controller was kind of lost on me because I've mostly been playing DS recently. Completed arcade mode and caught a giant on the secret Palace stage. I thought it was quite easy but then again used a lot of continues. I guess I'll have to give the Originial DC mode a go. Might try out Sega Marine Fishing instead as that has more fish in it.

I rented Episode III for the PS2. I'm surprised they released a game like this before the release of the movie. It just reveals so much of the story line.

It's a pretty good game. Not great though.

"Animal Crossing" for Nintendo Gamecube.

This game is addictive to say the least. It reminds me a bit of the concept behind "Seaman" for the Sega Dreamcast wherein you interact with the inhabitants and things happen whether you play everyday or not. (Like weeds overrunning the place!) It is a great game and if you don't have a Gamecube just go to EB Games where it's 60-70 bucks (I paid 60 for mine) for a used one and get the game. (Buy the game new because they give you a free memory card with a couple added extras on it to save your game on it and is definitely worth it compared to the used version which [/i]won't have the memory card!)

My Son wanted my set of Sonic X cars so I went out and bought another set at Walmart tonight.

I was at a Target the other day and saw some Matchbox Mario Kart 64 cars - Donkey Kong and Wario. Wario's car was was some kind of van, and Donkey Kong's was a Dodge Ram. They were packaged seperately and cost 2 bucks or so, and were located with the other Matchbox cars.

Really... @_@ Oh man I gotta get those...Thank you so much..

Played a few games at a friend's house last night. First, we played Dig Dug, Galaga and Pole Position on the PS2 version of Namco Museum. Then we played Destruction Derby (PSX) for an hour or so, and then Burnout 3.

They liked all the games, but the one that got the biggest impression was Burnout 3. My friend was talking about how he didn't like most racing games but loved this one, and all he had done up to that point was a few rounds of Road Rage and the first crash junction. So he talked me into letting him borrow it.

At home, I played Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition on PS2.

Tried out the final feature of my GBA Movie Player - the NES emulator. So gave the original Super Mario Bros my first play of it in maybe up to 10 years or more! It was brilliant. Then tried Excitebike and Marble Madness - which seemed easier than playing on MAME. The emulator really impressed me and the resolution seems excellent seeing things meant for the big screen on my little DS screen.

Then my friend came round so I showed him my Dreamcast Fishing Rod. He had played Sega Bass Fishing with a controller before but not the rod so we played a single player tournament and took it in turns to fish. It was a good laugh and we won the first tournament but lost the second where small fish are discarded as the small fish kept biting right in front of the big'uns nose. After that tried Sega Marine Fishing which was a completely different experience. It was hard work playing that, probably because we don't know what we are doing and just reel and twitch as fast as possible before the hook. Man, that fishing rod was a good buy, i want to show it to more people now its such a laugh

Went through the two North Africa missions tonight,Took my time through them .....Actually doing the missions differently then before..
I found a glitch where I walked up an invisible wall and was high above my men..then I wound up falling to the level below..
My men were trying to get to me but the glitch had them almost stuck..I had started to go around to get them but before I did that they seemed to squeeze between the invisible wall.
the games just been weird tonight,my men have been getting stuck in places more then ever..

In the North Africa missions/the second mission..I spent more time finding grenades to blow up two tanks that were not part of any objective..If I go to far ahead one tank disappears so I wanted to blow it up before that..
I just wanted to see if it was destroyable..It was..Then I had to backtrack far to find more grenades for the second "parked tank" that also was destroyable...Just my own goal to pull off.

Pretty sweet sequel so far. I like the combat a little better although the graphics seem to have actually taken a hit. Even though I'm comparing it to the original on the xbox. Subject: Here kitty kitty.

A couple from Bellevue was dressed and ready to go out for the evening.

They turned on a night light, turned the phone answering machine on, covered their pet parakeet and put the cat in the backyard. They phoned the local cab company and requested a taxi. The taxi arrived and the couple opened the front door to leave their house. The cat they had put out into the yard scooted back into the house. They didn't want the cat shut in the house because she always tried to eat the bird. The wife got into the taxi while the husband went back inside to get the cat. The cat ran upstairs, the man in hot pursuit.

Waiting in the cab, the wife didn't want the driver to know the house would be empty for the night. She explained to the taxi driver that her husband would be out soon. "He's just going upstairs to say good-night to my mother."

A few minutes later, the husband got into the cab. "Sorry I took so long", he said as they drove away. "Stupid b..... was hiding under the bed. I had to poke her with a coat hanger to get her to come out! She tried to take off so I grabbed her by the neck. Then I had to wrap her in a blanket to keep her from scratching me. But it worked. I hauled her fat a... downstairs and threw her out into the back yard!"

The cabdriver hit a parked car...

We are playing on a NES that I have for sale on Ebay..I give them a good trial before they get packed up.

I tried the Placo light gun I bought on Saturday and it works great then my Son took over playing Duck Hunt..But he wanted to use the standard Zapper so snapped some picks as this was the first time he ever played this..
He was having a ball...Sweet!!!

I'm trying to find what else I have in Gun Games for NES..It's hard to remember.
I wish there was a list somewhere of gun only games for the NES..(?)..though I see 4 on the multicart right now.
So far I pulled off the Shelf...Some so far are not gun games..just what I pulled down.

Gumshoe
Gunsmoke

Going to play:
Monster Party

Samurai Shodown 5.
So I finally Beat Sankuro Yorozu using Haohmaru after getting my ass kicked a dozen times..but thanks to Thanks to Neo Geo.com member Takumaji I pulled it off.
I cheated however IMO...as I had the cab set to CPU Match 2..I changed the Soft Dip Setting to CPU 1,beat Sankuro Yorozu then changed it back after beating the next Character .(saved game)..Because I could be him once but not twice.
Now I'm stuck on Kazuki Kazama..

Can someone please explain to me what the Violence/SP etc settings are for/do..?

I'm still playing Maximo vs. The Army of Zin and there is no end to it... I've mastered another level yesterday, even if I had to work late and came home around eight o'clock. Medal Of Honor European Assault
Rainy Day Gaming...

I had some free time I did the one Russia mission over(on easy)..Quicker then before as I realize though I enjoy it,that enemies stop coming once I pass certain parts, otherwise they keep coming in droves.
I could sit in sniper spots all day picking them off over and over.....I tried to run through this mission faster to get where I'm almost done/Done to the point where no more enemies are around so I can search for this mission objective objective...(It doesn't show up on my radar)..There still is shelling so I still have to be careful not to get killed..I was pretty banged up near the end.
This time around my men took a beaten and I lost one soldier....I still could not seem to figure out where the item I'm looking for was...I've traveled through every corner of the level then I almost was going to give up in frustration thinking maybe a glitch occurred...(better off go look for info on the game/if Faqs/walkthrough)..Then I came up upon a spot where I killed a "objective" soldier and find a bag on the ground...I didn't realize that he drops a bag..That's my missing objective to get my Gold Medal..
Before that I decided to check if what I think is a glitch or:
A enemy Tank will appear again in a spot that I had called an air strike on earlier in the game(an objective)
The tank gets blown up then disappears,...if I walk away from the spot and come back several times nothing will be there ..
I figure If I go a little further from it most likely passing an area that makes the enemies come out the Tank reappears, but it doesn't do anything.
It's just sitting there running fully intact..I always go and seek some Grenades to blow it up...It does blow up..
I've never checked to see if it reappears after that......hmm,maybe..

That's it/one mission until late tonight.

Sonic the Hedgehog (Genesis)- Played through it for the millionth time today. It's still amazingly fun. I used the level skip code to get past Labyrinth zone, though- I hate that freaking level!

Medal Of Honor European Assault

So I finally reached the mission within Battle Of the Bulge, that I can't finish-beat on Normal.....on easy this time.."Operation Virus House"

I started the mission just to see how much intensity there was in the enemy gunfire and it was just the same as it was on normal. I'm not trying this mission tonight for as tired as I am I'll get all the way to the end and die..It'll be a waste. .I'll try it tomorrow with a clear head. :)

Besides I played through "Mission to Rocherath"that is one of the hardest and longest missions.
It took me so long to get through this mission tonight, mainly because I was looking for spots to take out enemies ahead of me..far ahead of me..
I took out two of the Tiger Tanks that are at the end of the mission before the objective to get to that part was even open.
I can't even get to those tanks yet because to get there is blocked..I have to fulfill a few objectives first before I can reach them..
But I found a way to sneak around to the right that I had not noticed before and took out the two tanks and several enemy gun emplacements...I know I wasn't supposed to be in this spot because some of the enemies were frozen..yet still killable..I spent more time running around rounding up Bazooka ammo then anything...
but dong al the running around searching out spots to snipe far enemies really helped later.
This mission can be really hard as it's flooded with enemy tanks..
Doing it the way I did it this time made it much easier..But the time I reached the end I had only a forth of the enemies left to have to deal with..After taking them out easily I just ran around this area that before would of not been open like this ...All I had now was one enemy window emplacement that an enemy would fire at me regenerating every 30 seconds.
I searched every part of that area looking for hidden spots or anything unusual..
I almost got myself stuck in a glitch..I jumped up on a wall with a fence that separates the sides and followed it all the way out..My men were going nuts(flickering) as the game didn't know where to send them..As I got further they took off,It seemed they were now going to go all the way around to the beginning of the level and that is a long way in travel..the fence separates this are so I was confusing the game....As I came back to keep them from getting to far I fell onto the fence and got caught-stuck...Oh man I shit myself because here I was at the end of the mission having only to blow up the now unguarded bridge and I screwed up because of fooling around..
Surprisingly after backtracking and jumping I was able to get out.........whew...
When I blew up the bridge four enemies soldiers show up on the bridge to be blown up with it..The game was just supposed to have 4 guys and a tank... die on that bridge because normally I would not try to take them out with all that firepower..IMO=Your meant to sneak by them and get under them/the bridge and blow it up..
My men were all alive with full health when I ended the mission..not like last time..

Farmhouse Liberation didn't feel as short as it did last time..I tried to do this mission smarter by taking a hidden route I found under a bridge.
Failing that miserably because though I'm able to sneak up on the bridge guards my following(stupid)men shoot at them on sight....they messed me up so bad that I was taking a bad pounding by a now alert enemy force..
After that I did do this mission very well..I found a nice spot that I located last time that gives me views of the entire are I need to be looking over.
That and unlimited Bazooka ammo(not a cheat) and I'm set..
This mission however one of my men disappeared..I have no clue what happened to him..The game never said he died and he had full health.
I do notice in this game(tested this theory) that some of my (1 of 3) men will constantly get hurt on stuff turning their icons yellow..I'll heal them making their icons green and walk under no enemy fire turn around and they are yellow again.
When this happens I hear groans behind me..because these jerks are getting snagged on things and it's depleting their health..It's almost like it's meant to be. :/

If I finish-beat Operation Virus House tomorrow and it's not the last mission I'm going to be in SHOCK!!!..maybe even pissed.. x_x

I played MLB SlugFest Loaded which I'd bought earlier in the day for $10 at Circuit City. Fun...and funny...game though it's been awhile since I'd played my last SlugFest game so my gameplay blew chunks the first game. I did better the second game. I do like the fact you have full rosters this time as the last one I have you have maybe 3 or 4 pitchers and 1 extra hitter (only for use in DH games).

Subject: Headline - Coinopwarehouse building sold, 1000 machines to liquidate!

Hello! I have gotten an excellent offer on my warehouse in Hagerstown,
MD and have signed a contract to sell it. There are over 1000 machines
in the building, and I don't have a new place to store that much stuff,
so it all has to go! Most unrestored machines are now under $100, and
everything is priced to move. Email or call to make an appointment
(lloyd@coinopwarehouse.com or call my cell at 703-801-1459) and bring a
truck! Pictures are current on the website at www.coinopwarehouse.com.
Thanks! Lloyd

Been playing wwe day of reckoning still. I don't really watch the WWE in real life (maybe once a month for the fake 'drama') but the game is pretty fun, I'd say i'm probably about 60 percent of the way through the career mode.

Aside from that I have played a little bomberman on DS, Polarium on DS, Super mario RPG on the PSP (20 FPS woot. getting better - its nice to have some of the older games in portable form).

Medal Of Honor European Assault

Frustration, aggravation, pissed off plus curse words come to mind after trying to pass "Operation Virus House"

My dad was here most of the day shooting the breeze and we had a nice family dinner etc.
After he left tonight I sat down ready to tackle this mission..I got all comfortable with my headphones on,lights out,Stewart's Rootbeer and started.
I made it all the way to the end-bunker(boss) with a ton of health packs and revives..
I get inside the bunker and do very well getting past the massive opposition while I timer runs down.I find my objective,A boss on top of a tower with a machine gun turret.
I have no where to hide he's blasting me like no tomorrow and sending onslaught after onslaught of surrounded me soldiers..With all that I came with I was easily crushed....Ridiculous I say!!!
The game is so doable until here..The only way to kill this boss is to lob around 10 Grenades up at him and it's impossible..
I finally die after giving it everything I can...as I die the timer runs(mission failed) out so I'm screwed both ways.
I'm so frustrated with this because I want to so bad pass this part..and I think there is more after this boss.
I'd like to finish the game..
.
I give it another go with an idea in mind..Go in with a Bazooka as hard as it is and shoot at the boss.
This basically means running through the level passing up most objectives to get to the end-bunker.
I pull it off,I get there with Bazooka in hand but I don't have much to go in with health packs and revives..
I hit the boss 4 times and nothing,die and I'm done again.....Pissed.

I need to try again and see if I can get there with a Bazooka with ammo, ton of health packs and revives..it may not be possible..That'll be my last try.

No more tonight for me though..

Hey man. Aren't you from WV around huntington like myself?. Was just wondering as you said you went to CC and got MLB: Slugfest Loaded, just wondered if you went to the CC at the Huntington Mall, was wondering do they have anything left in the $10 bins there...I called monday and they said they still had 2 full bins left, haven't had a chance to get up there, was just wondering if there is anything left to buy?.

Thanks man if you see these :)

Woo Woo!!!..I did it...I finished this game,I passed "Operation Virus House"

Again sat down, got comfortable with my headphones on,lights out,Stewart's Rootbeer and started..
I took my time getting to the Bunker, being super careful not to get hit, collecting every Health Pack,Grenade and Revive...
Through the travel to the Bunker I filled a Bazooka to max and left it at a switch-able gun position...
Bunker:
I cleared out the first wave of enemy soldiers in the bunker using my M1 Garand and Machine gun..
Right before the timer(spot) turns on and I get locked in the Bunker I ran back outside( a two minute trip) and grabbed the Bazooka and kept the machine gun...dumping the M1..
I went on with a full adrenaline meter that gives you invincibility for a short period of time...Everytime before the masses of enemy soldiers forced me to have to use this early..this time I didn't.
I'm set..I can't figure any other way to beat this Boss..I have everything possible..
I go in to the bunker again and get the timer started ..This engages an onslaught of enemy soldiers that I take out smarter this time with Grenades, and the machine gun..Peek shoot, take cover.
My gut at this point was really tight as in this spot I can die numerous times plus with the timer running down I can't take to long..
I kill them all and I'm clear to take a quick breather...I'm at the point to fight the boss..Once I walk out there all hell breaks loose and I have no where to take cover,it's do or die....I need to be ready.

I take a deep breath and my gut now is hurting as I've come this far once again.... will I die once more.
Standing at the doorway to the boss:
Since I've been here before I had a plan..Run in with the Bazooka pointed up at the bosses Machine gun emplacement and as soon as he appears hit the adrenaline/invincibility and fire like crazy..
This worked as I was being hit by bullet after bullet I killed the boss after 4-5 shots.
4-5 Shots hitting the machine gun itself as if I miss that there's a chance he won't get hit at all.
Objective complete I'm stunned... as he dies I scurry, switching to the machine gun and take out all the remaining enemy soldiers...Ohh what a relief!!
Game not over though..One more Objective to complete with the time still running down..But I don't know what it is....OHH NOOO!!!!!!!..
I need to stop the Virus Bomb from taking off and I have no clue how..I'm running around franticly in circles looking for something to shut off in the center launchpad,I see nothing....I hit I a few times with Bazooka shots,nothing..I keep pausing and looking at info in my objectives.
Ohhhh Mannn I'm going to lose again ..Damn it!!..
I run around and find a now open door and run up the stairs hitting a button by the skin of my teeth as the times was so close to it's end..I don't know if my eyes have ever been that wide open looking for something to hit before..I felt so stomach sick after this as I just didn't want to do all this again..
........
After this I get the ending sequence and what looks to be the hint of the games sequel or continuance..I scored all Gold for this profile(easy) but got nothing special..Nothing like an option to use cheats or..

Honestly the game felt different this time with this more careful route I took this time around..I ran into a lot of fleeing enemies....,enemies running ahead to parts I will be approaching next..I was able to take out a lot of them this time around...I had not seen them running like this before.

Can I do this mission "Operation Virus House" on Normal or Veteran..I don't think so..

What will I start next....undecided..

.......
Otherwise I played NES Tetris and SMB/DH..I packed up my for sale on Ebay NES system tonight testing it again before the packing.
For the first time ever my Son played Tetris and he wanted to keep playing..
