Last night and a little today I played Super Mario Land 2, and I blew through almost the entire game. I gathered up all the AA batteries that were kicking around here, all of which I figured were dead or nearly dead, but I was going to check them regardless to see if any were worth taking to school. I popped a pair into my GBC, and since the light was pretty dim, I figured I'd drain them immediately. However, I kept playing and playing and playing... Apparently, I forgot just how battery efficient the GBC is. :P I did eventually kill them off, but now I feel kind of stupid for blowing through most of the game and the power left in the batteries at home instead of at school. :P

I also popped in my spare Suikoden and played for a minute to make sure it worked before shipping it out. Then my copies of Persona 2 and Rhapsody arrived, and I watched the bonus disc with Persona 2 and gave the game a try for an hour or so. I've liked what I've played so far, but I don't think I can get into playing through the whole game at the moment.

I got a japanese Gamecube for free on Monday from a friend of my wife. It came with some games, so now I'm into Baten Kaitos (which I bought for 9$, cib in mint condition a week ago) and Paper Mario RPG (The Thousand Year Door (free with my Gamecube). :D
I'm still stuck on Polarium, Yawaraka Atama Juku and my new Rakubiki Jiten for my DS.

I just recently beat Strider 2 for the Genesis. It's certainly not as bad as many people make it out to be, but it doesn't hold a candle to the original. The level design was just so... boring.

I"m 82 worlds into my newly acquired copy of Super Mario World. I seem to recall hitting 91 back in the day so I guess I have to keep pressing onwards.

Pirates Gold is every bit as cool as I expected it to be. Coincidentely I started it on National Talk Like a Pirtate Day.

Just got Rocket Knight Adventure last night. Now this game is just fun. I don't think people have been singing its praises enough 'cause I had no idea it was even worth owning. If you're a Genesis fan buy it now!

Finally I passed the mission I was stuck in after several tries...I took my time did the mission smarter and even changed my weapons.
What I didn't realize was that I had three saves that I wasn't using,so everytime I died or ..I had to start from the beginning of a mission and that really sucked.
I thought I had hot a glitch at one point of a mission as I must of sat for 10 minutes in a emplaced machine gun just cutting down enemies.....They just kept coming so I waited until there was the least amount of enemies coming at my position then I ran to my objective...This was tough as I got by barely.
The next mission was simple I blew through it so fast I don't remember any of it..
I saved at the next mission and stopped... a mission with Crocodiles in a river that I needed to pass..I had to kill all the approaching/sneaking Crocodiles before I could cross...This particular parts graphics looked so bad it was like playing an early PS title.
Creepy though as the Crocodiles would pop out of nowhere and attack you.

Metal Gear Acid on my PSP. What an incredible game. Once you get the understanding of the card thing, you realize that the game ISN'T as complicated as reviews would have had you believe. The instruction book isn't very well written. I found that the best thing to do was use a Gamefaqs walkthrough for a few levels in order to see the mechanics explained better. Everything becomes clearer.

The first X-Men Legends, this time on my Xbox. I also have to take another spin on the beautiful Far Cry Instincts on the OPM disc. I can hardly wait for THAT game.

Xbox: Black Hawk Down....... I have 11 missions left to finish this game and I'm hoping so bad that it will get better.
I have yet to enjoy any of it,yet to say awe-sweet anywhere in it...It basically sucks...(or maybe I'm just getting to picky)
I hate being limited to where I can go..If I stray just a tad away from the linear path "mission-failed-over...I hate being forced to have to a certain path with no options for a tactical approach..I don't mind the rail shooting parts even though they are bland.
The game is bland...It seems so rushed and so cheap...
The enemies come like they are blind right into the line of fire..and often get stuck in places...The enemies getting stuck in places is the worst as some of the missions require that all enemies are found and killed.
I passed three missions tonight..the last mission I made it all the way to the end and I could not find an enemy to complete the mission..I ran around searching all over the place trying to blow up areas where he might be hiding...Nothing..It was like I was in a glitch..
I had to re-load my last save(lucky I saved) and then the last enemy shows up where he was supposed to be....Simply aggravating.

I'm having no fun with this game but I have a goal to finish it.. x_x

I beat Super Mario Land 2 at school yesterday. Wario is goofy looking. :) It's kinda funny, I haven't beaten the majority of the games in my collection, but at this rate, I'm going to run out of Game Boy games that I've yet to beat. But at the very least, I can squeeze some more play time out of Mario Land 2, since I still need to get all the secret stages. And next I suppose I could play Mario Land 3. Maybe in the near future I'll have to do a little eBay shopping to beef up my Game Boy library.

Anyway, I've been playing a lot of Rhapsody. I'm a several hours in now. Amazingly, I managed to get a game over. It was because of me being careless, though. I lost a couple monsters in a boss battle, and then I didn't swap in a couple more monsters/puppets before the next boss battle. I'm keeping the levels of my monsters and puppets even, so that helps in trying to squeeze some challenge out of the game. Cornet is around 10 levels higher than any of them.

Untold Legends on PSP. The game's fun. Gonna get further in Metal Gear Acid today, which is great. I've pretty much given up on Ridge Racer, with only two boss car races left. I can't beat the Angelus with the two lameass cars that I have. These races aren't worth the sheer frustration....and I play a lot of racers with no problems. Console difficulty levels on a handheld. Namco made it far too difficult at the end.

I went to EB today to buy one game,. x_x ..Was looking for a used game on my "in mind list"of games I want..

EB was pretty crowded...I couldn't make up my mind on what I wanted and I amost left..Then I said the heck with it and grabbed several titles that I wanted and bought them.
Silpheed is brand new sealed ..at $11.99 I snagged it as I've been looking for this game.
I almost bought Burnout Revenge too,but I'll wait to find one used..(had none used)

Last Night.

XBOX: Delta Force Black Hawk Down..

I just finished the game..I had two missions left and one was the final story mission.
This last mission was a much better spread out mission whereas taking father routes to get at enemies didn't end the mission in failure..This mission was quite big in scale.
I didn't know that this mission was the last mission until I finished it and the story ending took place.
The next truly last mission was a different ending mission to the storyline..and it was a solo, quite hard mission

Forza Motorsport..

.................I want to do the below.

Run Forza On Multiple Screens
This describes how to run Forza on multiple screens as shown in big events setup by Microsoft.

Note: For this to work, you MUST have a seperate Xbox and copy of Forza for EVERY additional screen you wish to use, and all Xboxes must be on the same network together.

1. Start all your individual copies of Forza.
2. On each copy of the game, go to the Options menu, scroll to the very bottom ("Credits"), then press the left control stick in and down. This will cause another option, "Network Cockpit Settings" to appear. On your main screen, select host, on each other screen, select which view you would like the screen to show.
3. Now all the screens but the host screen should be waiting for you to start a race. Using the host screen, start a game, and the other boxes will automatically load the track and their individual views.
4. Enjoy Forza like never before.
