If you can tolerate that game for more than 10 minutes, you are a better man than I.

Does tolerating the repetitive and boring SNES Alien Vs. Predator for a half-hour count? LOL

@Videogamerdaryll: Nice finds!

I played more Burnout 2 for GC, along with Tetris and NBA Jam Tournament Edition for SNES.

NBA Jam TE is the first game in years that has made me want to slam my SNES controller on the floor in frustration (although I didn't... I killed 2 SNES controllers back in the day doing that... I've learned my lesson LOL ). Even on the easy setting it's tough to get a nice lead... the biggest pain is that the team that didn't have the ball at the end of the last quarter gets it at the beginning of the next one. So when the other team makes a three point with 1 second remaining from the other side of the court, and your team gets the ball but can't make a shot before the buzzer, the other team gets the ball next quarter, and if they make a dunk, they've just made a 5 point run. That occurred three times in two games.
So I don't think I'll be playing that again for a while.

Burnout 2, however, has quickly become one of my favorite racing games... but I knew it would. :D

Does tolerating the repetitive and boring SNES Alien Vs. Predator for a half-hour count? LOL LOL ;) ..: )

@Videogamerdaryll: Nice finds! Thank you..

If you look back I'd say 5 pages in this thread you'll see some old posts where I was playing Burnout 2 on the Xbox and really enjoying the game..

The Game Rocks.. :rocker:

Coincidentally..Tonight around 1 am I was talking to my buddy Ron about SNES NBA Jam TE....We were talking about NBA Jam,Hang Time and NBA Live 95.
He's real good at these games...

He said he wants to come over and play them on the SNES against me..
We made a bet.... he'd spot me 30 pts(I suck)and he'd still win..
Then he said he really wants to play SNES NBA Jam TE and that would be the challenge game..

I've had this NBA Jam TE Large Arcade machine Marquee on top of my Tekken 3 Arcade machine..To this day he still hasn't noticed it.. LOL

He also wants to become a member, but he's never posted on a forums site nor has the time like I do..(We also talked about that tonight)

He was thinking of trying to set up some sort of meet,challenges..get togethers for these type of games.. plus NES games like RBI Baseball,Double Dribble,Tecmo Bowl/Super Bowl.Ice Hockey,Blades Of Steel and Super Mario Brothers..plus others..

Last week I got a package from EB Games which contained 16 games...I bought their 15 Dreamcast games for $50 offer and I've been checking some of them out...so far I've mostly tried some wrestling and some driving/racing/battle games. Somehow, I frankly expected a bit better graphics on the DC wrestling games but they're alright. The 16th game I got was MVP Baseball 2003 for the XBox. I wanted to get a baseball game for this system which I just got and I like MVP 2004 (which I have for GameCube) so I got this since it was so cheap ($6.99). It's actually about all I've been playing the last few days now.

Oh yeah. Rocks indeed.

What is your favorite thing about the game?

I'm a big fan of the crash mode, but my favorite thing is when a car speeds up ahead of me and then goes flying after hitting a sedan while I pass it up.. My favorite courses so far are the freeway ones.

Keep us updated on how that challenge with your friend goes.

Today, I hooked up my N64 and continued playing where I had left off on Super Mario 64. Then I played a little Mario Kart 64.

Doing some workout with my NGPC:

Cardfighter's Clash (SNK) got the 6 coins and up to 220 cards. At 25 hours into it, it is still fun to play. I also am playing some The Last Blade.

Just got KoF: Evolution for the DC and giving it some practice... A nice game overall. I never really tried a KoF game before this one but That is one great game.

I popped in RobocopXbox tonight....."Garbage".. LOL ..
I got aggravated looking at the stupid AI..I love FPS..but I don't know what to think of this game..

I went to the 3rd level I guess.. since if I died I have to start off way at the beginning..I don't know how to save..

I want to see if I can find a Weapons code..If I can blow somethings up then I'll play it again, otherwise on the shelf it goes.

I put in Simpsons Hit & Run (PS2) again..Ok!..I'm tired of this game now..I had my fun....Do the same old thing over and over just using another character...Crap with a little fun involved...(shelf)

I Put in Lethal Skies (PS2)..I've heard some bad things about this game..But I haven't seen it yet..I'm liking it so far..
I miss a good Jet Fighter and I'm hoping I don't run into something that's going to make me shelf it..

I'm working this pile down...Socom II will be the last game I play..

Yeah, it's pretty repetitive, especially the last few missions before you beat the game. When I was done with the last mission, I was suprised. I was expecting something a lot bigger and harder. I wouldn't have played through it so fast if I wasn't borrowing it from a friend. LOL
My favorite part of the game, though, were the missions at the start of the game where you basically played as Homer going through a day of work.

Anyways, I'm playing more Super Mario 64.

Also picked up Colin Mcrea Rally 04 and it stays in my Xbox now great RAlly RAcer with unbelievable graphics
also if anyone out there is "on the 'fence" about picking up the TwinSnakes and even remotely enjoyed the PSX originall should do themselves a great favor and pick up this masterful RE-make the added cutscenes alone are worth every penny :D

Getting into Xbox lately, so my classic stuff is probably feeling lonely at the moment. Just picked up Project Gotham (original in platinum gray), finally - can't believe I didn't get that game sooner! What an amazing job. Now that they dropped the price to $30, PG2 is most definitely on my "to-get" list.

Breakdown (Xbox) is also pretty cool - they went for a "total immersion" concept, and they succeeded. I have yet to spend much time with it, but so far I'm finding it a bit on the tough side. Picked it up for a measly $20 (down from $50! @_@ ) at my home port, Target.

Borrowed Skies of Arcadia Legends (GameCube) from a buddy. Wow - it really sucks you in. I'll have to track this one down for myself, soon as he gives me back Grandia.

One thing I'd say as a complaint..
The jump in difficulty in this game is insane.. You have a very easy level, then an extremely hard level then the next level will be a short breeze.

I still like the game though..

Lately I've been trying to get through some of the things on Super Smash Bros. Melee...I don't know if it's just because I was never a super-stellar fighting game expert or what, but I can't seem to hit that punching bag past 1000 ft, nor can I seem to defeat the 100-man melee even with my best fighter (currently Link). I got to 99, and then the last one is like a real opponent, and I couldn't defeat it with 200% damage. I need to practice so that I can reach the all-punch-knowing zen state.

Have fun...takes a goddamned long time and a lot of frustration in the bonus levels, but Super Sonic is worth it. Or you could just use the "Debug Code" and cheat your way into it...look it up on GameFAQs. :)

Congrats! Sonic 1 is still great, though my favorite is probably Sonic 2. Spin Dash... :P

I haven't played a game in 2 days believe it or not, so when I got in yesterday, I booted up the Xbox to discover that Midway Arcade Treasures was still in it. I played Robotron and Spy Hunter for a while.

Then, I tried my new copies of Prisoner of War and Rogue Ops. Both were pretty tiresome because stealth games start to get boring after a while. I was afraid to put Aquaman in because I've heard so many bad things about it.

Afterwards, I went back to Max Payne and made it up to Chapter 7. When I got bored with using Bullet Time, I went back to Robotron.

today, I played EA's MVP Baseball 2004 on the GCN. Not bad at all, even though the game's version of the players rarely resemble their real-life counterpart. I'm alsp a bit disappointed that EA Canada could not get a more accurate rendition of the Olympic Stadium. It's better than the job done by Acclaim over All-Star Baseball 2002, but there are still many details that are either lacking or inaccurate, the biggest of these inaccuracies being the scoreboard.

Can anyone who's played the game already tell me whether the other stadiums are represented more truthfully?

The last few days have been GameCube days...

On Friday night, I beat Space Raiders using Naji which wasn't a hard task. You get unlimited continues so I just kept playing through to the end. I probably won't play it again for a while...

Yesterday, I started I-Ninja and played through the first 2 levels. Usually, I hate 3D platform games, but I thought it was better than Mario Sunshine. Somehow, I saved a new game over those 2 levels and had to restart. I blame the confusing menus. I replayed those levels later on after my anger subsided, and got past the first boss. I like it when the game switches to a derivative of Punch-Out. I hate the Monkey Ball-type levels that appear every few minutes...

I played Super Smash Bros. Melee for a few minutes and beat the Kirbys challenge with Pikachu. No new trophies, but what can you do?

Later, I played F-Zero GX, and I enjoyed it. Every site I read says the game is difficult and it probably is, but once I learned how to drift to keep other racers from slamming into me as often, it was pretty fun.

If I can get out of here today, I'll probably pick up XIII for Xbox. I really need to work on my final presentation for class...

But I come across them a lot...If you come across another one cheap, could ya let me know? I wouldn't mind having one of those. How much you usually see them for? And what does it cost to ship something like that?

Decided to play something other than Super Smash Bros. Melee today...

So I played Biker Mice From Mars and Super Mario RPG on the SNES.
